Disabling VSync
This game has three quality settings: "Weak", "Good" and "Perfect".

If the quality is "Good" or "Perfect", it will enable VSync, which will limit the framerate to the refresh rate of the monitor, and which will introduce a small but noticeable lag in the input.

If you set the quality to "Weak", then VSync will be off, the framerate will not be tied to the monitor, and the input lag will disappear.

You may also try disabling VSync at your video card configuration screen (inside the Control Panel).
Level 6 - hell
How about the lag that happens in Level 6? (that inferno-themed one)

Well, that is not exactly lag. The game code is poorly written, so whenever an enemy shoots a fireball, or a fireball explodes, the game freezes for a fraction of second. There is nothing we can do to solve it.

freezes for half a second? I just get a 2 fps drop, which I'm sure is because of my way overpowered hardware, but if you have a decent pc, you probably won't notice this.
