This guide will help you get the Animal Whisperer achievement but does contain spoilers for an event that takes place in the game. I suggest playing on your own through a couple seasons before using this guide if you don't want anything spoiled!

In case you haven't figured out how to pet the animals, it's easy! Just walk up to them and click their body.

There are 6 types of farm animals, each having different color variations and ages. However to unlock this achievement, you only need to pet one type of each animal. Each of these (along with the pets) can be bought at the Bayley Dairy Farm, with the inventory of animals being sold changing every day.

3 different animals can be adopted as pets. Just like before, only one kind of each animal needs to be pet.

4 types of animals can spawn in the forest or near the waterfall. There is no way to trigger them to spawn, so make sure to check these areas each day. The season in which they appear is random as well.

On the last day of each spring and fall, you'll have the chance to attend the witch's coven. You should receive a letter with details on when and where to meet, and at what time. Once you arrive, there will be 2 types of goats for sale. You do not have to purchase them to pet them!

▶️ Tip: If you do not get an invitation in the mail, level up your relationship with the witch to at least 70%.
