"If you sense the "locals" presence, hide. Try not to be seen, especially not in the light. Don't worry about your ship, the riverbed is free from any barriers near their nests. If you are lucky, the tender stream will eventually get you through their territory. Maybe. But don't be surprised if they give you some bite marks to your ship in return for your little visit. And whatever you do, even if they see you, don't hop onto the shore. You'd be surprised how far they can reach out from the shallows. I once even seen an unlucky guy who wanted to climb onto a tree in a panic. Lets just say, there's a big chunk of that tree that is missing since then. But this was a long time ago. Even so, don't be that stubborn to go out during the night. And if you'd do it even after hearing all these. Don't lead any of em back here with you. Because you will find out, that even our community can be as welcoming, as theirs.
