Welcome, in this guide I will be covering all 50 challenges. The strategy for each challenge is for achieving 999 challenge points. If all you want to do is complete them, the information provided here will still prove useful.

Although this guide has matured to the point where I am comfortable sharing it with the community, I will update it in the coming weeks (or possibly sooner).

The RNG in the beginning will make or break your chances of getting 999 challenge points. Keep trying till the odds are in your favor.

Step 1: Destroy half (or 2/3) of the small enemies with basic shots.

Step 2: Rotate to align the remaining enemies with the next two rows of small enemies, while using a laser shot to destroy them all.

Step 3: Align the last two rows of small enemies, then destroy them with a laser shot.

Step 1: Stay still (it doesn't really help to move around in this case) and use basic shots to destroy the small enemies.

Step 2: Use basic shots to start damaging the mid-size enemy, then get close to it and use a laser shot to destroy it and most (if not all) of its yellow bullets.

Step 3: Use a laser shot to destroy the remaining small enemies.

Step 1: Destroy the small enemies with basic shots while evading the yellow bullets.

Step 2: Continue using basic shots to destroy the mid-size enemy, then rotate to evade the blue bullets.

Step 3: Rotate to align the blue bullets with the mid-size enemy, then use an EMP shot followed by a laser shot to destroy them both. If there are any small enemies remaining, eliminate them with basic shots.

Step 2: Use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death, then rotate to align it with the two rows of small enemies, then quickly use a laser shot to eliminate them all.

Step 3: Use basic shots to destroy the mid-size enemy while evading the purple bullets.

Step 4: Use basic shots on the mid-size enemy. Before it is destroyed, it will fire a wave of bullets, when they get close to you, use an EMP shot to get through them + bring the next mid-size enemy to the brink of death, then destroy it with a laser shot.

Step 1: Wait for the mid-size enemy to appear, then just after it fires at you, use basic shots to slowly destroy it. When the purple bullets get close to you, use an EMP to get through them.

Step 2: Continue using basic shots to destroy the small enemies.

Step 3: Rotate to align the 6 mid-size enemies, then quickly use an EMP shot followed by a laser shot to eliminate them all.

Strategy: Rotate while using homing shots to destroy the small enemies on the wall.

Also: A group of small enemies will come after you three times, use basic shots against the first group, then laser shots against the last two.

Step 1: Get close to the explosive item, then use homing + basic shots to destroy the item and the mid-size enemy. If done successfully, the explosion will destroy the bullets as well.

Step 2: When the large debris gets close enough, use homing shots to destroy it. If you timed it right, the mid-size enemy and its blue bullets will be destroyed too.

Step 3: Move back and lure the small enemies towards you, once they get close to you, destroy them with a laser shot.

Step 1: Align the small enemies, then destroy them with basic shots.

Step 2: Use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death, then go into overdrive (just after it fires at you) and destroy it with a laser shot.

Step 2: Let the large enemy surround you with bullets, then rotate + laser shot everytime the bullets close in on you (keep doing this till you destroyed the enemy).

Step 1: Use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death before it fires at you, then align the yellow bullets with the enemy, when the bullets get kind of close, use a laser shot to destroy them both.

Step 2: Quickly use basic shots to bring the next mid-size enemy to the brink of death before it fires at you, then align the yellow bullets with the enemy, but this time, let the bullets get closer before you use a laser shot to destroy them both.

Step 1: Use an EMP shot to bring the small enemies to the brink of death, then use laser shots to destroy the yellow bullets, once they're done firing, eliminate them with a laser attack.

Step 2: Quickly rotate to align the mid-size enemies, then use an EMP shot before they fire at you, when the bullets get close, use a laser shot to destroy them all.

For a high chance of 999 challenge points, destroy the enemies when they fire their laser attacks.

Strategy: Destroy the enemies that appear bellow, above, then the ones going in circles with basic shots (to raise your flash multiplier), then use laser shots on the remaining enemies.

Tip: Before using basic shots to raise your flash multiplier, go ahead and use a laser shot first to destroy as many enemies as possible (This will increase the odds of getting 999 challenge points).

Strategy: All you want to do here is destroy as many enemies as possible with laser shots. Try to keep your flash multiplier up by obtaining M-CUBES from destroying the small enemies with basic shots when a laser stock needs to be restored.

Step 1: Stay still and use basic shots to destroy the small enemies heading your way.

Step 2: Move down and use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death, then rotate to align it with the small row of enemies, then use a laser shot to eliminate them all.

Step 3: Use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death, then rotate to align it with the next row of small enemies, then use a laser shot to eliminate them all.

Strategy: Quickly destroy all the enemies by rotating up and down repeatedly.

Also: Go into overdrive early to enhance the homing shots (notice how I destroyed the blue lasers from the second row of small enemies on the wall, turning them into M-CUBES, this is crucial to getting 999 challenge points).

