Hello and welcome to the Far Cry New Dawn 101% Completion Guide.
This guide covers questionable achievements and in-game challenges that might cause some troubles on your way.

Now, before we start:
- From personal experience it takes around 45 hours to complete everything
- Most of the achievements and challenges are self-explanatory, so I will skip them (if you need a guide on any missing achievement feel free to write in the comments and I will add it)
- Trick your friend into buying this game (just like I did, hi Xacura :D) or find a co-op partner to get 100% achievements ("Have Buddy, Will Travel" achievement), but if you continue playing with them note, that some achievements can be unlocked by HOST ONLY

And now we start!

KNOWN BUGS:
1) Achievements might not pop up if you start the game as an administrator. To fix this, go to Your installation location\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry New Dawn\bin, find .exe, go to it's properties > compatibility and uncheck "always run as administrator" (actually it should be unchecked by default)
2) Achievements might randomly bug out and not pop up, I didn't find the cause, but this bug fixed itself after quitting the game

Honorary Scout
Gather intel 10 times by talking to Wiki-Bean-ia scouts. Host only.
This is the only missable achievement in the game: if you buy all maps or manually find all locations you'll have to start a new game. Now, Bean's scouts are usually any npc's with blue "!" or stash symbol above their heads. The fastest way to get the achievement is to fast travel to Prosperity, talk to the guy near the front gates and repeat

Paladin’s Secret Find Sam Fisher’s outfit in the Government Plane Wreck expedition
Head over to the front part of a crashed plane, in the larger section inside you'll find a laptop on the desk with big screen in front of it, interact with this laptop and you'll see splinter cell easter egg, after big screen turns off - go upstairs and collect Sam's outfit

Before & Audiophile (Host only)
You can buy maps for all collectibles from the Cartography facility in Prosperity




Master Skinner & You're a Catch
Buy all hunting/fishing maps from the Cartography facility in Prosperity. Inventory > For Trade > Pick animal you need > Go to world map (in the bottom right corner). No Admiral this time ^o^


Note 1: Demon Fish and Sharks are related to Master Skinner achievement
Note 2: Some animals can be found in Expeditions ONLY, including: Skunk (Alcatraz, in the cells with yellow doors), Cattle (H.M.S. MacCoubrey, around Lighthouse), Crocodile (if you somehow missed it during Selena's mission you can find it during Government Plane Wreck or Theme Park, around water), Shark (H.M.S. MacCoubrey or Alcatraz. Sharks are in the water, bro, im a shark expert) and Hares dont have specific hunting location, I recommend running around Boatshed near Prosperity

Buzzkill
Kill 10 brawlers with any saw launcher. They never saw it coming.
Brawlers are the shield guys, you can always find around 7 of them in Bonecrusher Pit after completing "Now That's Entertainment" mission. Whatever saw you are using - shoot at the legs, in case of legendary saw launcher with guided saws also don't aim

Good Job, Cap
Kill 5 enemies by throwing a shield at them.
Complete Bonecrusher Pit mission, fast travel back to it, as there is always around 7 brawlers present after the mission, then before dropping into the arena, kill one and break shields of others (also if it's possible damage each of them, because shield might not oneshot in endgame). Repeat until success

Poof!
Use 3 smoke grenades.

What? Huh


Fly, You Fools!
No wings means less drag, right? Take a short flight in the wingless plane.
You unlock wingless plane after recruiting Nick Rye (it is considered a boat, so look for it in Boatsheds). To get the achievement simply throw dynamite in front of you and drive over it. Note, that you won't get achievement if you die in the process.

