Flush
This is quite difficult to get - it needs a bit of skill, a lot of luck and careful planning with precise execution. I went for the 1-8 security level bots. If anyone comes with a simpler approach, I'm all ears.

Level 46
Your work starts at level 46. It is a checkpointed level so in case of failure a quick restart is possible.

You need to enter this place with a high level bot (preferably level 7) and 9 transfer points. Your main objective is to capture a 8-level bot (a B821 hover droid is guaranteed to float somewhere on the map) and another high level bot of a security level not yet contained in your party. So if you entered the map with a 7-level bot you hunt for something in the 1-6 range. It's preferable to go for higher level bots first, as they tend to survive a little longer. Avoid fast bots and hover bots - in fact the B821 should be the only hover bot that you cap. Get the slow and heavily armored ones.

This is the start of the map:

This is your target:

The transfer points management is absolutely crucial. Therefore it is imperative to:
  • Enter the map with a high level bot (this is why the 7-level is recommended) and full set of transfer points.
  • At the start of the map, capture a suitable high level bot as fast as possible so that any freshly earned transfer points don't "overflow". Don't destroy two sentry turrets placed in the middle of the map before expending the transfer points, as they are worth a lot and you'll find yourself in a very difficult position if you waste transfer points. If you can't manage to cap an adequate droid before doing too much destruction - restart level from checkpoint.
  • After capturing a droid, shelter it in your starting room and go on killing spree to regain 8 transfer points for capturing the B821.
  • Try to destroy all the crates before clearing the level - this way you'll hopefully spawn more droids to kill and regain transfer points.

Your 7-level starting droid should be preferably upgraded as much as possible (maybe only avoiding the speed upgrades) so that you can collect power-ups for your 8-level droid (armour and firepower are the most important upgrades to get).

Level 47

Nothing special on this level. The starting room is good for sheltering your prize droids and doing destruction with a single bot. In fact, until you destroy a couple of crates on the right side of the room, there's only one passage out. Therefore you can demolish most of the enemies (and a few sentry turrets) popping out on the left of the room, spraying shots and hiding back. Just be sure to switch back to your more courageous droids and put them back in the shelter. You either want to capture a 5 or 6 level droid (again: heavy, slow, non-hover type) or exit the map with as much transfer points as possible.

Level 48

This is where you'll be using the B821 to conquer the map. The level is divided in a few parts with black voids between them. The non-hover droids won't be able to move from the starting - a perfect circumstance. Carefully clear the map with the B821 and isolate a level 4 droid for capture.

If any speed upgrades show on this level, you might want to pick them up with your hover-killer. This will come in handy in the showdown on...

Level 49
OK, so the insanity starts (and hopefully also ends) here.

Your droids will start hunting the enemies and generally put themselves in harm's way very fast. You need to act even faster.

On entering this map you should have a nice party of 4-8 level droids and a few (1-3) transfer points to spare. Or something approximately valuable in terms of droid levels + available transfer points, like a party of 3-8 level droids and no transfer points. Switch onto B821 (you DID collect the armor power-ups for it, didn't you?) and rush into the fray shooting enemies as fast as possible to earn the few transfer points needed to complete the flush. Then capture the remaining bots.
Crusher
This one is surprisingly easy to obtain. Remember though that the 25 bots have to be crushed in a single game.

First of all you will have to set your system date to 24th December. The game will put itself into Xmas-mode and upon starting a new game you'll be offered playing the special minigame. The objective of this game is not to kill the droids but to destroy the presents and christmas trees. You'll quickly notice the doors that you have to crush the bots with. You'll also notice that some of the presents spawn on their destruction a bunch of small nano-droids.

The point is: most of the bots are of the stupidest kind and walk randomly. It's damn near impossible to get them into suitable crushing position. But the nano-droids are a bit smarter and will move into your direction on sight. Therefore clear the sectors of standard bots and sentry turrets and then start targeting the presents. When they spawn nano-droids, lure and crush them one by one.

"Do the EMP kill and Flamethrower kill achievements need to be done in a single run, like Crusher? It doesn't say"

Sadly, yes. That's why I didn't do them for now :/

It's been a long time since I played Droid Assault, but as far as I remember they weren't particularily hard. Just get a hold of a bot armed with a disruptor or flamethrower and cling to him at all costs. Prefer faster bots over better armored.
