Configs for low-end PC (Potato mod)
By Cracker
The game runs at 60 fps (like most fighting games). Game speed depends on FPS, and if FPS drops below 60, the game will run slower (including for your opponent).
If setting the minimum values in the game settings did not help achieve stable 60 fps, then try to use the configs below

Config files location
You need to change/replace file called GameUserSettings.ini and, optionally, Engine.ini. They are located in path C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\SamuraiShodown\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

To get to this folder you can do the following:
1. Press Win+R
2. Type %AppData% into the address bar and hit enter.
3. Navigate back to the "Local" folder
4. Navigate to C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\SamuraiShodown\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
5. Done. You will see the following files:
Low potato config
Download this file and replace GameUserSettings.ini with this file in the folder:

(This config was made by HD 520 Expert (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8nXxMHce24 )
Medium potato config
If the game still can't run at 60 fps with the previous config, try this one:

Big potato config
If the game still cannot run at 60 fps with the previous config, you will have to replace/change the Engine.ini file.
Download this file and replace Engine.ini with it:

Results
The two previous configuration files contain the most minimal settings that I could achieve. With them your game will look like this:

With my PC specs (NVIDIA GeForce GT 730, AMD Athlon II X3 455 Processor) , on some maps like Dojo and Gairyu Isle the game runs at a stable 60 fps, but on some others the fps drops to 50.
Explanation of some config parameters
For GameUserSettings.ini:
  • ResolutionQuality - Lowering the value can increase FPS performance by several points. Low values lead to pixelation of the game (as seen in the picture above). Note: Enabling/disabling full screen mode resets the parameter to its original value (100)
  • bUseVSync - turn on/off VSync (It is recommended to turn it off, as it reduces performance and increases the input log)

Do you know which setting in the config is for disabling bloom?
