Achievement Guide for Go for a Perfect!

Achievement Overview
Name: Go for a Perfect!
Game: Dreams of Aether
Description: Beat a rhythmic boss without missing a beat.

Directional Clarity
The minigames never use the same controls as the rhythm game. If the rhythm section relies on directional arrows, the minigame will use controller buttons/Z-X, and vice versa. Occasionally, a movement-based minigame may appear if it involves two directions excluded by the rhythm controls. Pay attention to the control differences—keeping this in mind can help reduce confusion in intense moments.

No Penalty Outside of Rhythm
Pressing buttons outside the rhythm game's timing won't penalize you—so don't stress about accidental inputs! Feel free to focus on clearing the minigame tasks without worrying about disrupting the rhythm section.

Memorization Matters
Rhythm game buttons are always consistent—memorizing them will give you an edge. During the initial rhythm-only phase, pay close attention to the button sequence. This same sequence reappears in the combined rhythm and minigame section later.
  • Practice until the sequence feels second nature; this way, you’ll have the rhythm locked down while tackling minigames

Conclusion
With these tips in mind, remember, calm and focus and are your allies. Now go and show them what perfection looks like!

It's so stupid and annoying how the controls on the minigames can actually screw the rhythm.

That needs to be revised.
