Chapter I: "Completionist" Achievement
This chapter will list only the secret areas that have been officially tagged as secrets, thus counting towards the goal for the Completionist achievement.

The guide is laid out in the natural progressive order of the game's narrative. I advise you to hunt for the secrets in this order, as a few of the key areas of the game get locked out at specific points of the game, possibly locking your save game out from the achievement.
Area 1: Front Base (1/16)
For the game's very first secret towards the Completionist achievement, this one is pretty vague right off the bat.

Secret 1: Barracks (Completionist 1/16)

When entering the Front Base from the secret stairwell from Town, instead of going straight towards Macil, take a left turn and enter the Barracks.

The left side of the elevator (when viewed from the top entrance) has a faux wall that you can walk through.

Enter the elevator and start pushing towards the wall while the elevator is moving, and you'll end up in a secret sector.

A view from behind the secret wall, overlooking the elevator and entrance down to the Barracks. There's a second elevator on the wall to the left (right side of the screenshot) in a small alcove. It activates alongside the main elevator, so if you miss your time window, just use the main elevator and the smaller elevator will also start moving.

In case the smaller elevator goes up instead of going down to the secret, just hit the button at the top and wait until it goes all the way down.

The secret sector at the bottom of the secondary elevator, containing a few necessities for the player. The Poison Bolts especially will come handy so early on in the game.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • 25 Gold
  • Poison Bolts
  • Medical Kit

Both the secret itself and the secondary elevator sectors have buttons to activate the elevators in case you find yourself locked in. Exit back to the main hall of the Front Base and go put your newly acquired items to use.
Area 2: Town (2/16)
After talking to Macil for the first time and acquiring the key, head to the Governor's Mansion in the Town area.

Secret 2: Mansion (Completionist 2/16)
Right after riding the elevator in the Mansion, there's a secret wall to the left between the two torches.

Use it to open up a secret room.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Ammo
  • 25 Gold
Area 3: Prison (3/16)
The prison has a lot of smaller rooms connected by a multitude of corridors, yet the level holds very little in the fashion of secrets. There's one, however, that is counted towards the Completionist achievement.

Secret 3: The Altar Secret (Completionist 3/16)
When entering Judge Wolenick's chambers, there's an altar between the two entrances. Go behind the altar and move the skull lever to reveal a secret entrance to a prison cell.

After hitting the switch, go back towards the entrance to the room, and on the second alcove to your left, a hidden passage has opened, revealing health items within.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Medical Kit ×2
  • Poison Bolts
  • Leather Armor
Area 4: Power Station (4/16 and 5/16)
The Power Station gives two secrets for the price of one, sadly they both are of poor quality. Note that before claiming these secrets, you should first get the How Hard Can It Be? Achievement, as these require you to trigger the alarm.

Alternatively, you can skip this section of the map entirely by using the secret entrance and getting the two additional secrets mentioned in Chapter II of this guide instead.

Secrets 4 & 5: Waterfalls (Completionist 4/16 and 5/16)
The Reactor Core's entrance hall holds two raising bridges with waterfalls in the south corners of the room. Both of them contain secrets that become accessible after triggering the alarm.

Enter through the green security gate labeled "1" to trigger the alarm and take a step back. The waterfalls on both of your sides will now open, revealing the secrets and Sentinels.

Return to the waterfalls and walk right past them to reveal the secrets.

Items Contained Within the Left Secret:
  • Clip of Bullets ×3

Items Contained Within the Right Secret:
  • Med Patch
Area 5: Sewers (6/16)
After visiting the Castle and draining the reclamation tank, you enter the Sewer a second time from an alternate entrance where a secret awaits to be claimed.

Secret 6: Sewer (Completionist 6/16)
After raising the water level to reach the Gate Controls room, you're greeted by a huge machine that is comprised of four large pillars.

Enter under the structure and go to the center of it. The back pillar wall opens up from its right side panel.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Energy Pack
  • Ammo
  • Medical Kit
Area 6: Audience Chamber (7/16 to 9/16)
However small the Audience Chamber is, it holds a huge number of secrets comparison to the other areas of the game.

Secret 7: Throne (Completionist 7/16)
When entering the Audience Chamber, walk straight without taking any turns and you'll find the throne.

The back rest of the throne opens up and reveals a small secret room. Walk on the throne and press use to open the secret door. Inside, you find only a handful of items, but the secret has some quality items to offer instead.