Anger Management
Eliminate 10 enemies within a single activation of Wrath.
I did this on the Five Star Theme Park expedition rank 3. Go inside, in stealth mark everyone you find, then takedown any sniper you find (as they always stay in some uncomfortable position, like tower), so total number of enemies has to be 8, if less - you missed someone. After confirming 8 enemies - break your stealth (throw some explosives, run around idk, but DO NOT KILL ANYONE YET), after everyone is on you and backup was called - wait for it and mark everyone who arrived (should be 2 by ATV and 2 by car). Now confirm new total amount of enemies exactly 12, then run outside theme park and wait behind the wall (it is needed so everyone on roofs, towers, second floors etc. went down and just everyone got closer to each other), as the first enemy gets close to you - activate wrath and kill everyone in sight. Should be enough. If something goes wrong - restart

Archery Expert
Kill an enemy more than 100m away with a basic arrow.
I just want to note that "Lucky Shot" Compound Bow has a sight with range-finder, but I got this achievement with Blood Dragon Bow, so it's just a question of skill

Get to the Point
Finish off an Enforcer with a bayonet.
Simply craft a weapon with a bayonet, arm it, then after finding any enforcer let him see you, wait a couple of seconds until Eden's Touch or takedown option disappears, then aim for the chest and spam takedown/kick button until bayonet takedown happens. Now, Eden's Touch is a bit bugged and can cause player to constantly make usual knife takedown no matter what you do, to fix this simply get very close to the enforcer and let him throw you to the ground (that makes any usual takedown options unavailable), then just spam with takedown/kick button aiming to the chest

Have Buddy, Will Travel

Probably the hardest one. First, you need to find a friend...

WEAPONS
- Begginer weapons challanges better to do early in the game, because later in the game they deal awfully low damage to enemies you meet
- It's better to throw melee weapons, as it oneshot most enemies
- Use Rocket Launchers to shoot at vehicles, as it deals additional 10000 damage from the vehicle explosion

EXPLORATION
- You need a friend (impossible)
- For "Time Lapse" and "Music Aficionado" challenges refer to "Before & Audiophile (Host only)" achievements in the corresponding section of this guide

KILLS
- For "Deadly Sabotage" challenge remember you can sabotage alarms at outposts
- Strats for each companion:

• Carmina Rye - Help her by damaging her enemies
  
• Pastor Jerome - Unexpectedly he is the best human companion for stealth as he oneshots enemies with buttstock of his shotgun, somehow not setting off an alarms
  
• Nana - Pretty strong companion on her own, but protect her from the enemies with rocket launchers
  
• Gina Guerra - Also pretty good at stealth as Pastor Jerome, just slower. When you unlock infinite ammo for her, stealth wouldn't be necessary
  
• The Judge - Oh my god, It's just crazy how they nerfed my boy Deputy, he is literally USELESS, he can't do ♥♥♥♥... Try to use him in stealth, he needs 2 arrows to kill 3rd rank and like 1/50 chance he remembers that he has a knife for takedowns, but Judge EASILY ruins any stealth for example by deciding to use fire arrows. Have patience, my friends, God is testing us in many ways and Judge definitely one of them. I genuienly believe he's just making fun of Captain, I literally have no other explanation why he so ASS
  
• Hurk - You might actually think he's as useless as Judge, but actually he is one of the strongest companions, no need to try stealth with him or trying to fight with him side-by-side. His main advatage - rocket launcher and to use it he needs space. Best place to farm kills for him is The Pantry outpost, ask him to go on the hill and just run around between enemies and he will do his job, but don't let enemies use mortar
  
• Timber - Best companion, use it from the beginning of the game and by the end you'll have more than 100 kills with him
  
• Horatio - Probably second best companion, no particular strategy needed, he's a tank - he can take a punch and can deal a punch

HUNTING & FISHING
- For all challenges from this list refer to "Master Skinner & You're a Catch" achievements in the corresponding section of this guide

For 101% you have to use all content the game has to offer:
- Clear out all locations and stashes (use Timber for help as he can mark all resources to collect for you)
- Craft every weapon, car, helicopter, boat
- Get all available outfits by liberating outposts over and over again, which is literally the definition of insanity (in the worst scenario you get a piece of outfit every second liberation, so you have to replay all outposts 8 times to get full sets and 16 times The Island outpost specifically, because it has 2 outfits to unlock, but of course you might be very lucky)
- Fully upgrade your companions (40 kills with each GFH). Use strats I mentioned in "Challenges" section
