✅ Method 1: Unlock the framerate-Nexus Mod

About this mod
Unlocks the FPS and lets you set a custom FPS limit (default is 300 FPS).
Requirements:
Turn off vsync or any other graphics card setting that may lock the FPS: https://github.com/uberhalit/EldenRingFpsUnlockAndMore?tab=readme-ov-file#follow-these-steps-on-nvidia-see-below-for-gsync (the mod on the linked page is not mine).
Download Elden Mod Loader which will automatically load the mod on startup.
If you're having issues, try putting the game into borderless windowed in the game graphics options.


Installation:
Place the contents of "UnlockTheFps.zip" inside your game folder, for example: "G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\".

The mod loader will launch the mod when the game starts.

Configuring the FPS limit:
Edit the limit value inside "mods\UnlockTheFps\config.ini".


✅ Method 2: Use a Mod Loader (Optional)
To load more advanced tweaks:

Download ModEngine 2- https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2

Place the FPS unlock mod in the correct mod/ folder.

Launch the game using launchmod_eldenring.bat


⚠️ Optional (Disable V-Sync)
You can also disable V-Sync to get variable framerate:

Open: %appdata%\EldenRing\<your ID>\GraphicsConfig.xml
Find: <vSync>On</vSync>
Change to:<vSync>Off</vSync>


⚠️ Don't Use This Online
If you’re playing online, don’t use FPS unlockers or mods—it could result in a softban. Use them offline only (with Steam set to offline or via launch options like -offline)


🎮 Extra Tips for Performance
Enable DLSS or FSR (if using relevant GPU).

Lower Volumetric Quality and Shadow Quality.

Keep motion blur and depth of field off.

Update GPU drivers (NVIDIA/AMD).