If the Throne secret is locked, you need to get the Silver Key from the "Programmer" further down in the chambers.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • 50 Gold
  • Ammo Satchel
  • Poison Bolts

Secret 8: Bed (Completionist 8/16)
Upon reaching the inner chambers, there's a fancy looking room with a king sized bed which holds a secret.

If you jump on the small crate to the left of the bed, half of the bed will lower down and reveal a small secret room.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Surgery Kit
  • Shadow Armor

Exit and continue onwards within the "programmer's" chambers.

Secret 9: Electronic Panel (Completionist 9/16)
In the room filled with monitors and electronics, press use on the left tip of the "U" shaped control panel in the middle of the room to reveal one of the game's most rewarding secret areas.

When you enter the secret from either side, there's a faux wall in the middle with a Stalker waiting to ambush you.

Contained Within the Secret:
  • Grenade Launcher
  • Surgery Kit
  • Medical Kit ×2
  • Energy Pack
  • Targeter
  • Poison Bolts
Area 7: Programmer's Keep (10/16)
This one is a bit of a pain, since the first boss of the game is guarding it, but with a bit of perseverance, the achievement stands closer.

Secret 10: Temple Walls (Completionist 10/16)
When you enter the outside area where the boss awaits, you must climb the staircase of the temple to reach the secret.

Since each step requires a jump, it's advised to beckon the boss towards the entrance of the Keep to give you some extra time. Though with some luck, it's possible to scale the stairs without taking any damage even with the boss in the room.

After you've reached the top, head right and go to the right corner at the other end of the temple where you'll see a large sandstone pillar.

Hit use on the pillar and it'll lower down, revealing a secret room.

Just remember to enter the secret room before killing the boss, since this map becomes unavailable afterwards.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Metal Armor
  • Ammo
  • Medical Kit ×2
Area 8: Abandoned Front Base (11/16)
After killing the Programmer, the Front moves their base to the ruins of the Castle, leaving their own hidden base near the Town desolate. Head back there through the Town to find a few more secrets.

Secret 11: Barracks Elevator (Completionist 11/16)
Heed the very first part of this guide, and enter through the illusionary wall in the elevator leading to the Barracks to enter the secret one last time.

Since we raided this secret already, and the Front packed almost everything with them, there's not much left here. But regardless, it counts towards the achievement.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Ammo
Area 8: Borderlands (12/16)
The secondary hub in the game, Borderlands, holds a few interesting structures and secrets.

Secret 12: Waterfall (Completionist 12/16)
In the central hub area, there's a waterfall that holds some secret items, though the entrance to the secret lies futher away from it.

Walk to the castle door, and jump on the switch that opens the door. Carefully trail the hedge alongside the castle walls towards to the left.

When you walk to the corner of the castle on top of the hedge, a switch will reveal itself to you, allowing passage to the waterfall secret upon pressing it.

Enter through the newly opened passage to trigger the secret.

It's also possible to get on top of the waterfall by jumping to it from the two near bushes, although this way it's not possible to trigger the secret sector for the achievement so I'd advise against it.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Mini Missiles ×4
  • Med Patch
  • Medical Kit
  • Energy Pack
Area 9: The Bailey (13/16)
The huge Castle of the Order, The Bailey, holds a secret that's not very secretive, but nevertheless, adds towards the achievement goal for the Completionist Achievement.

Secret 13: The Pillar (Completionist 13/16)
When in the Bailey, head to the eastern part of the map and look for the Security Complex. A ventilation shaft runs through the building north-to-south, and is accessible from both directions by jumping onto crates and then into the vent. To the north, circling past the water pipes, lies the easier jump, but you can choose to jump from south as well if you so desire.

Take the only turn and hit the switch to drain the water. This will reveal a passage to a teleporter.

Although the area with the Metal Armor won't count towards the achievement, it's still a welcome item.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Metal Armor

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • HE-Grenade Rounds
  • Energy Pack
  • 50 Gold ×2
  • Ammo
  • Shadow Armor
  • Surgery Kit

Now this is the meat of the secret, a hefty amount of high quality items, possibly preparing you for something to come? This sector also counts towards the secret, coming up to the total of 12 so far.

Press use on the door in front of you when you teleport in (or the wall with the different texture), to get out.
Area 10: Catacomb: Ruined Temple (14/16)
A showdown happens in these nicely laid out temple ruins, which also host a secret area with a trap.

Secret 14: Temple Courtyard (Completionist 14/16)
Navigate to the north area of the map to a complex fountain structure, and you'll see alcoves in the walls.