Step 1: Use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death before it fires at you, then align the yellow bulllets with the enemy, then use a laser shot to eliminate them both.

Step 2: Go into overdrive and rotate endlessly while using laser shots to destroy the small and mid-size enemies.

Step 3: Quickly destroy the 4 containers to get overdrive items, when the small enemies appear, go into overdrive and rotate endlessly while using laser shots to destroy them all.

Step 1: Destroy the small enemies with basic shots while evading the yellow bullets.

Step 3: Go into overdrive just after the mid-size enemy fires at you, then use laser shots to destroy it with the rest of the mid-size enemies (rotate to align them to make this easier).

Step 1: Use a laser shot to destroy the small enemies and yellow bullets to charge the overdrive gauge.

Step 2: Go into overdrive and use laser shots to destroy as many small enemies and yellow bullets as possible to recharge the overdrive gauge.

Step 3: Go into overdrive one more time and use laser shots to destroy one of the mid-size enemies above or below you (or both if you can).

Step 1: Align yourself with the rotating enemies, use an EMP shot to bring them to the brink of death, then use basic shots to destroy them (you have to do this 6 times).

Step 2: For the last two groups of rotating enemies, use a laser shot instead of basic shots to reach 999 challenge points.

Step 1: Quickly rotate to hit both mid-size enemies with an EMP shot, then quickly rotate back to default position. Wait for them to fire yellow bullets at you, then use laser shots to unleash attacks that will protect your ship (keep doing this till they're done firing). Before they leave, move all the way back and rotate a little, then use a laser shot to destroy both of them.

Step 2: Use laser shots to destroy the mid-size enemy, then go into overdrive and destroy as many small enemies as you can with laser shots while using EMP shots to destroy the blue bullets (try to align them at least once for a chance to get 999 challenge points). If possible, go into overdrive one more time to destroy any blue bullets you missed.

Step 1: Quickly move forward to evade the laser shots, then move all the way back to destroy the small enemies with basic shots.

Step 2: Continue using basic shots to destroy the first mid-size enemy, then quickly use an EMP shot followed by a laser shot to destroy the rest of them.

Tip: Don't worry about the mid-size enemies that appear above and below you, just evade their purple bullets throughout this challenge.

Step 1: Use basic shots to slowly destroy the mid-size enemy, when the blue bullets get close to you, use an EMP shot to get through them.

Step 2: Continue using basic shots to damage the mid-size enemy, then get close and destroy it with a laser shot (just after it fires yellow bullets at you).

Step 3: While evading the purple bullets, go into overdrive just after the enemy on the right fires blue bullets, then move to the back center and use laser shots to destroy it, then use an EMP shot to get through the blue bullets.

Strategy: Move to the back center for a bit, when the yellow bullets appear, slowly lure them to the bottom, when more yellow bullets start coming, move up while using a laser shot, then move down using two laser shots (all while using basic shots).

Step 1: Rotate to align the enemies, then use basic shots to destroy them (repeat this 7 times).

Step 2: A wall of enemies from both sides will close in on you, use a laser shot to go through the enemies behind you, as soon as you go through the enemies in front of you, rotate while using a laser shot to destroy as many enemies as possible, then rotate endlessly while using a laser shot to eliminate any more enemies.

Step 1: Move to the center and go into overdrive, then use a laser shot (this will unleash an attack around your ship) to destroy the surrounding enemies (repeat this 7 times).

Step 2: Move safely through the enemies that are about to form a circle, rotate to align them, then use a laser shot to eliminate them.

Step 2: Go into overdrive and use laser shots to destroy the enemies and yellow bullets while evading the blue and purple bullets, if you can evade them long enough, you should be able to go into overdrive one more time.

Note: Use basic shots on the enemy till the end of step 2 (this is crucial).

Step 1: Move close to the enemy and use an EMP shot to destroy the blue bullets.

Step 2: Rotate to align the yellow bullets as best you can while destroying them with laser shots before the enemy fires blue lasers at you.

Step 3: Before the enemy leaves, use your last laser shot to destroy any yellow bullets you can (try to hit the enemy as well).

Step 4: When the enemy returns, rotate to view the four destructible parts on the wings, when it fires blue bullets at you, go into overdrive and use laser shots to destroy the two parts close to the main body (it should take two shots if the part is not flashing red), if everything goes as planned, it should take one or two laser shots to destroy the enemy.

Step 1: Quickly go through the enemies and use basic + laser shots to destroy the enemy that isn't connected with the others, then use an EMP shot to bring the enemies ahead to the brink of death, then a laser shot to get through them.

Step 2: Just before the blue bullets touch you, go into overdrive and destroy the enemies with laser shots while aligning the blue bullets so you can turn them into M-CUBES with an EMP shot. Your overdrive gauge should be recharged, activate it one more time and destroy any remaining enemies and blue bullets.

