Originally created by Pymous in Dominions 4 (please support him ! https://ko-fi.com/pymous ), I ported and modded for my personal game during the release on Dominions 5 and play with one of the best mod Hellenika make by ÆtherNomad. Now I modernize and ported it to Dominions 6.

First and foremost all credits for this mod go to Pymous, if it weren't him I won't be able to play this mod, thank you!
And thanks for his permission for me to modded and ported it to Dominions 6! And thanks ÆtherNomad and Sturm since most of the modding command I am learning through their dm file. Thanks sombre for his Dominions 6 Workshop Mods: A Creator's Guide tho, it really helps a lot and explain a lot of stuff. And thanks iancho's for me to shamelessly copy your workshop description & format (I like those cute goblin tho).

Disclaimer: This is not the original Dominions 4 Project Omniomicon Plavendel mod, since it's been heavily modify by me and a lot of things have been changed.

This mod adds a new playable nation for the Mid Age, a nation about a giant space rock fall from sky that make people die and turn into something else.

It's never mean to be balanced and never will be since it's purely for my single player game. But if you like the zombie rebirth nation theme, maybe give it a try!

All sprites credit goes to Pymous. (No talent for me to create those amazing sprites)

What is this nation about? Description:

A strange and silent doom fell upon the province of Endel the day a massive celestial object crashed from the heavens. Where it struck, the land fractured, and a pale blue radiance began to seep into the soil. In the days that followed, people and beasts alike began to weaken—first in body, then in spirit. Their skin faded into lifeless shades of blue, and their vitality drained away. Only the plants remained untouched. Death came swiftly, and the province emptied.

Then, one morning, a woman long buried returned to her village—changed, her eyes lit with strange fire. She was the first of the Blue Ones. From that moment onward, death in Endel no longer meant finality. Resurrection had begun.
Thus were born the Plavendels, a people reborn beneath the gaze of the Celestial Artifact—also known as the Eye of Radyacin. Though they retained the memories of their former lives, the Blue Ones were different: solemn, withdrawn, their bodies slowed in age by the strange vitality of the Blue Gift.

At first, they lived in hiding near the Artifact's crater, surviving in silence. But over time, their numbers grew. Around the great fallen stone they built temples and towers of sacred alloy, glowing faintly in the night. Their cult became a faith, and their faith a society.

Today, the Plavendels are no longer a forgotten remnant. They are a rising power, offering resurrection through the Blue Gift—at a price. Nobles and kings now send emissaries to Endel, hoping to buy a second life.

To the Plavendels, death is not the end. It is the beginning. And the Eye of Radyacin watches all.

Gameplay mechanic:

You are HIGHLY RECOMMEND to take the half death bless since all the blues are sacred. Since it's a free spawn nation, you will gain a lot of troops and if you don't take this bless your troop will go starve easily.

All your blue unit/commander can inflict blue gift (TWO attack that can cause disease) to the enemy, but that's not all! After they successfully inflict the gift, they also inflict blue blindness(TWO attack that can cause lost an eye but mr negates easily) to enemy! So since all your blue unit/commander is blind and disease immune, it will only effect your enemy!

For those who fail to resurrect as blue, they turn into something else -- soulless plavendel (zombie). They are the unit which serve as meat shield/fodder and when they bite, they also inflict blue gift and blindness to the enemy. Also when they die they will cause disease explosion (aoe 1) to the nearest friends or foes. There is also a sacred zombie unit (Spreader) which the whole purpose is to die to cause big disease explosion to spread the disease to the enemy.

Free spawn mechanic:

Your capital will spawn some free blue and zombie units as long as there is positive dominions. Outside your capital as long as you own the province, all your province will spawn the zombie units.

Now here is your core free spawn commander unit: Shining Blue. When you fully control a province, and it has a temple, lab and fort and Shining Blue present, there is chance to spawn a new site called "Plavendel Glowing Sphere" that spread disease. As long as the site is on and he is present in your province, he will always spawn some free blue and zombie units. Also you can use the make monster command to spawn 3 random blue units. But that's just icing on the cake. When he preach, he can spawn EVEN MORE free blue and zombie units!

Updated: Now Plavendel Glowing Sphere site is able to spawn when dominion candle is five and above, each candle grant 3% chances for the site to spawn. But Shining Blue commander is guarantee to spawn the site when fully control a province, and it has a temple, lab and fort.

But beware! The "Plavendel Glowing Sphere" site can be destroy if the enemy fully control your province! It also grant them some astral gems when they destroy the site.

The blue renovator also can spawn some zombie unit when he present in your province and "Plavendel Glowing Sphere" site, he's also have a very small chance to spawn blue units. It's just more for my flavour thing and rarely use as a core free spawn mechanic.

No effort has been made to avoid IDs used by other mods though.(I lied)

Thanks man, the original mod is made by Pymous, I just help to modify and port it to dom 6. Be sure to check out other map created by him also!

Yea i did some tweaking which made it manageable. Love the theme of this mod by the way. The sprites also look like they totally belong in the game and they are great as well. I could see this being a faction in the actual game since its lovecraft themed like the starspawn. Colour out of space just fits this game so well.

When there is large army size the game will go lag, nothing much I can do. Maybe try to downgrade the graphic.

Is it just me or do certain mods not run very well. This mod as an example makes my game lag. When im in the army screen trying to move units around it becomes almost impossible to double click on units to select them all because the whole game starts lagging. Only seems to be certain nation mods that do this.

Hmm... It's seem that is the original code I didn't change. But yeah I can alter it to the standard bow strength #halfstr later.