Face west and choose the third alcove. Push it and a secret is revealed.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Clip of Bullets
  • Surgery Kit
  • Mini Missiles ×3
Area 11: Conversion Chapel (15/16 and 16/16)
The Conversion Chapel holds the last two secrets for the Completionist achievement, with some nice goodies inside as well.

Secret 15: Conversion Machine Right Side (Completionist 15/16)
When you're in the computer room of the Conversion Chapel to shut down the conversion machine, there's a switch to the immediate right of its power switch.

Hit it to start a sequence of switches to reveal the secrets.

Now make your way towards the right-hand side of the room, walk under the conveyor belt and go behind the huge pipes, you should see newly opened panel, revealing a blue alcove with a switch inside.

Hitting that switch opens up two secrets, both of which count towards the Completionist achivement.

The first one is right next to the switch, which opens up a metal immediate to the right of the switch, revealing a Dark Forcesque room with four green pillars inside.

Hit yet another switch on the opposite end of the room to open up a wall in the middle, revealing the first of the secrets as well as unlocking the way to the second one.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Surgery Kit ×2
  • Medical Kit ×2
  • 50 Gold ×2

This is just the preamble to the real secret, waiting on the opposite side of the conversion room. Head back out, under the conveyor belt and speed across the room to the opposite side, go under the conveyor belt and take a right turn.

Secret 16: Conversion Machine Left Side (Completionist 16/16)
In roughly the same mirrored position in the conversion room, a metal pillar has lifted aside, revealing a pipe system. You're stopped by a brown block, but hitting use on it will lower it, allowing access to a corridor just behind.

Enter the corridor to make your way towards the secret. There are two Medical Kits on the way as bonus.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • 25 Gold ×2
  • Poison Bolts
  • HE-Grenade Rounds ×2
  • Ammo
  • Medical Kit ×3
  • Med Patch ×2
  • Mauler

Sans the final form of The Sigil, you now have access to the last weapon in the game as well as what you really came here for...

Congratulations!
Chapter II: Overachieving ★
Now this one is a weird beast. In addition to the 16 required secrets, there are additional secrets that count towards the Completionist achievement. I was able to check this by purposefully keeping my secrets count lower than required for the achievement for the duration of making this guide.
Area 12: Factory: Manufacturing (17/16)
Here's the first of the additional secrets that count towards the Completionist achievement that you can get.

Secret 17: Factory: Manufacturing (17/16)
Inside the Manufacturing building of the Factory, roam about, and after you've killed the Inquisitor, hit the switch to open up the path to the left side of the room (as well as release the two Crusaders), you find a single Order worker.

Just right of the worker, there's a turret, destroy it, and you can open up the rightmost panel just under it, revealing a teleporter to the secret.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Surgery Kit
  • Medical Kit ×2
  • Energy Pack
  • Crate of Missiles
  • Phosphorus-Grenade Rounds

For whatever reason Night Dive Studios might have overlooked it, this secret also counts towards the achievement.

This also means that if you missed out a single secret earlier, it's still possible to get the achievement with this secret.
Area 13: The Lab (18/16)
The Lab contains yet another secret that goes beyond the initial 16 required for the Completionist achievement.

Secret 18: Faux Monitor (Completionist 18/16)
There's a round platform elevator on the right hand side of the large open area where you fight the Loremaster. Ride the elevator up to the top and head straight forward to a computer room with the Loremaster's servant inside.

There's a huge glass monitor on the opposite end of the room, break it down and just walk through to reveal a secret area.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Mini Missiles ×3
  • Phosphorus-Grenade Rounds
  • Medical Kit ×2
Chapter III: Other Secrets
This chapter will list any other secret areas in the game that are either hard to find, hard to reach or are otherwise rewarding.

Some of these might be a bit more obvious than others, but I'm listing everything that might be considered a secret even slightly for completion's sake.
Area 1: Town
While the Town acts as a larger main central hub of the game, it's very lacking in secrets. Although it has a particularly nice one for starting players.

Secret 1: Armory
Entering the Armory

In the Town map, you can enter the Armory's back rooms via an alcove on the left side of the building.

Take a running jump and carefully drop down to the hole to enter the back rooms of the store to acquire some free loot early in the game.

Downstairs

The first half of this secret holds some armor and health for you to peruse. The elevator on the right that leads to the store is inaccessible, but you can enter the elevator on the left to enter the second floor.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Leather Armor
  • Med Patch
Upstairs

Upstairs, you can find some extra ammunition, medical tools and some gold to get you started.

