In this guide I will explain how to transfer a savefile to a friend, just in case you need someone else to host.

Your savegame should be located in .../AppData/LocalLow/TVGS/Schedule I. Open the "saves" folder, open the numbered folder (your steam ID) and find the savegame you want to transfer.

Folders will be named SaveGame_1, SaveGame_2, etc. Zip up the folder and send it to whichever person is going to host instead of you.

Also, in preparation for the next step, copy and paste your Steam ID somewhere. (It's the same as the numbered folder your save was in.)

Send the zipped save to the new host. The new host should unzip the save and put it in the same place as Step 1, but on their machine.

If they already have a save folder that has the same name as the one you're transferring, feel free to rename the transferred save's folder it to the next possible slot. (So if the new host already has 3 save files, name the folder SaveGame_4)

Finally, if the host would now launch the game, they would play as whomever originally made the server. We can fix that.

In the save folder, open the "Players" folder. Copy the ID number from step one and rename the Player_0 folder to Player_IDNUMBER. (It will look just like the other player numbers that are in the folder. The amount of other folders should match the amount of people that have connected to the server before, it's just data on their character.)

Next, the host should check the number of their save file location and check which player number in that folder matches theirs exactly. Change that folders name to Player_0. Now the new host and the previous host's character will have successfully changed places in the games logic.

You are now ready to play. Check with your friends if everything went smoothly and you can now keep playing the game.
