How to Improve Game Performance

Hi, I've discovered that the game installs the PlayStation PC SDK silently, without any popup or message. This program from Sony collects data and causes many performance issues, at least for me and many other users. To fix these performance issues, you just need to uninstall the program and its files. Here's a little tutorial:

Open the Control Panel.
Click on "Uninstall a program."
Search for "PlayStation PC SDK" and uninstall it.
Go to the game folder and delete the following files:
"PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi"
"PsPcSdkRuntimeManager.msi"
"install_pspc_sdk_runtime.bat"
Now you can enjoy the game without Sony's crap software, with fewer crashes and frame drops.

After that, you can try deleting 2 more files from the game folder for better performance. However, this is not very well-tested and might be fixed in a future patch. The 2 files are "dstoragecore.dll" and "dstorage.dll".

on linux (specifically bazzite) just deleting those 3 files improves game performance, game still needs optimisation but it's much better without the files mentioned in the post slowing it down

I did this and it worked but now there's a pop-up every time I start my game saying, "The Playstation(R) PC SDK runtime cannot start because it is missing from your computer." Obviously that makes sense since I deleted it but is there a way to prevent the pop-up? It is quite annoying

@hartleytyler08 Verify your game files XD should do the trick. This sorta works for some people. But i would just wait for patches. Game runs perfectly fine for me though