There's a winding staircase that goes to the store front, but it's locked up for a reason, namely to stop the players from killing the shop owners.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Clip of Bullets
  • Medical Kit
  • 50 Gold
You can exit the secret through either the window on the second floor or the window downstairs, just remember to hit it with your Punch Dagger in order not to raise an alarm in the whole Town area, which can potentially ruin your game.
Area 2: Front Base
The Front Base has a hefty secret for being one of the first areas in the game.

Secret 1: Hidden Corridor
As you enter the Front Base, look between the two stacks of crates to your immediate right. Push use on the wall between them to open up a secret corridor that holds a few items within.

The corridor loops around and you can open up the wall at the other end, coming out between the other stacks of crates.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Energy Pod ×2
  • Medical Kit

When you get the Silver Key from the false Programmer in the Audience Chamber, a secret wall will open up next to where the Medical Kit is, revealing a secondary secret passage.

Note that you can enter this corridor from its opposite exit without the Silver Key, just turn right before Macil's room and press use on the Front banner on the wall to open the secret passage.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Medical Kit ×2

There's also another secret room within this corridor. Assuming you enter from the secret wall on the right, press use on the wall on to your left before you take the turn towards the Energy Pods, and a secret room will open up. Besides the bed and an apparent lack of any items, there's yet another secret wall to the left at the end of the bed, revealing... absolutely nothing.

Once you reach this area later on in the game as Abandoned Front Base, they will have re-filled the secrets with some additional items.
Area 4: Power Station
The Power Station might seem rather expansive at first glance, but the many rooms and tight corridors spare only a few secrets.

Secret 1: The Pit
Although not exactly a secret, this one is easy to miss in the midst of the action. After pressing the switch to lower the stairs to the pit, hug the left wall and go around the circular contraption in the alcove to find a button.

After hitting the switch, head forwards to the left and a platform will have lowered down near the end of the pit.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Ammo ×2
  • Med Patch

Secrets 2 and 3
These next two secrets can be reached by two different ways, depending on if you're after the How Hard Can It Be? Achievement or not. Either by getting the Power 1 Key from Worner and using the secret entrance in the water outside the Warehouse, or getting the Power 2 Key from a Technician (near the southwestern corner of the map where you unlock the elevator that loops back to the security gate #1).

Regardless, you should have access to a small side area in the north of the Power Station with a Technician next to a water pump in the middle of the path. Hit the switch to lower the water levels and proceed through the door right up the steps (or take the secret entrance if you don't have the key.

Secret 2: Access Tunnel
When in the side area (past the Power 2 door or the secret pathway from outside), walk down the three steps to a small area with two pillars housing electronics.

There's a plain metal panel on the wall that's actually a secret door. Hit use on it and enter the tunnel.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Medical Kit ×2
  • Clip of Bullets ×3
  • Med Patch ×2

Take the elevator up and kill the Sentinel in your way to reveal another corridor with a few items in it.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Environmental Suit
  • Clip of Bullets ×2

Assuming you pressed the switch to lower the water levels, there's a small drop that takes you down to the Reactor Core. The drop is an elevator that sometimes is stuck in the up position, not letting you in unless you have the key to the Reactor Core.

Secret 3: Warehouse Weapons Stash
Return back to the area with the secret access tunnel to the Reactor Core, but instead of taking the three steps down, there is a larger staircase leading down to a Technician talking about a weapons stash near large green monitor.

Killing him yields you the Gold Key, which can be used back in the Warehouse by the water.

Entering here also opens up the pillar behind the Technician, revealing a Sentinel and some goodies.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Crate of Missiles
  • Medical Kit

With the Gold Key in hand, trail the steps back up, turn right and take the secret exit back outside, enter the Warehouse and go to the southern side (closest to the Town) to find a walkway blocked with a laser alarm.

Jump over the laser alarm trigger, use the key on the scanner on the wall and you can enter the weapons locker with three sections.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Med Patch ×3
  • Medical Kit ×2
  • Leather Armor
  • Energy Pod
  • Energy Pack
  • Ammo
  • Crate of Missiles ×2
  • Mini Missile Launcher ×2
Area 5: Sewer
The Sewer has many winding pathways and is riddled with toxic waste, so health items and environmental suits come handy. Luckily there's no shortage of supply of those here.

Secret 1: Hidden Room
Right after entering the Sewer from the Town by falling down at the Sewer Overflow Gate, turn around.

The wall that was behind you opens up upon pressing use on it.

