Description
This guide contains some less obvious and slightly obscure mechanics that you can use to take your runs to the next level.

The examples are made with gamepad controls in mind but all tricks can be performed regardless of control scheme. If you are unsure about the keybinds, consult the in game manual for a good breakdown of the basic controls.

If you're the developer reading this, please do not remove these. They don't impact the skill floor of the game and only give more depth and tools for experienced players.

Now, lets get into it.
Stride Hopping
Stride hopping allows you to end a stride with a jump, giving you extra height to reach ledges or to perform longer tricks. Stride hops are performed by letting go of the stride button and then pressing jump at the right moment when landing on the beam. The timing and its precision is based on the depth of the ledge. Thicker beams are easier to stride hop with. Beware though, spamming the jump key will perform a backflip instead.

Here is another example on how stride hopping can be integrated into your tricks. This spot in the steel yard is great for practicing stride hopping.
Precision Fall
Pressing the charge jump key right before landing allows you to perform a precision landing which stops your momentum. The height a normal precision landing can be performed from is pretty low. This can be circumvented by tapping both the roll key and the charge jump key at the same time right before landing.
Wall Stop
A wall slide is automatically performed when hitting a wall with momentum. This slide resets your drop height allowing for quick descent from great heights. Can be combined with wall ejects and wall runs.
Charged Jumps
This may not be an obvious mechanic. Holding A for a short period while running allows you to "charge up" the jump giving you extra height. Some tricks, like the backflip, cannot be performed on flat ground with a regular jump.

A charged jump can also be used to climb particularly high walls.

1) It's possible to dive roll during wallrun.
2) It's possible to make precision landing faster. Just press T right after touching the ground.

@ArmourVG Press the bail button (right stick on controller). You can only push players if the host has enabled the setting
