Introduction
Herro!
This guide is for those who is trying to score 100% on weapon builds, whether you’re new to the game or just want to get perfect score.
You don't necessarily need 100% score to proceed in the game, but it has an effect on how well your warrior’s fight. Better weapon = better fight = more blueprints of epic weapon designs.

If you’ve got better methods or some ideas you want to add, please do share it in the comments. I hope this guide is helpful. I’ll keep updating the guide if I find something useful to add.

Shortcuts
  • M - Info Menu
  • I - Inventory Menu
  • B - Bestiary Menu
  • D - Design Menu
  • H - Help Menu

  • ← key - Goes back to Counter
  • ↑↓ key - is to change pages of weapon parts

  • Key 1 – 6 activates different types of cannonballs
Smelting
Making the customer wait don't have any effect on your score, it only effects on how much currency you get at the end of the day.

Pumping
If dragging up and down gets tedious, just make a circle motion to pump it.

Pouring
Look at the V-shaped tip on the crucible when you pour. the melted liquid is colored in 3 colors, you need to be somewhere in the middle. I don’t think pouring too slow has any effect on how good the weapon will turn out, as long as you don't pour too fast.

  • The top = dark orange (pours slowly, but still good)
  • Middle = orange (perfect)
  • Bottom = light orange (too fast)

Turning OFF Forge Chain [easy-to-drag] in the settings, makes pouring (slower) easier to control. I haven't noticed it affecting anything else in the game other than that.
Swords
Hammering
Your hammering score depends on how much you manage to cover the edge of the sword. Aim for the actual metal edge, not the black outline, and try to not overlap your hammer hits too close.

  • If the distance between the hit’s is difficult, you can try starting from the top and work your way to one of the edges. This helps you get a feel of how much apart the hits should be.

  • To hit more symmetrically just HIT, move straight down (to the opposite side) and place the next hit. It's not a must, to have it symmetrically, but it looks nice.

  • Pop-ups like "great" or "good" may appear during hammering, those are visual hallucinations, not useful, throw them away. You can get max score even though only a couple pop-up shows up.

Longsword

Gladiator

Falchion
Guard
Eyeball these
No guide needed here, just place the pointy middle part at the lightest line on the sword.

How to place the rest of the guards
Grip
The perfect geometrical solution to everything is in between "i" and "e”
I use the space between "i" and "e" in the word "view" (at the top of the screen) as a middle point for almost everything in this game, and soon you will too.

Guideline I
Look for the lightest part at the bottom of the grip. Then line that up with
the center highlight on the weapon’s pole ( the middle light stripe on the pole).

Guideline II
Place the lightest part at the top of the grip. Line it up so that the highlighted parts fits exactly under “v” and “e” in the word “view”.
Cap
This doesn’t need much explaining.

TAKE NOTE:
that most of the weapons are zoomed in differently. The swords and Bows are zoomed in much closer than other weapons. And you can drag caps and grips higher up with axe and mace, but not with spears.

need help?
Instead of trying to align it between "view" you can try to align the Right bottom cap to the start of "W" in the word "Weapons". (Under "e" for sword's).

Caps without pointy tops
Bows
Stretching
with your cursor, drag the Right side to the yellow X. When dragging the other side, remember to fully pull it all the way to the other side. If you dag too fast, it will often not be fully stretched!

Construction
Arrow-heads
  • I use the "view" for pointy arrow heads, but place it normally for arrow-heads like the bomb. The middle light stripe on the pole should match the middle of the arrow-head's light sections.
  • You can still use “view” as shown on the 3rd picture.

Feathers
  • For the feathers I usually drag them way up so I can see the bottom. Then put the middle feather in the middle using “view”.
  • For feathers with no visible middle line, you could place them normally.
  • Or line the light square inner-section of the wood, using “view” as shown in the 4th picture. The lines should be under “v” and under the start of the letter“W”

Shields
Painting
  • Don't paint too fast but also not too slow.
  • You get a bigger paint circle when you go slow, but a tiny circle if you go too fast.
  • Paint up down, side to side or circle it in/out, just don't click the colors in, it's just doesn’t work

Construction
By using the red "BACK" button and the holy power of between “ i and e”, we have our guide lines.

Pointed shield
If that's too far away or difficult you can find the middle line by looking at the shields outer corner. Pointed shield, look for the “ / “ (ops notice that the line goes under to the left but in the middle to the right).

Round shield
For the other shields, you can find the middle by looking at the different colors on the inside of the outer shield.
Box shield
Shield emblems
Here is the middle part of each emblem. There’s two ways to place it. The difference is just the distance you have to drag it.

Using the shields outer corners
  • Find out where the emblems middle is (by looking at the picture above).
  • Find the shields middle by looking at its outer corner.
  • Then line the two up.

Using the BACK button
  • Find out where the emblems middle is.
  • From the red button you can place the emblems middle next to the buttons “>”.
  • Then drag it as straight as you can to the shields middle.

Axe
Construction
You can use the axe tip to guide you. Look at the diagonal lines on every axe and try to align it with the axe tip on each side. This is my best solution, you could also learn the background of the sandbox and pin point where exactly the axe pieces need to be, but yeah... no.

Double Axe

Broad Axe

Dragon Axe
Spears
Hammering
This is not very difficult after you memorized where to hit. The septum and trident needs to be hit in the middle of their blades. You do the same for Moonblades side blades, but hit the top part like, you would a sword.

Septum

Trident

Moonblade

Mace
Pegged Mace
After picking up a peg, drag the first 7 pegs to the positions shown in the picture below. (You can use the same method for the spiked mace too, but not for the battle mace).

Next
Next look for the shades and shadows. I've made them more visible on the left in the pictures bellow. Use the shade as a guide for where to place the pegs.
  1. Make sure peg one is placed so both the highlights and the pegs tops are aligned.
  2. Peg two is placed in between two shades.
  3. For peg three, make sure that the bottom of the peg is placed at the end of shade 3.

Spiked Mace
  1. Put all 7 spikes on, like you would with the pegs.
  2. When placing the next 3 spikes, make sure that their tip is placed just under the bottom of the last spikes you placed.
  3. Place the 2 spikes you have left using the shades on the ball like you have done with the pegged Mace above.

Battle Mace
  1. Place 5 spikes on the lines around the ball, and make sure that their middle aligns.
  2. Place the next 5 in between the spikes you've already put down. Make sure to place them a couple further behind the lines, so that it’s more in the middle.

    3. Place the last spike in the middle, it will snap to either a diamond or a square.

Thank you

I didn't plan to make a guide for this game, but since it had many similar mechanics to the papa games, I quite enjoyed it and wanted to help out my kin scratch that 100% score itch. If you have any questions, feel free to comment about it. The artwork was done by me, other pictures are from the game (some edited by me). I love the papa games to the moon and back, and hope they revive more games.

See you in the next guide!

wow! thx mate, nicely detailed guide, finally, a dream came true. Back then when it came out on Kongregate i found myself a few times coming back to this great game after so many years even though flash and & or unitygames were supposedly ''dead''. Never was able to finish it only came to crafting all of the 1tier weapons. i keep my hopes up for a sequel and maybe also some other useful tipps. :AOESheep::AOESheep::AOESheep::DSTchest::steamthumbsup:
