The Walker
Scientific Name:
Boxus Wanderus

Appearence:
A box. With legs.

Commonly found in:
-Combat epicenters
-All over
-Blatant areas

Desc.
This is the most common Box Spy out there. These Spies take pride in their ability to mingle with both teams and walk around peacefully (or die trying). Rarely do these Box Spies ever attempt to hide or blend in with the map, making them prone to tryhards and noobs. They also tend to squat down in range of an enemy sentry, which induces the well-known box-sentry exploit, where the sentry shoots above the box tirelessly until someone does something or it runs out of ammo.
The Stealthy Box
Scientific Name:
Boxus Commandus

Appearence:
A cardboard box. Without legs.

Commonly Found In:
-Corners
-Edges of maps
-Nearby crates and other passive map items (barrels, pallets, etc)

Description:
The complete opposite of the Walker, this Box Spy is dedicated to remaining hidden and unnoticed, normally for the pleasure of simply being unseen, or simply being a box. Remember that the Stealthy Box is not a fighter, but it is passive like the Walker, simply striving to be a box and nothing else. They rarely use voice commands in order to conceal their position, save for the occasional chuckle.

Sub-Species 1: The Pop-and-Drop
This Box Spy reaches a location it wants to hide in by cloaking to the point, uncloaking, and quickly throwing on his box before anyone notices. This is usually the most successful (and easy) method of being a Stealthy Box.

Sub-Species 2: The Trekker
This Box Spy is far more daring than the Pop-and-Drop, throwing his box on as soon as he steps out of spawn. This Spy moves only when no one is looking as it progresses to a point of comfortable stealth. Naturally, it is killed constantly, struggling to move in time to an unnoticeable position.
The Point Box
Scientific Name:
Boxus Capturus

Appearence:
A box that moves from objective to objective.

Commonly Found Near:
-Control Points
-Enemy Intel
-Payload Carts
-Australium Cases
-Reactor Cores
-Lil' Chew Chew

Description:
This is the first level of an active Box Spy, meaning they are trying to accomplish something a normal player would do. The Point Box works to:
A. Hold/capture control points by sitting in a corner on them
B. Capture intelligence/australium cases/reactor cores
C.Hold/capture payload carts/Lil' Chew Chew
They may fight, but that would mean getting out of their box so it is not very common. This Box Spy is killed by almost everyone, casuals and tryhards alike, due to their efforts to make the other team lose.

Additionally, a Box Spy who captures the intel deserves a medal. No exceptions.
The Assassin Box
Scientific Name:
Boxus Murderus

Appearence:
A quick to jump up Box Spy who attempts to kill the enemy

Commonly Found Near:
-Snipers
-Battlements
-Vantage Points/cliffs
-Corners by a spawn door
-Chokepoints

Description:
This is where Box Tryharding becomes relevant. The Assassin Box is a simple, but surprisingly difficult idea: Hide as a box and kill unsuspecting enemies who walk by. The Assassin Box tends to take the strategy of the Stealthy Box a step further, lashing out at any worthy passerby.
This Box Spy, if smart enough, knows to prioritise slow and support classes such as Sniper, Medic and Heavy, as most other classes will run by too fast and leave the Box Spy standing out in the open like an idiot. This is where it gets hard, because of the slow de-boxing animation. Nonetheless, though, beware the Assassin Box.

Sub-species 1: The Predator Box
Discovered By:
Ragox
(This species has been further investigated and modified as necessary, props nonetheless to the discoverer!)

Scientific Name:
Boxus Rapax

Appearance:
A Box who has watched one two many Discovery Channel Nature Documentaries

Commonly found near:
-The Enemy Base
-Sniper Battlements
-On enemy corpses

Description:
This species of Box Spy is a branch of the Assassin Box species, this Box Spy species hunts down its prey, then comes out of their box to attack and kill their prey, then they retreat into their box and move over their corpses, making it look like it's eating its freshly-killed prey.
Although rather harmless to most, they can be dangerous when encountered alone.
This species of Box Spy is easily recognizable by the constant messages of them hunting their prey and saying that they need to be fed, acting in almost a feral manner, killing for self-preservation. There is no reasoning with a Predator Box.
The Herd Box
Scientific Name:
Boxus Crowdus

Appearence:
Many, many, walking, shouting boxes

Commonly Found Near:
-All over
-Less visited areas of the map (for safety)

Description:
The Herd Box is not one box, but many. The Herd congregates as more and more Box Spies deploy together and move together, commonly spouting unintelligable voice commands at each other and scaring the living daylights out of Snipers who happen to be nearby. Nontheless, the Herd is completely peaceful, and only confuses an enemy.
The Fire-Retardant Box
Scientific Name:
Boxus Icicus

