Intro and how to use
In this guide I will show how each brush works. This is for the current version (2.2.2.0). Older versions and beta version can have different tools, and I will not be covering them.

I will show how they paint on a canvas. On the left of the canvas i will show how a brush full of paint will draw a line. In the center, how it colors a dot. On the right, how it draws a line when low on paint.

I have my canvases set on a high setting. Lowering the setting will affect the textures and make the paint look different.

The Pointed Brushes
All the pointed brushes work the same. A full brush draws a solid line with the beginning of the line starting thinner. They cover fully when coloring. They make short thin lines when low on paint.

Thick Pointed Brush

The first brush is the pointed thick brush. It is one of the first 3 brushes you get to try out.

Thin Pointed Brush

The thin pointed brush works the same way as the thick pointed brush, it's just slightly thinner.

Liner Brush

The liner brush is the thinnest brush in the game. Paints just like the other pointed brushes, but even thinner!

The pointed brushes together

Here they are together for comparison
The Wide Brushes
The wide brushes make thicker lines than the pointer brushes and can be rotated by pressing F to control its direction. While painting, the brush direction changes dynamically with the direction you're drawing. To lock the brush direction you press and hold left click.

The wide brushes draw thick lines with some gaps when full on paint. Colors really well, I notice that edges tend to be fuzzy tho. As you run out of paint the lines become more and more streaky.

Extra Large Flat Brush S3

The largest paint brush you can buy. Unlike smaller wide brushes, the lines stay the same opacity when running low on paint while still leaving streaks.

Wide Flat S2

Medium sized brush. This brush is more textured than the rest of the wide brushes. Instead of even lines it creates more random spots.

Premium Wide Flat S1

Medium sized wide brush, when low on paint the paint loses opacity and leaves streaks.

Thin Flat S0

The smallest wide brush, works exactly like the S1 but thinner.

The comparison
Rollers
Paint Roller

The Paint Roller covers large areas with solid lines. You can change the rotation of the roller with f and the direction stays locked while painting regularly. When low on paint, the lines become spoty.

Texture Roller

This brush can also be called roller with pattern extension. The rotation works the same as the regular roller, It creates a nice texture that is affected by your speed. Painting slowly leaves nice spots, and painting fast leaves dotted lines. The Image above shows the texture on high settings, out of all the brushes I feel like the settings affect this one the most so I will show that too. Below is an example on how it looks on my walls which I leave on a lower setting.

Miscellaneous Brushes
All the other Brushes left, they're all completely different.

Fan Brush

In the shop this one is also called rounded brush. This is a textured brush, so even with full paint it does not make a solid line and is not good for coloring in. Makes nice scratches when full on paint and loses opacity and thickness as it runs out. The rotation of the brush can be changed with f, and locked with left click.

Round Brush

Also called an ultra round brush in the store. This brush makes random subtle blots and streaks while painting and colors in really well. As you run out of paint, it stops making blots and the streaks lose opacity.

Grainer Brush

When full of paint, this brush looks like rows of many lines. As you run out of paint, the number of lines and the opacity decreases. On top you can see that painting fast causes dotted lines.

Feathered Brush

This brush simply leaves a nice feather texture on the canvas.

Sauna Whip

This one isn't really a brush, but its only use is painting so I added it. Makes a nice texture too.

Action Brush

This is my favorite brush; you just throw paint around and make a mess it's great. Unlike other brushes, you use this one to throw the paint. To use it, you hold right click and drag your mouse opposite the direction you want the paint to splatter. The farther back you hold, the longer the paint line gets.
Bye
This is my first guide! Thanks for checking it out :) I will make a guide for the rest of the tools soon.
