The Furnace

In the back of the Factory you can find the Boiler Room.
Inside this room is the Furnace located.
The Furnace is needed to run every machine inside the Factory.
Make sure it is always turned on and has
enough Fuel to run.

The Furnace consists of the following parts:

  • Furnace
The Furnace is the center piece.
Looking at it will show you info about
the Furnace's condition and the installed Upgarde.

  • Display & Starter
On the Display you can see how much Fuel is left.
Every Bag of Coal adds 3Units of Fuel
    to the Furnace.
To turn on the Oven just Pull the Starter Button
    right below the Display.

  • Door
Open the Door to add some Coal,
The Furnace can hold up to 10 Units of Fuel.

  • Air Flow Vent & Ash Pit(Upgrade)
Located on the Bottom of the Furnace is the Air Flow Vent and
behind this is the Ash Pit.
Open the Flap to increase the air flow and by this raise the Furnace's Power.
The wider it's open the more Pressure is generated
to run machines on a higher Powerlevel.
Keep in mind that an open Vent causes the Fuel to
burn faster and fills the Ash Pit.

  • Pressure Meter
On the left wall inside the Boiling Room is the Presssure-Meter
which displays the Power that is available to use for the machines.

  • Bolts
There are five Bolts on the Furnace:
    • Two on the Pipes left and right of the Furnace
    • One above the Door
    • One on the left next to the Door
    • One between the Flaps of the Air Flow Vent (Upgrade)
Make sure to maintain the Furnace regularly.
Fire the Oven

To power the machines in your Factory you need to
make sure the fire is constantly burning.
In case the Furnace runs out of Fuel or breaks
you need to turn it back on again.

To do this open the Door and add some Coal.
Then pull the Starter to lit the Oven.
Coal

Different Types of Coal add a different amount of Power and Burn Time.
To safe Fuel and run machines on higher Power Level it's
recommended to use higher Level Coal.
There are three Levels of Coal Bags.

Upgrade: Air Flow Ventilation Module

The only Upgrade you can add to the Furnace is the one to
add the Air Flow Vent to it.
This allows you to regulate the Ventilation of the Furnace and
by this increase the Power Output a little.

It also adds the Ash Pit.
Make sure to keep it clean by picking up
the accumulated ashes from behind the Ventilation Flap.
Not doing this can lower the Power Output.
You can clean the Ash Pit as soon as
the Filling Level reaches 10.5%.

The wider open the Ventilation the faster your Fuel will burn and
the more often you need to clean the Ash Pit
Pressure/Power

To run your Machines on different Power Levels you may need
to regulate the Furnaces Output.
You can do this by opening the Ventialion, keep the Ash Pit Clean
and add higher quality Coal to run the Melanger
and Tempering Machhine in Overload modus or even
Crytical Overload Modus.

You can check on the Pressure using the Display.

Below the Main Display of the Pressuer-Meter are four more.
The one next to the stairs shows if the Packing machine is running.
The other three from left to right are for
the Melanger, the Press and the Heater.