Step 1: Use basic shots to start damaging the mid-size enemy, then destroy it and its yellow bullets with a laser shot (do this to the next mid-size enemy as well). If done successfully, your overdrive gauge should be charged.

Step 2: Bring the third mid-size enemy to the brink of death with basic shots before it fires yellow bullets at you, then go into overdrive mode to destroy the bullets, then wait till it fires again and destroy it and some (if not all) of its yellow bullets with a laser shot.

Step 3: Destroy the small enemies with laser shots while in overdrive.

Step 4: Use an EMP shot to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death before it fires at you, then destroy it and its yellow bullets with a laser shot.

Step 5: Use an EMP shot to bring the next mid-size enemy to the brink of death before it fires at you, when the blue bullets get close, use a laser shot to destroy it and its bullets.

Step 1: Move to the back top or bottom corner while destroying the circles of small enemies with basic shots.

Step 2: Use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death, then rotate to align it wth the small enemies and yellow bullets while using a laser shot to destroy them (do another rotate to get the rest of them). If done successfully, your overdrive gauge will be charged.

Step 3: Go into overdrive and rotate endlessly while using laser shots to go through the walls of small enemies and yellow bullets. When you see 6 mid-size enemies, use an EMP shot to help you get through them (you don't necessarily need to destroy all 6 of them to get 999 challenge points).

Step 1: Use an EMP shot on the two spiraling enemies when they are aligned (or rotate to align them), then use basic + laser shots to destroy the enemies and yellow bullets.

Step 2: Repeat the last step, but this time destroy the blue bullets with EMP shots (after aligning them).

Step 1: Use basic shots while rotating to destroy the enemies.

Step 2: After a complete 360° rotation, go around the enemies twice, then use a laser shot to go through the enemies behind you (all while using basic shots).

Step 3: After you go through the enemies behind you again, use an EMP shot to bring the enemies in front of you to the brink of death, then use a laser shot to destroy them as you go through the ones in the back (do this twice).

Step 4: Align the remaining enemies, then use a laser shot to destroy them all.

Step 1: Use basic shots + one laser shot to clear the small enemies and yellow bullets.

Step 2: Lure the purple bullets up, then take the bottom rout while using basic shots to destroy the small enemies.

Step 3: You'll be surrounded by small enemies twice, let them fire at you first (they will miss), once they move towards you, rotate to align them and their yellow bullets, then use a laser shot to destroy them all. If done successfully, your overdrive will be charged.

Step 4: Go into overdrive mode and use laser shots to destroy the mid-size enemies.

Step 5: Rotate endlessly while using laser shots to destroy the remaining small enemies and yellow bullets.

Step 2: Rotate back to default position, then use an EMP shot on some of the mid-size enemies, now move down to evade the yellow bullets while you destroy the laser item with homing shots, now start using laser shots as you rotate endlessly to destroy them and the small enemies.

Step 3: Be in default position and quickly destroy the three laser items with homing shots, when the bullets from the large enemy get close to you, go into overdrive and use laser shots while rotating endlessly to destroy it and the small enemies.

Step 1: Use basic shots to slowly destroy the enemy while evading the purple bullets.

Step 2: Rotate to align the next four enemies, then destroy them with basic shots, now rotate to align the other two enemies while you use an EMP shot followed by a laser shot to destroy them both.

Step 3: Three enemies will appear, destroy the one in the middle with basic shots, now wait for the next 5 enemies to appear, now rotate to align all 7 enemies while you use an EMP shot followed by a laser shot to destroy them all.

Step 4: Rotate endlessly while using laser shots to destroy the small enemies going in circles, then use an EMP shot to bring the next two mid-size enemies to the brink of death, then use a laser shot to eliminate them both.

Step 1: Move to the center and rotate to prevent the bullets from closing in on you while using basic + laser shots to destroy the enemy in front. The enemy behind will stop firing and will move to the front, continue using basic + laser shots to destroy it.

Step 2: Let the next enemy fire blue bullets at you, when they get close, go into overdrive and use laser shots to destroy it.

Step 3: Keep using laser shots to destroy every last enemy. Go into overdrive again to resupply your laser stock.

Step 1: Use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death, then get close to the small enemies above you and destroy them with basic shots. When it's safe, align the enemies while you use a laser shot to destroy as many of them as you can.

Step 2: Quickly use an EMP shot on the two mid-size enemies before they fire at you, when they fired enough yellow bullets, destroy them and their bullets with a laser shot.

Step 3: Use basic shots to destroy as many small enemies as you can. When the blue bullets get close to you, rotate to go over them.

Step 4: When your overdrive is charged, activate it, then use laser shots while rotating endlessly to destroy the small enemies. When you cleared out all the enemies, your overdrive gauge should be recharged, activate it one more time to destroy the remaining blue bullets.

