• You can control the ship from the seat in the command bridge. Use the WSAD keys to steer the ship, and the logic gates (arranged like arrows) show how the engine room is working.
  
• You can control the main artillery from the so-called Main Artillery Plotting Room (you can find it on the room plan). The artillery uses the DADAS system, which takes a moment to learn but is very simple and efficient.
  Keybinds:
  
  • LMB - Fire; RMB - Activate DADAS;
    
  • 1,2 - Cameras;
    
  • 3 - Ammo type switch;
    
  • 4 - Turret camera tracking;
    
  • 5 - Rangefinder camera tracking;

• Anti-aircraft defense is controlled from AA directors.

Abandoning the design concepts introduced with the Grunwald-class, CravatClan has returned to the triple-triple artillery layout—three turrets with three guns each—familiar from the Vanguard-type battleships (specifically the OCvC Paweł subtype). The BS8 project, known as the Colossus class, features some of the most compact and compressed battleships ever built. Surprisingly short, they are smaller in overall size than the newest battlecruisers, such as the J. Piłsudski.

However, despite their size, they carry nine 421 mm guns equipped with a semi-automatic loading system, allowing for a full reload in just over 20 seconds. Compared to their predecessor (BS7), these new battleships are outfitted with significantly enhanced secondary and anti-aircraft weaponry. Additionally, they are equipped for operations involving deck-based aircraft.

Unfortunately, these ships are heavily limited by CravatClan’s military doctrine and serve only as flagships or heavy coastal bombardment gunboats - despite their capabilities, they were never intended to fight in ship-to-ship combat.

The name Colossus evokes immense power and dominance, reflecting the ship’s imposing presence and its role as a symbol of overwhelming naval strength. Inspired by ancient monuments and legends, it embodies a force too great to ignore.

As the name suggests, Lite ships are built with simplified details, making the entire vessel lighter and easier to render. This significantly improves performance. Despite the lighter design, Lite ships will retain full functionality and external appearance.