Appearence:
A box with a Spy-Cicle

Commonly Found Near:
-Anywhere for any reason

Description:
Here's a unique one. the Fire-Retardant Box packs a Spy-Cicle, so raging Pyros and W+M1's will have a harder time killing one. The behavior of this Box Spy is random really, but they commonly take on a similar behavior as the Stealthy Box.
[APERTURE LABORATORIES WEIGHTED CORE STORAGE BOX]
Scientific Name: N/A Appearence: Box with an AP-SAP Commonly Found Near: -Anywhere Description: Spy found this box outside a ruined old laboratory, covered in plant growth and creepy drawings of cake and boxes with hearts on them. It was a normal box, except for one thing, when he sat inside, the box talked to him. Okay enough backstory, this Box Spy is basically a normal Box Spy, except he keeps an Ap-Sap out while walking around, so the voice of Wheatley can brag to him about all the books he didn't read and all the classical music he pretends he knows the composer of. The real only way for someone else to tell that a Box Spy is of this species is if they kill the spy, leaving Wheatley talking out loud on the floor.[wiki.teamfortress.com] This is, however, a highly discouraged action.
The Loudmouth Box
Scientific Name:
Boxus Vocalus

Appearence:
A regular box

Commonly Found Near:
-Friendlies
-Clueless enemies
-Friendly Engineers/Snipers

Description: He may be friendly, but the Loudmouth Box is annoying as fecal matter. The Loudmouth takes pleasure in spamming voice commands at a specific person/people, sometimes to the point of death. Most of these Box Spies die quickly, trying to make a "friend" out of a not-so-friendly player. Some can be fun to have around though, following you spouting nonsense to keep you company.
The Lemonade Box
Introduced by:
Logic TF2

Scientific Name:
Boxus Lemonus

Appearence:
A Lemonade Stand.

Commonly Found Near:
-Lemonade Sellers
-Unrefreshed Enemies
-Lemonade Advertisements
-KOTH King

Description:
The Lemonade Box is the Stealthy Box and Herd Box combined. It functions like a Stealthy Box by staying in one place, hoping to not be discovered, but carries traits from the Herd Box as it travels in packs of 3, along with the Lemonade Seller. The Boxus Lemonus is a completely harmless species of Box, and it's main goal is to serve as a resting stand for the Lemonade, sold by the Seller. This species of Box spy is very quiet, and makes no voice commands, otherwise the Lemonade Seller would lose customers.
The Squeaker Box
Discovered By:
Mr. Conga
(This species has been further investigated and modified as necessary, props nonetheless to the discoverer!)

Scientific Name:
Boxus Juvinus

Appearence:
A box with a speech bubble above it.

Commonly Found Near:
-Spawn
-Trade/Mario kart maps

Description:
THIS SPECIES IS VERY DANGEROUS

The Squeaker Box is a rare species of box which is a breed between the Loudmouth and the Assassin box.
It will not only spam voice commands but it will also take over your mircrophone speach systems to whine and complain in a childish voice, talking about things a 7 year old would.
After making all victims feel like not playing the game, resulting in poor playstyle, this Box will attempt to kill its prey.
Due to the weakened skill of its prey, the Squeaker Box will have a chance to kill said player. This is the only way the Box will have a chance to survive.
The best ways to counter this type of Box Spy is to:
-Play on teamspeak servers
-Mute the Box Spy
-Kick the Box Spy
This is the only time killing a Box Spy is tolerated 100%.
Tree Box
Discovered By:
St
(This species has been further investigated and modified as necessary, props nonetheless to the discoverer!)

Scientific Name:
Boxus Botonus

Apearance:
Blends with a tree, covered in shadows.

Commonly Found Near:
-Trees
-koth_suijin

Description:
Some may call it the "Hippie Brother" of the Stealthy Box. The Tree Box is one with nature, and intends to hide, much like the Stealthy Box throughout maps. However, the Tree Box will hide in bushes and the shade of trees, thus making koth_suijin the perfect map for its habitat.
The Block-Box Spy
Discovered By:
The Majestic King Boxspy
(This species has been further investigated and modified as necessary, props nonetheless to the discoverer!)

Scientific Name:
Boxus Blockus

Apperance:
An obstacle.

Commonly found near:
-Doorways
-Chokepoints
-Hallways

Description:
The Block-Box Spy will block you. You will try to go past them only for them to hold you back and let you get killed by whatever is chasing you. They die often, but in their mind it is worth it. They help their team out, and are therefore surprisingly useful objective-wise.
The Boxless Box
Discovered By:
CrazyRaccoon
(This species has been further investigated and modified as necessary, props nonetheless to the discoverer!)