Step 1: Destroy the mid-size enemy with basic shots, then keep using basic shots to destroy the small enemies while you slowly move forward to evade the purple bullets, now do the same thing in reverse till you see two mid-size enemies appear, quickly align them with the other enemies while using an EMP shot followed by a laser shot to eliminate them all.

Step 2: Rows of small laser-firing enemies will appear, wait for the first row of them to be aligned, then use one or two laser shots to destroy all of them.

Step 3: Let the small enemies above and below fire at you, then align them and their yellow bullets as you use a laser shot to destroy them all.

Step 4: Go into overdrive after the small enemies fire at you, then align them and their yellow bullets as you use a laser shot to destroy them all. More will be coming, wait for them to fire again, then use laser shots to destroy them and the other remaining ememies and yellow bullets.

Step 1: Wait for the two mid-size enemies to align, then endlessly rotate to keep them aligned while using laser shots to destroy them both (there is a chance you will get hit by their yellow bullets, so time your laser shots to destroy them too).

Step 2: Rotate endlessly while using a laser shot to destroy the circle of small enemies, then stop rotating and use another laser shot to go through the yellow bullets.

Step 3: Align the blue bullets with the mid-size enemies, then use an EMP shot followed by a laser shot to (hopefully) destroy them all in one attempt (restart if you failed twice).

Step 4: Use basic shots while you rotate a little towards the small enemies above, then do the same thing towards the small enemies below.

Step 5: Use homing + laser shots to destroy the large enemy on the wall.

Step 6: Go into overdrive when the blue bullets from the large enemy get close, then destroy it with laser shots before the next blue bullets get close.

Strategy: This one is pretty straightforward. Use homing + laser shots to destroy the large enemies on the wall while using basic shots (and laser shots if you want) on the small enemies. Charge your overdrive gauge quickly by destroying the yellow bullets from the large enemies to enhance the homing shots when you go into overdrive.

Tip: You can make this challenge less complicated by not moving your ship up or down (see the example in the video).

Step 1: Stay still and destroy the small enemies with basic shots, then rotate to align the yellow bullets while using a laser shot to destroy them.

Step 2: Rotate back to default position and destroy the laser item with homing shots, now use one or two laser shots against the remaining small enemies and yellow bullets. The large enemy should be damaged from the previous laser shots, just let the bullets it fires at you get close, then go into overdrive and destroy it with a few more laser shots.

Step 3: Destroy the overdrive item with homing shots, now damage the large enemy with a few laser shots as you let the bullets it fires get close to you, when the time is right, go into overdrive and rotate endlessly while you destroy it with the rest of the incoming enemies with laser shots.

Step 4: Small laser-firing enemies will appear above and below you, align them while using a laser shot to destroy them all.

Step 5: Use basic shots to bring the mid-size enemy to the brink of death before it fires at you, now align the enemy with the yellow bullets, then detroy them both with a laser shot.

Step 6: Destroy the rest of the small enemies with basic shots (or laser shots if you want) as you destroy the explosive item with homing shots to destroy the yellow bullets.

Step 4: Use basic + homing shots or laser shots to finish the enemy.

Step 1: Use basic + homing shots as you go around the front face of the enemy, destroying as many of its legs as you can.

Step 2: Rotate and move to the middle left while hitting the main body with basic shots. Soon it will fire blue bullets at you, use EMP shots to destroy as many of them as possible till the enemy temporarily leaves.

Step 3: When the enemy returns, use basic + laser shots to eliminate it.

Note: Keep using basic shots against the enemy till the end of this challenge.

Step 1: Quickly move back as you rotate to align some of the bullets it fires at you, then destroy them with an EMP shot.

Step 2: After it fires laser shots from the center of its body, it will fire a wave of blue bullets three times, rotate to align them, then destroy them with an EMP shot.

Step 3: Use an EMP shot to help you get through the purple bullets, then eliminate the enemy with laser shots (destroy the yellow bullets with it too).

I'm still learning more about this boss and its complexities. What I have written for you will not only make this boss somewhat easy to beat, but with a good chance of getting 999 challenge points.

Note: Don't use laser shots till step 5 (crucial).

Step 1: Quickly rotate to align some of the bullets it fires at you, then use an EMP shot to destroy them.

Step 2: Destroy the head first, then quickly rotate to default position to start damaging its right hand, you won't destroy it, but you will bring it to its next phase.

Step 3: Rotate to where you can see the upper body and face, get close to the head and use EMP shots to destroy the blue and purple bullets it fires at you.

Step 4: Rotate to where you can see the lower body. Move to the upper chest and slowly move away from it while you destroy the lower part of its body and bring it to its final phase.

Step 5: Once vulnerable, destroy its right hand, then go into overdrive when it fires both blue and purple bullets, then destroy the upper part of its body with laser shots.
