Little info

All upgardes are in the past. You can activate 8 upgrades during storyline. For the last one you have to go back to Southen Passage with Scorpion or Water sword. Just check the images below to be sure you will not miss any.

Fortress Entrance

Place where you killed Crow Master in the present.
Jump over stairs barrier and roll all the way. Also you can back later and slow down time if you suck.

Sacrificial Altar

After deafiting Shandee go to the altar and move it and doors will open.

Central Hall

Turn lever to the entrance of the Hourglass Chamber and go down to the doors.

Garden

Garden Waterworks

Place where you use lever to activate water in Garden Tower.

Activation Room

Stand near broken wall at your left and wait until Brute (golem) throw beast at you to destroy the wall.

Prison

It's last chamber in prison before you'll get to the library. Use Scorpion Sword to destroy the walls. Activate wall button, slow down time and go to the second cell.

Library

Ending of the library. You can't miss these two octagonal terraces.

Southern Passage

Move lever in Central Hall to the opposide side of the Hourglass Chamber entrance. Climb up on the balcony and go to the Southern Passage. Climb up (just like you did for the first time) to the balcony with broken gate. Destroy gate, move box and go up for the last upgrade.

Water Sword

After activating all upgrades you'll get access to Water Sword in Hourglass Chamber which allows you to finish the game in "good way". Also finishing game with Water Sword unlocks Ilustrations in Extra Features.

Wallpapers

I was collecting PoP:WW images for my desktop wallpaper slideshow and I thought adding quote from the game to the image is a good idea. i set 5 wallpapers to change every 24 hours and i would like to share this with you. so i just added the text to every image, execpt one called Warrior Within - i made this one

Thank you. You eased my little journey to nostalgic times, it's been 15 years since I finished this game for the first time on the PS2.

in that watery part with all the rotating mechanisms isnt there like this switch thingy besides which opens the door??

I'm trying to get the Activation Room upgrade by backtracking, but I'm blocked by a closed door in the Mechanical Pit. The door is open in this walkthrough below, at the 16:23 mark, but not for me. So I don't know if my game is bugged or if it's just impossible to backtrack there once you're at the point where you can go and fight Kaileena a second time and end the game).

If you go back for the golem life upgrade you more than likely will have to perform rrg glitch to get past the unbroken wall

do you get to keep the water sword the whol;e game, even if empress gives you the scorpion sword? idk how but i unlocked water sword early?? so i was wondering if i get given another sword will it replace water sword and can i pick it back up before second empress fight?

Yep, for the garden one, the last chance is before sandwraith, the door is closed, in the timeline of the game, you haven't opened it yet.

Also, in the Altar, you can manage to take the life upgrade, but can't backtrack to the throne room. The only way out is folowing ahead and take a passage where is a Dahaka chase, but this passage is glitched and you can't enter it.
