the industrials make sense, because they seem the most likely to not send their elite units into the middle of a fight, and seem more likely to use modern tactics. I also just love the sort of "let's show them that their fancy armor can't resist rockets" vibe they have against the imperials, and they have LMGs for dealing with the tribals

I choose the empire, because my absolutely STACKED colony would be of great help to the empire, plus, the empire has advanced techs, witch we could sell to make money and get even better equipment, and take over RimWorld.
