First of all, if you just want the bow, you can find a cheat method for this online. However, I was much more interested in the puzzle than I was in the bow, which I am not even using now that I have it.



You need to insert the symbols from 1 hour in the future at the bottom row. The top row shows the symbols that would have opened the door 1 hour ago.

So your solution is written in the future. How would you find it?

The trick is in finding the pattern by which the symbols change each hour. It is not the same every hour, but it is the same change for that hour every day (I think, please let me know in the comments).

We can measure this in how many times we moved each symbol up (pressing W) to reach the current code from the one we had 1 hour ago.

For example, count how many times you press W to reach the 08:00 code by starting with the one from 07:00.

Note that the code is the same from HH:00 to HH:59, but I didn't want to write examples like 08:MM because it looks odd and confusing. For example, you can take a screenshot at 08:16 and it will be your 08:00 code.

Example from 07:00 to 08:00 with the code found for 09:00 below (British Summer Time/UTC/GMT +1):

• At 08:00, starting with all symbols set as they were at 07:00, you need to move the symbols up like so: +8326
  
  
  
  
• At 08:00, starting with all symbols set as they were at the top, you need to move the symbols up like so to open the door: +9304
  Note that both examples are from different campaigns, but the solution for both was +9304 to reach the code for 09:00.
  
  

For reference, the pattern change from 06:00 to 07:00 was +8320. So it isn't the same each hour.

I believe the starting symbols differ each day, and for each campaign, which is why the prewritten symbols online don't work for everyone. You only need the change pattern, not the actual symbols, to reach the one for the next hour.

The easiest way to open the door would be:

1. Take a screenshot and note the current time and symbols on the top, e.g. 08:00.
   
2. After 1 hour, i.e. at 09:00, take another screenshot and note it again.
   
3. Set the symbols at the bottom row to match the ones from your first screenshot.
   
4. Now find out how many times you would need to move the symbols up from the first screenshot to match the second screenshot, e.g. +9304.
   
5. Come back on the following day at 08:00 and move the symbols up +9304.
   
6. Objective success!

I tried this twice and it worked. If you try this, please report back on whether it worked for you or not.

Also, you can map patterns for several hours if you have the time and you might even figure out how the pattern itself changes. That is a bit too deep for me and I will leave it to someone else.
