How to Stop Deflecting When Moving on Controllers (or just edit key binds in general)
By Globbo
When you play on controller, once you get Red's arm, if you use the shoulder buttons to move your character, it deflects as well as moves. The automatic deflecting can cripple you hard when trying to no hits, so this guide shows how to change your controller key binds to prevent this. (Note: this guide is for controllers only, if you're looking to edit your key binds on keyboard, then look somewhere else)

How to Do It
Start by right clicking on Everhood in your Steam library, then go to manage and click on controller layout, as shown in the image below.

If this is your first time opening this menu, some introduction text will show up. You don't need to read this if you don't want to.

Next, under your controller of choice, click edit layout. Look through the list of buttons until you find "bumpers". Set the left and right bumper to left D-pad and right D-pad respectively.

Now that's it! Simply close the menu and return to Everhood. You can also use this menu to rebind any other controls you'd like, but this was the only thing I had problems with in Everhood.
