BRIEFING: Confined environment tips
Commander,

Deployment time is here. While you maintain full control over your squad’s composition and loadout, we have a few tactical suggestions for operations in tight urban zones and confined spaces where maneuverability is limited.

First, assess just how narrow the margin for error is. The thinner it gets, the more you'll need to push your squad’s loadout toward extreme close-quarters engagement — as outlined in our previous guide. Equip your team with short-barreled SMGs and reflex sights to shave off those precious seconds in a firefight. Combat knives are essential for swift neutralizations.

Own the terrain and turn it to your advantage. When clearing buildings such as hospitals, houses, or shopping centers, locate and disable electronic systems to plunge your enemies into darkness. Cameras are a serious threat — having an electronics specialist in your squad is crucial for missions like these.

Every corner, corridor, and doorway could conceal a fatal threat. Beyond a thorough map analysis — The Mall, for example, features a vast exposed area where multiple floors are visible, making verticality a serious threat — leverage every bit of available cover and assess the risk of each door. Could an enemy be positioned there? If so, will you breach hard and fast with a battering ram or a crowbar, clearing the room in seconds? Or will you crack the door open, toss a flashbang, and take the tactical route? The choice is yours.

Stay sharp, operators.

As always, feel free to suggest future guides or even submit your own directly on the game’s Steam page!

See you in the field,