The secret room reveals a few medical items, which come in handy in the sewage waste you'll be walking in throughout the level.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Environmental Suit
  • Medical Kit ×2
  • Med Patch ×2
Area ?: Castle: Programmer's Keep
After you hit the skull lever behind the altar and step down the lowering ladders, enter the cavern filled with corpses to your immediate left.

Walk all the way down, and you'll see four small stone steps opposite of the steps that lead you back up. Jump on the third one and use the wall to the south to reveal some items.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Surgery Kit
  • Crate of Missiles
Area ?: New Front Base
The New Front Base reveals a few new items that weren't on the Castle map.

Secret 1: Under the Rubble
After defeating the Programmer. Head towards the big building in the middle of the map. One of the rooms on the south side has completely collapsed and hides a few secret items within.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • 50 Gold
  • Clip of Bullets ×2
  • Poison Bolts
  • Phosphorus-Grenade Rounds
Area ?: Abandoned Front Base
Here's a weird one. The same secret from the original Front Base still exists in the Abandoned Front Base. Not only it has the items it previously had, someone went in and added a few new items to it.

Secret 1: Hidden Corridor
As per usual, when you enter the Abandoned Front Base from Town, push use on the wall between the first (or second) stack of crates on your immediate right, and a secret corridor will open up.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Energy Pod ×2
  • Medical Kit

While the first corridor contains the usual items as before, the secret bedroom now has some extra items inside. Push use on the inside corner before taking the turn towards the Energy Pods, and the secret will open up.

The second hidden wall inside the bedroom stays empty still.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Shadow Armor
  • Ammo Satchel

A second passage will open up once you enter where the Energy Pods are, revealing a handful of more items than before.

You can enter this section from where the Front banner used to be if you want, as well.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Phosphorus-Grenade Rounds ×2
  • Targeter
  • Medical Kit ×3
  • 25 Gold ×4
  • 50 Gold ×2

Note that while you're in here, you can pick up a Medical Kit and a Med Patch at the Medic, a Medical Kit in the control room with the monitors below where Macil used to be, Clip of Bullets ×5 down at the Barracks in addition to the Barracks elevator secret, mentioned in the Achievement portion of this guide.
Area ?: Borderlands
Borderlands has a few secrets, though nothing very good in terms of hidden content.

Secrets 1 & 2: Castle Corners
When entering the Borderlands and criss-crossing the trailing path to a bridge, you'll see a large castle just past the bridge.

Get across, there are secrets behind both corners of the castle.

Follow the castle wall to the left to find a small alcove with a tree and some items.

Items Contained Within the Left Side Secret:
  • Energy Pod
  • Med Patch

Similarly on the right side, there is a tree and some items.

Items Contained Within the Right Side Secret:
  • Med Patch ×2

Secret 3: Hidden Passage
In the chamber that has the door to The Temple of the Oracle there is a unlit torch on the wooden pillar on the left.

Press use on the pillar to drain water from a pond on your left..

This will reveal a secret corridor with two routes. Taking a right will allow you to enter The Temple of the Oracle from an alternate entrance, also unlocking the option to traverse back from there as well.

Taking a left will reveal a teleporter that takes you back to the cavern to a previous area. Teleporting in will also reveal a second secret on the opposite ledge

Secret 4: Guard Posts
Inside the castle walls in Borderlands, the two metallic guard outposts have large square metal pillars in their corners which can be opened.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Medical Kit
Area ?: The Bailey
The Order's huge castle is comprised of a great many of buildings, yet only has a few secrets inside.

Secret 1: Teleporter
In the north-west corner of The Bailey, head up the stairs leading to the Bishop's Tower and you'll end up between two huge sandstone pillars.

The left one is of interest to us here. Circle around the left pillar and press use on the alcove that's facing the hedge wall to the west to reveal a secret.

Upon pressing the alcove's face, the four alcoves will open up, revealing a teleporter inside.

Stepping onto the teleporter will take you to a ledge on the Security Complex (on the eastern side of the map) with a few goodies waiting to be taken.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Leather Armor
  • Clip of Bullets ×2
  • Med Patch ×3
Area ?: Security Complex

  • Medical Kit
  • Med Patch ×2
  • Ammo
  • Phosphorus-Grenade Rounds

Secret 2: Monitors
Yet another see-through monitor secret makes an appearance. This time there are two, and they are in the northmost part of the Security Complex.

Walk to the south side of the room to enter a lift that lowers you to a secretive area with a few medical kits. Note that on the west side of the large room, there's a similar secret room with additional items.

To the east you'll see two pipes, walk behind them and use the wall to reveal a secret teleporter, enter it to receive your reward.

