Heavy Bomber Variant Here!

The C-260 "Ibis" Cargo Shuttle is the rock-solid backbone of any interstellar empire. Ikuyo Aerospace, foremost a heavy manufacturing conglomerate, created the Ibis to transport ore, hydrogen gas, and assembled components to and from the most remote parts of the galaxy. Now widely proliferated owing to its low cost, large cargo capacity and ease of manufacture, Ikuyo Aerospace is offering you a limited chance to acquire your own Ibis today suitable for tasks ranging from drug smuggling to organ harvesting (probably some legal activities too). Fly yours today!

Armament
  • None in Stock Configuration: The Ibis can be easily retrofitted to carry weapons, but none have been added in this basic configuration.

Features
  • All Planets and Moons: Capable of flying on all atmospheric planets up to 5G.
  • Customizable Systems: The C-260 is packed with almost every AI block, event controller, timer or programmable block a pilot could want. It's easily configurable to be anything from an automated cargo shuttle to a rather large anti-ship missile. The Ibis is capable of adapting payloads 5x5x10 small grid blocks by removing the two large cargo containers.
  • Large Cargo Capacity: The C-260 is capable of holding over 32,000L of cargo within its two containers and capable of carrying in excess of 150 tons of cargo to and from orbit.
  • Low Cost, Long Range: The Ibis is dirt-cheap to manufacture and bare-bones. Don't let the hydrogen fool you, the two powerful turbofans enable almost limitless atmospheric flight with payload, and when tanks and batteries run dry, simply fill back up with water-ice to recharge and refuel using the Ikuyo Aerospace patented over-unity hydrogen generation system.
  • Survivable Design: Featuring auxiliary batteries, thrusters, and self-repair projectors, the C-260 is a veritable tank. Minor bumps, rough landings and small-arms fire won't ruin your day.
  • Survival Ready: Fully plumbed and survival ready. Printable by virtually any welder array, including those in the previous line of Ikuyo Aerospace destroyers.

Datasheet
  • PCU: 2,548
  • Block Count: 505
  • Non-Armor Blocks: 177
  • Triangles: 362,806
  • Grid Mass: 39,429kg
  • Lifting Capacity: >150,000 kg in 1G.

Scripts
No scripts are included by default, but two programmable blocks, three event controllers, a timer, broadcast controller and action relay and all AI blocks have been left for end-user customization.

DLCs and Redistribution
This ship is vanilla but makes use of quite a lot of the DLC blocks for minor functionality. It should be relatively easy to reproduce using non-DLC blocks.

Special Credits and Notes
The UV-119 is a tremendously capable little craft and I'm shocked just how much use I've gotten out of it at this point. The C-260 is a bit of a larger cousin, designed foremost for the transport of goods to and from orbit (something the UV-119 never excelled at). I did my best to make it relatively customizable and I've got a few variants in the works that spin it up as a heavy bomber.
