Pre-Release Inspired Subway Car

Description

The pre-release subway car was completely different texture wise, with a few model differences like lower poly back and front lights. The subway car seen in pre-release uses a ton of Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2 Leak textures. In any case, this is a somewhat accurate rendition of the original subway car with some liberties taken like higher quality wheel textures straight from the Diesel model on de_train, plus some misc model fixes to said wheels.

I say somewhat, because while it does technically exist in CS:GO on Overpass... the model is flipped, there's no interior, and the textures are also all flipped. So I attempted to complete the texture work using the orignal textures used (Or at least textures that looked close enough.)

Unfortunately the one thing I wish I could fix, I can't, and that's the lighting of the model in retail. I assume the roofing is pitch black due to Valve using Vertex Lighting in the maps. Another inaccuracy I could fix in the retail maps is that someone at Valve decided to rotate the end door models 180 degrees in the maps themselves, so the labels and door handles are on the incorrect sides compared to pre-release. However for online compatibility I'm leaving it the same as changing it would mean I'd have to change the gibs too, resulting in buggy physics.

Also for whatever reason, in the files of Left 4 Dead 2 there's subway car door gibs named the same as the first game, however if you decompile them or view them in HLMV, you'll see the texture names are completely different. If you view them in Blender, you'll see the UVs are completely different. So this entire time since Left 4 Dead 1 got added to Left 4 Dead 2, the old subway car door UVs and texture names have been sitting in the files.

Also incase you were wondering, some of the texture-work on the subway car comes from this site!

This includes a replacement for the Fairfield Terror campaign, as always you just change the loading order of your add-ons for it to work!