Items Contained Within the North-West Secret:
  • Shadow Armor
  • Poison Bolts

There's a seemingly empty room with two windows, that has metal grates on the ceiling with water dripping down from them. If you walk through the doorway of the stairs just below, you open a secret passage in the room.

Enter the room and the teleporter inside, and you'll be teleported to the guard tower nearby.

The switch lowers a red pillar in the middle of this area. Stand in the middle of the glowing platform to open the wall panel where the switch we just threw used to be.

Route your way back up to the small room to find a secret area.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Scanner
  • Grenade Launcher
Chapter IV: "Trust No One" Secrets
This chapter comprises of all the secrets in the Trust No One demo version of the game that's also included in The Veteran Edition.

These do not count towards any achievement nor trigger messages when found, but I'm including them for completion's sake.
Area 1: Town
The Town hub of Strife, although mostly the same, has received some minor changes in the full version of the game, so you can find a few new interesting secrets in this demo version of the game.

Secret 1: Faux Elevator Wall
Right at the start, there's a wall next to the exit from the Sanctuary that has a faux wall on it.

Walk right through it to reveal a secret room.

The secret room is an elevator which you can use to get back up if you fall in the poison water on the passage to the Borderlands. Though this is inaccessible in this demo version.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Med Patch ×2

Secret 2: Armory
The same classic secret that is in the full version exists in the demo as well, though it has a bit more "oomph" to its contents, namely the early access to the Poison Bolts.

As in the full version, go to the left of Armory store, and take a running jump into the hole in the wall to enter the secret room.

You can use the window on the left to exit early, or enter the left elevator for more items.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Clip of Bullets
  • Leather Armor
  • Medical Kit
  • Med Patch

  • 25 Gold
  • Poison Bolts
Area 2: Movement Base
The Front Base, or as called in the demo, Movement Base, has mostly the same contents as in the retail game.

Secret 1: Barracks Elevator
This secret is identical to the one in the full version, with the exception that the demo one does not have the 25 Gold inside.

When you enter the base, follow the left path from the teleport and enter the Barracks. While taking the elevator down, walk towards the left wall to enter through the illusionary wall into the secret.

Items Contained Within the Secret:
  • Medical Kit
  • Poison Bolts
Conclusion and closing words
Please be respectful and do not copy this guide anywhere without my explicit permission. This is a lot of work to do and I have put a lot of hours into this to make sure you guys can enjoy a comprehensive guide to the secrets of Strife.

This is still work in progress so I'm up for suggestions.

Thanks and shoutouts to chedap, KUBA18i and WhereIsBusmin.

Thanks.

Going through this guide now, and it looks like Manufacturing actually has 2 official secrets now. The post-Inquisitor one is the second of the 2. The first one is very close to the beginning.

After killing the enemies in the first big room, go through either of the two big doors across from the entrance to the room and head right to a series of what looks like control panels on the walls. The rightmost one has one of those yellow/black-striped switches, and this switch opens up one of the panels on the other side of this part of the room, containing Shadow Armor and a Surgery Kit.

Hey, I've been really busy with work so it kind of got stuck in the back burner. I'll need to find my saves to jump straight into the area.

Hi, were you able to find the secret areas?

Hey cool, I'll get some coffee going on and check these out in a moment.

The 3A-B images show a place with many useful objects that could perhaps slip away on a first run to the final boss.
The 4A-B images show a rather secret area (but not marked as such) full of many useful objects to face the final boss. To reach it you have to make precise jumps on the collapsed pylons, and if you touch the bottom you die instantly. Once you reach the left side just interact with one of the alien windows and a passage will open.
There is perhaps at least one other secret area, probably in Factory: Manufacturing, but I haven't been able to find it yet.

Hi, I finally had time to look for some secret areas that I remembered, and here is what I found.

The 1A-B images show what should be an official secret area, although it should be verified. To open it there should be a switch to press nearby.
Picture 2 shows the place where I am sure I saw the wall open, revealing a secret area. I only saw it one time and I never understood how it happened, but I know that for some reason the wall hadn't closed when I went to the next area just before the final boss, and I was able to go back and find that secret area.

Cool. Yeah I need to find my saves too so I can confirm everything and take screenshots. Please do let me know when you have time to check!

Great, I played more than a year ago now, so I don't remember exactly every detail, but I'll try to investigate in the next few days. I'm sure there's at least one other big secret in the last level.

I'll update it if I come up with any new secrets. I didn't check the Factory: Manufacturing one yet since I'm unsure where it was.