Scientific Name:
Boxus Invisibus

Appearance:
A crouching Spy that appears to simply be huddling on the ground, but actually has an invisble box shell.

Commonly found near:
-Anywhere
-Beginning of a new round
-MvM

Description:
The cause of the Boxless Box Spy is currently unknown, but it is believed to be related to the Box Spy keeping his Box on until the end of a round, suddenly appearing stuck as a crouching Spy the next game.
Their appearence is very glitchy, and behavior is spontaneous, so be careful, as one may try to attack you. Additionally, be sure to notify the Boxless Box Spy of his appearence, as most are clueless about their lack of Box.
The Ally Box
Discovered By:
The DoctorPlaysVG (я4єvєя)-TPF-
(This species has been further investigated and modified as necessary, props nonetheless to the discoverer!)

Scientific Name:
Boxus Comradus

Appearance:
A Box Spy following a teammate.

Commonly Found Near:
-Skillful teammates or tryhards
-The main bulk of the team

Description:
Although simple and peaceful, the Ally Box is a sign of impending doom. This Box Spy will follow around a friend or top scoring teammate, whether in front or behind them. The collaborating player as either accepted or ignored them, sometimes willing to use this Box as bait for inconsiderate noobs, tryhards, and even friendlies. If you realize there is an Ally Box on your server, waste no time killing him, because as soon as you try his friend will kill you mid-taunt.
The Spray Box
Discovered By:
Coineyes
(This species has been further investigated and modified as necessary, props nonetheless to the discoverer!)

Scientific Name:
Boxus Aerosolus

Appearance:
A box with a spray can.

Commonly found near:
Any surface that can be sprayed on.

Description:
The Spray Box has been seen traveling alone, but also with Herd Boxes occasionally. This box marks its territory by spraying a wall, floor or ceiling with his "mark" which he has chosen personally. They intend no harm to anyone outside of a Box, but will commonly commence in "spray battles," in which 2+ Spary Boxes put their sprays over each others until someone gives up.
The Barking Box
Discovered By:
Mr Creeps5000™
(This species has been further investigated, and modified as necessary. Props nonetheless to the discoverer!)

Scientific Name:
Boxus Canis

Appearance:
A Regular Box

Commonly found near:
Anywhere

Description:
The Barking Box Spy is just like a normal Box Spy, but "barks" at all times. It is unknown why it does this, but many believe it is because of the mutant bread (Snack attack) it ate (holds in its hand). Killing one (which is still a highly discouraged act), may result in the aforementioned Bread to drop down with the body.
These box spies are rare, but a better term would be "limited."
Conclusion
These are all the Box Spies I have discovered traversing the Badlands. Do you have a box you want me to add? Just comment below and I will attach it to the guide with your name as the discoverer, if it is a fitting find, that is.

If I do like what you have discovered, I may have to do one of the following:
-Edit the contents
-Fix grammar/vocabulary
Also, if you would like to be credited as a contributor, send me a friend request so I may add you to the list.
All accepted discoverers will recieve a +rep if privacy settings allow me to do so.
(Also, just to prevent overcrowding and spam, I've reduced the number of species contributions per person to one.)

Also sorry for few images, I'm too lazy for that :T
Thanks for reading, like and favorite if you, you know, liked it. It also makes the guide more popular and gives it a great rating!

Oh also. i heard someone say this in the comments
"Um i think everyone here is forgetting the best box of all. THE UBERBOX

a medic thatunderstands the power of the box will follow said box and at a moment surrounded by enemies deploy the ultimate weapon.......THE UBERBOX"

Idiot box

Scientific Name:
Boxus Idius

Appearance: Normal boxspy

Found near:
-Anywhere and everywhere.

Description:
The idiot box is a boxspy who walks around aimlessly. occasionally trying to assassinate people, but really only going for scouts which are too fast. This boxspy is often killed due to its lack of brains. so they are an extremely rare, and endangered breed of boxspy.

I also met one idiot box who kept trying to jump onto my head and boxspy ontop of my head. but kept getting headshot by a sniper.

Dead ringer box

Scientific name:
Ringius Boxus

Appearance:
It CAN look like and be any boxspy, although it will always carry a dead ringer.

Commonly found near:
We have only seen one of these on a mario kart server, Not known if any others are even alive.

Desc:
When this boxspy feels threatened, or is being attacked. It will exit its box, take out its dead ringer, and flee, if it is shot and the dead ringer is activated, it will find a new place to hide, or continue walking around, depending on what type of boxspy it is. It will usually find a place to hide to recharge its dead ringer, even if its a walking boxspy.
