Note #1
As soon as you gain control of Naomi, turn right and walk forward while keeping your eyes on the right side of the road. You'll quickly spot a note pasted on the back of a street sign. Make sure you interact with and read each note. You have to read all 5 in a single playthrough.












Note #2
From the previous note, keep walking a few more feet while looking to the right, and you'll spot the next note near a bush.












Note #3
Continue on to find the next note on the left side of the street, across from a large mirror.












Note #4
The next one will be on the right, just under a street sign.












Note #5
The final note will be at the end of the path. Impossible to miss.















Elysium Fragment #1
After the previous note, backtrack until you reach the Red Lantern. Don't go inside. Instead, look behind the sign on the left to find the fragment.















Elysium Fragment #2
Again, don't enter the Red Lantern just yet. Continue past it, backtracking towards where you started the game. Keep your eyes on the right side of the road and you should spot the next piece one a stone wall.












Story related. This will unlock after entering the Red Lantern and watching the cutscene.



Story related. This will unlock after interacting with the crib in the street and talking to Erika for the first time.



Semi-story related. Both of these are earned after entering the Moonlight Karaoke, depending on what choice you make. Whichever option you choose on your first playthrough, simply choose the opposite on your next.



Elysium Fragment #3
As soon as you start the little retro section, exit through the doors to the yard and cut across it. Open the next set of doors and a little scene will play out with your mother scolding you. After she's done, turn left and go past the stairs to spot an open door leading back outside. Go down the wooden stairs, then turn right and follow the building all the way around to the backside. Once the trail ends, you can find the piece on a large bush to the left.












Elysium Fragment #4
After either completing the retro section or leaving it through the main gates where Fragment #3 is, you'll wake up in the karaoke place. Go to the front of the building and check behind the registers to find the next piece.












After leaving the karaoke, you'll run into Erika again. Simply let her stab you to death 11 times total.



Story related. This will unlock after escaping Erika.

Elysium Fragment #5
After running through the street for a while, you'll have to enter a liquor store. Just past the first bottle you need to drink on the right will be the fragment.












Story related. This will unlock after finding and approaching the building.



Elysium Fragment #6
The final fragment is found just outside the temple doors, on the fence directly across from the red candle.












After collecting the 6th piece, press escape to bring up the pause menu and you'll notice a flickering white symbol on the right side of your screen. Click it, then click play.



After returning to street level, a scene will play introducing this enemy. Simply let it kill you.



While being chased by the Gashadokuro, you'll need to collect a candle of each color to unseal the temple doors. After grabbing a candle, keep sprinting without stopping, and it will eventually blow out.



Story related. Light any of the 4 temple candles with the appropriate color.






After lighting all 4 candles and unsealing the temple doors, do NOT enter it just yet. Instead, go back down to the street and keep circling it, keeping an eye on the light poles. Eventually, one of them will have the mask hanging from it. Collect it.












Story related. This will unlock during the end credits.



This will unlock during the end credits. In order to earn this, you need to ensure no candles blow out during the Gashadokuro section. My best advice is to only sprint a few feet, then stop and wait for Naomi to cover the flame with her hand. Rinse and repeat as you transport the candles.



This might sound difficult, but it's actually very easy. There are 3 major sections you need to be aware of.

• The ghost woman in the retro section is by far the easiest enemy to take damage from, but she's also extremely easy to loop, even in small rooms. I got caught in a bathroom with her and was able to squeeze by without taking a hit. Keep track of her location and have a good idea of what rooms you're going into before you commit to going inside them. Always try to keep a loopable path nearby. If you're struggling with this section, I've read that the dev has confirmed you can skip it with no consequence. In order to do so, locate the large wooden gates outside of the house in the daytime world and interact with them.
  
• Erika's section is very easy. Simply run from her and she'll never be able to catch up.
  
• Finally, the Gashadokuro's section. This section is also very easy, even when combined with the "Light Keeper" achievement, but the Gashadokuro can spawn under your feet. As long as you don't get caught off guard and hesitate, you should always have enough time to run past it spawning or turn around and run the other way.
