But about Glacier Shot it's written in the description that the shot hits ALL targets along it's path, creating ice shards from each impact, which could be powerful using it against tight pack of enemies.
But Seekermatons are just too good to go without them. That guaranteed critical hit (60% above normal limits) is simply too good.
Poison is a circular AoE that leaves a cloud behind that poisons enemies.
Glacier is a single target hit that creates 5 shards auto-aimed at nearby enemies. While the range is basically the same, you are limtied to 5 shards, therefore 6 enemies hit at most.
Scatterblast is a cone attack where the shots hit and pass through with reduced firepower. Out of the three, Scatterblast has the biggest chance to deal most damage (and it also has the highest base damage of the three).
But the damage reduction element is a problem, because Poison deals full damage in the whole circle + damage over time, while scatterblast deals only the direct damage and the farthest enemy ranks won't feel the power.
Also notice that Scatterblast has a cooldown just like Precision Shot, therefore a Scatterblast oriented hunter should be using Cooldown Reduction instead. I'm sure it's pretty viable, I just didn't use it ;)
But the skills recommended in the guide sadly confirm what I was afraid of.
I was afraid that a fearless-able build would require the use of Seekermatons. And I don't like them because they give inconsistent bonus (they cast their debuffs over some enemies, but the other enemies around aren't debuffed, which is inconsistent IMO).
The other thing is that I was hoping to see build using the ScatterBlast skill and sadly the attacking skills recommended in the guide are the starting skills.
At the end the guide confirmed my suspicion that the Bounty Hunter class doesn't give opportunity for play-style analogous to that of the Occult Hunter from VH2 specialized in combination of Exploding Scattershot and Glacier Blast.
But anyway, very good guide, thanks!
