Types Of Strikes,Blocking,and Feinting.
There are 3 types of strikes that take place in the game,if you have played Chivalry you will know each individual strike.

1.The slash, this is your very average left-click attack.Use this when strafing or to punish when your opponent misses a strike, dont use in a group fight with friends you will be able to hit them and make them wanna kick you butt ontop of your shoulders.

2.The stab, scroll your middle mouse button upward to do.This attack should be used when your opponent has backed up or is trying to.Ideal for group fights because it does not ark.

3.The overhead, this attack is pointless at the moment. It is slow, but same as the stab ideal in group fights.Use this attack whenever you feel like not doing a stab.Scroll down on mouse wheel to perform,it gets you a head hit and can be used backwards.

And now blocking, blocking in this game is kinda wonky. You do not have to be looking at the tip of your opponents sword in order to block;just look in their general direction and you should be fine. Most people are going to constantly flurry at you so when you block, you can get a hit in.Blocking is done by using the right mouse button.

Last but not least feinting, feinting is done by pressing right click during an attack and it will cancel any moves that are being done, this is used to make your opponent block early.Doing this will result in a free hit from you.
Foot work and Jumping
Dodging is going to be ideal when you are more out of range, dont use it when up close. To dodge simply back up if its a slash and jump,if its any other attack unless you are out of range step to the side.

Ducking under and jumping over strikes is very risky. You might not want to crouch at the moment because crouching dosent get you very close to the ground.Jump over your opponents strike when they are aiming for your feet.
What Body Part should I hit?
This is going to be the last section of my guide.

Head:Aim for it if they have no head gear, often is a quicker way to end a fight rather than body shots.

Chest:Aim for this if they are evenly matched in gear, this dosent count for weapons.

Legs:Aim for this when your opponent runs often or dodges.

this is like the most shit advice in reign ever ducking is the most op strat there is and the badage bush strat is also higly effect aswell as poke only or a drag scroll hammer one hit. my advice if your new just use the jump and a halbard after a while if you really want to become good start trying to duck pratice your poking strats and make sure you always go for the head nothing else

too bad this game is so laggy and shitty that all combat is (unless you're cheating) is just pure violence and luck, dont even bother to block because half of the time it wont even work.
