I noticed that a very small portion of the players have unlocked this achievement, so I decided to try and help those who may find it a bit difficult.

Video, Roadmap and Tips

Contents

Step 1 - 0:00
Step 2 - 8:45
Step 3 - 31:25
Step 4 - 34:50
Step 5 - 52:35

Roadmap and tips

  • Step 1 (0:00) - Gain intel for all of the Captains.
Note: Recommended duration for this step is 5 to 7 min.
From the tower that you spawn in, locate the enemies to your left and use them to collect information about the Captains.

Tips
- Use Shadow Strike (Bow Aim + Z) to teleport to the enemies and save time.
- Once there are no enemies close, use fast travel to the same tower to reset the uruks.
- If the enemies are two, collect intel from the enemy that is not stunned by the Shadow Strike. That way the stunned one can't interrupt your animation.
- If either the enemies or the slaves can provide intel for a Warchief (they have an icon above their head if they can), use that to uncover Warchiefs until you locate Ugakuga as he is crucial later on.

  • Step 2 (8:45) - Summon a Graug and use him to eat as many Captains as possible.
Note: Recommmended duration for this step is 14 to 17 min. Start within the 7-min mark or earlier.
Go to the Graug summon point (location at 8:45). Once the Graug comes, use Shadow Mount on him, open the Captains map and try to memorize it. Decide what direction you should proceed in from the point you are at for the best time efficiency. Then locate the Captains and feed them to the Graug (RMB). You need a minimum of 10, but eat as many as possible since this is the fastest way to kill them.

Tips
- After you collect intel from the enemies, use Shadow Mount on a Caragor that's right below the enemies' location. Use it to travel to the Graug's summon point (as shown at 8:45) and kill the mounted Caragor (Shift + E) for points.
- If there are 3 Caragors, kill two (Shadow Mount then Kill Mount) and use the third one to travel to the Graug's summon point. This will earn you some extra points.
- Make sure you pick the most efficient route possible.
- If a Captain has fear of Graugs and tries to run away, try to catch him or kill him without the Graug, but don't let him escape.
- Try to eat the Captains before their dialogue cutscene has started as during it the timer is not paused.
- Try to leave the north-west fortress for last as the Captains there are often in places the Graug can't reach.
- If you can't reach a Captain with the Graug, unmount it and kill the Captain yourself. If you've killed most Captains and only unreachable ones remain, kill the Graug (Shift + E) for points and proceed.
- If you haven't revealed Ugakuga's location yet, use some of the unreachable Captains as intel to reveal the Warchief.
- If you can't find a Captain around his location, don't waste time on him as I do at 20:20 (unless you're really sure you have plenty of time). You will kill the Captain later on using a Branded Warchief.
- Don't leave too many Captains for later. Try to kill as many as possible as you will have to deal with some that are at special events such as duels or feasts.

  • Step 3 (31:25) - Draw Ugakuga out and Brand him.
Note: Recommended duration for this step is 2 to 3 min. Start within the 25-min mark or earlier.
Go to Ugakuga's location and complete the trial required to draw him out of his fortress. Kill his bodyguards if he has any and fight him until his health is so low that he falls on his knees and you are given the choice of finishing him off or Branding him. Brand him and command him to challenge another Warchief.

Tips
- Be careful with finishers and combos. Remember that you need to leave Ugakuga at low health to Brand him. Try not to kill him beforehand.
- I find it easy to jump over him and use the quick strikes followed by two finishers to take most of his health.

  • Step 4 (34:50) - Use your Branded Ugakuga to challenge other Warchiefs and the remaining Captains.
Note: Recommended duration for this step is 10 to 13 min. Start within the 28-min mark or earlier.
Challenge the other Warchiefs and the remaining Captains using your branded Ugakuga by commanding him to draw them to a duel. Find the icon on the map and use the fast travel to get there quickly. Do this until there are no more enemy Warchiefs or Captains.

Tips
- Always try to help your branded Ugakuga by killing the enemy uruks and, if possible, the enemy Captain or Warchief himself.
- Shagflak Ghul Keeper Warchief is immune resistant to almost all of your attacks so you're better off taking out his supporters and letting your Branded team kill him. Note that the AI can sometimes be stupid and it can take a long time for them to kill him. Try to provoke them to fight if you see that they are stuck just taunting each other.
- After each fight, command your Branded Ugakuga and THEN dispose of the ordinary ally uruks (simply press K) for extra points.
- Use fast travel to get to the duel locations quickly.
- If while walking around you see a Graug or a Caragor and you think you might be short of points, kill them with Shadow Mount and Mount Kill. However, make sure this doesn't take much time. It's usually best to leave it for last.

  • Step 5 (52:35) - Dispose of Ugakuga and his followers.
Note: This takes about 5 seconds. Do this at the 39-min mark or earlier.
After all the enemy Warchiefs and Captains have been killed, press K to dispose of Ugakuga and the other ally uruks. With this, you will have completed the mission.

Tips
- Make sure you have at least 11,000 pts before you dispose of Ugakuga and his supporters.
- You can instantly press/mash K after you kill the last enemy Warchief/Captain in case you need to squeeze these extra seconds.
- If you have time, but your points are less than 11,000 pts, try to find Caragors around or if you can't see any, fast travel to the initial tower and kill the ones mentioned in Step 1.

That's all from me. If you need any extra help or have questions, feel free to ask in the comments below. I will be updating the roadmap and tips based on the feedback and your experiences--if necessary.

HUGE THANKS to Roose91 from trueachievements.com for his tips and videos. He helped me immensely with this and the whole idea is his and his alone. The video above is simply my version/spin/take on his idea with small differences and additions.

Well, I just did it in 31:25, so it's really just about lucky spawns, how long it takes you to grab the captain out of a group of 10 Uruks, very few of the captains got to talk, also my Ugakuga demolished Shagflak in like 2 combos.. It all stacks up. Thanks for the guide!

I don't think the achievement is particularly difficult, but to have the timer running during every cutscene of an orc talking is just demented. God forbid I don't manage to knock some captain down before I eat him with a graug, that's like 10-15 seconds based on how long his stupid voiceline is.
