Realm decay is the name given to the system that causes realms to dissapear from the overworld map after a set time. A realm's decay time depends on how many blocks have been built inside it.

When a realm decays, the castle deed is returned to it's owner's inventory, along with it's castle stamp if one was used.

How long a realm lasts before it decays depends on how "built up" it is. The more blocks you've built in a realm, the longer it stays on the overworld map until it decays. Realm decay timers will reset as long as the owner visits the realm.

Realm Decay can be bypassed to allow the realm owner to move their castles where they want, whenever they want. To get your castle to decay instantly, follow these steps:

1. Enter your realm, and go to the Escape Menu. Click the tab labeled "Realm Setup"











2. Set "Who can visit this realm?" to "Only Me"











3. Leave your realm and return to the overworld.











4. Logout of Cubic Castles, and wait for about five minutes. Enjoy a cup of warm tea while you wait.









5. Log back in.


If you have followed these steps correctly, your castle deed (and castle stamp, if one was used) should be in your inventory. Your realm will have dissapeared from the overworld, and you will be able to move it to a more desirable spot.
