Step 1:
In your steam library, search for a game/tool called Unturned Dedicated Server.

Step 2:
Install the tool.

Step 3:
After the tool has downloaded, go to Library- Downloads and press PLAY next to Unturned Dedicated server.


Step 4:
After waiting for the server to FULLY load in,
(to tell when it has fully loaded in, you will tell by the CMD file stopping printing text, and by it saying "Loading Level 100%")
type shutdown in the cmd file, which will close the CMD SAFELY. Do not close it by pressing X, it can possibly CORRUPT the server files.

After you have followed the priveous steps, go to your Steam Library, search for Unturned Dedicated Server again.

Step 5: Right click Unturned Dedicated Server, then hover over MANAGE, and BROWSE LOCAL FILES.


Step 6: Once the file is open, go to the SERVERS folder, then DEFAULT, then SERVER again and press RIGHT CLICK on COMMANDS.dat (Open with notepad, notepad++, or any other apps that let you text.) and open COMMANDS.dat using the app.

Step 7: In this commands.dat you can input different commands which will alter the settings of your server. All of the commands can be found here: https://mega.nz/file/BqgH1IAS#sD40ra6Pm_21_KMkupvdJBVbmFBtOh4-vy7SWfY6194

If you do not trust the link, then you can follow the next step to put the most important settings to your likeing.

Step 8: The most important commands you should use are:
.dat COMMANDS:
name ... (input)
Whitelist (makes only whitelisted players be able to join, see Step 9)
map ... (input) ex: PEI , Washington , Germany , Russia
Password ... (input)
Owner (SteamID of server owner)
Admin (SteamID of server admin)
PvE (disables PVP)

CMD COMMANDS:
Save (saves the world and current progress)
Say (broadcasts message to everyone in the server)

Step 9:
If you want to enable whitelist in your server, first, put in commands.dat Whitelist, then, open the WHITELIST.dat and input the STEAMID of the whitelisted members.

Step 10: Open Unturned Dedicated Server again, and after it loaded fully, you may join your LAN Server by going into PLAY - SERVERS - LAN - and your server will appear there.

*THIS IS A LAN SERVER. You can only play with friends that have the same connection as you (wifi,router) or have applications help you.
Applications that I trust and used before to help me make a server were:
HAMACHI , RADMIN VPN.
RADMIN VPN is a better choice as you do not need to create an account, and is very straight-forward.
To use RADMIN VPN you have to:
1. Press Network - Create Network (input a name and password to your likeing)
2. Get your friends to join the Network
3. Do all the steps that I have mentioned before and you can all enjoy the server.
THE SAME APPLIES TO HAMACHI, BUT YOU NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT FOR THAT.
