Very Short MK9 Guide About Online Multiplayer LAG Reduction
Hello. This is a very short guide that will tell you how to reduce Mortal Kombat 9 online lags.

LAGS/SPIKE LAGS:
I found rooms with 20 people or more a little lagged. Just ask your enemy to switch the room to empty one or invite him by private match option.

SLOWMOTION:
Be sure that BOTH players have enough ingame FPS. Just lower your graphics settings (and you also should tell your opponent to do that) and then try again.

EMPTY ROOMS:
Change your region setting to Russia for example.

HIGH DELAY:
Unfortunately nothing much you can do there. Just be sure that you are not downloading anything on all of your PCs, laptops, phones etc.

I hope it helps.

You need to go to steam settings (not game settings).

Yeah I read that Russia fixed the problem, and it did. Sort of. Anyway, thanks for the guide!

I wrote this guide few days ago. Umm.. and I don't have problems with empty rooms but I heard about this problem (and I had this problem in different game from the same developer [Injustice] but it happened only sometimes). You should try to switch your region and graphic settings (the second one fixed my in Injustice - LOL)

Wait, did you create this guide in 2015? Every room is always at 0 for me. Is that a connection problem on my side or am I just signing on at the wrong time?

Yeah, lol. Unfortunately the rooms with many people really do some spike lags. They should just limit the every single room to 20 ppl - it would help alot but I dont even think they will do any even super-small patch to MK9 anymore. Now when I'm playing in room with many people I just always quit after the first game (if my opponent clicks "PLAY AGAIN") and then I ask my opponent about switching the room to empty one.

"20 people or more..." yeah i wish that was my problem, too many people in a room.
