Tips & Tricks
  • Complete the Sector Projects as soon as possible.

    FINANCES
  • Don't stack your money! Always buy a Sector when its available. Even if you are not going to use it soon, the prices tend to rise overtime.

  • Houses in Arctic/Lunar Sector exceeding the needed workforce is a waste of space and income. Arctic/Lunar are supposed to have negative income while the Temperate Sectors compensate for it...by ALOT.

  • Always use the World Market to buy resources that are too expensive instead of importing from the moon. (BioEnhances, Anti-Grav Compensators, Rare Earth Materials for example)
Only trade between your sectors when the amount needed is cheaper to import from the moon than buying from the World Market.

  • You can make some extra cash if you pay attention to the market prices and overproduce a item that is worth it! Also you could sell it to the Trader in each Sector, but at each Sector the Trader Sells and Buys different things, so check it first.

    BULDING PLACEMENT
  • User your main city huge population to produce stuff that requires a lot of workforce, like Investor tier items or even low tier like Organic Food, Fruits, which individually don't require too much workforce, but the amount of those buildings will require it.

    WORKFORCE
  • Use Drones modules in your Arctic and Lunar factories.
*Those regions are very expensive to maintain with large number of population (Sending resources to satisfy them). In the long run its cheaper to have Drones everywhere.

    ROUTES
  • Always use a sector for each region as a HUB! (More in depth info in Import/Export section.
*For example: "Viridian Coves" for Temperate and "Kingaaite Protectorate" for Arctic.

    OTHER
  • Conflict Zones are the best way to earn rare materials! A couple of battles and you reached the cap! But remember to clear the entire map, destroy the resources deposits! (Since the latest updates it seems they removed the cap)
Import / Export
REGIONS:
Temperate =>To/From<= Temperate
  • 100cr = 1 ~ 50 units
  • 800cr = 51 ~ 500
  • 3,000cr = 501 ~ 2500

Arctic/Tundra =>To/From<= Arctic/Tundra/Temperate
  • 250cr = 1 ~ 50 units
  • 2000cr = 51 ~ 500
  • 7500cr = 501 ~ 2500

Lunar =>To/From<= Anywhere
  • 1,500cr = 1 ~ 50 units
  • 12,000cr = 51 ~ 500
  • 45,000cr = 501 ~ 2500

The following only makes a financial difference from exports TO Temperate Sectors, cause the price to distribute internally is cheaper

ROUTES:
  • 1~50 units = 1 route for each sector
  • 51~2500 units = 1 route to a single sector (HUB) then distribute it internally with more routes.

Thats a good practice that will do A LOT of difference for Temperate sectors, and keep everything organized. Since there's no difference in price if you export from temperate to other regions or between Arctic, Tundra or Lunar, there is no drawbacks with this strategy when applied to other sectors.

If you need more information to understand it better, keep reading the wall of text :)

For example: Its cheaper to transport "Neural Implant" from "Kingaait Protectorate" DIRECTLY to other sectors that need it, if the amount of units is 50 or below. Above 50 its better to transport all the amount needed for a specific region to a "HUB" sector (In this case a Temperate Sector, I usually use my main city for that, since it uses a lot of many things)

Okay, I need 50 units of "Neural Implant" in each of my Temperate Sectors, so what I will do is:
  • Create 4 routes from "Kingaait Protectorate" to each temperate sector transporting only 50 for each.
  • That will cost me 1000cr in TOTAL, to transport a total of 200 units, 50 for each.

At the moment one of the temperate sectors need a total of 51 units, its better to:
  • Create a single route from "Kingaait Protectorate" to the sector which need the highest amount with the total amount combined from all temperate sectors. In that situation a total of 201 units.
  • That will cost me 2000cr, to transport a total of 201 units directly to that "HUB" sector.
  • Then you distribute with 3 more routes from that "HUB" to the other temperate sectors, which will cost you more 100cr per route, with a total amount of 2300cr.
In this example above, if you transport individually to each temperate sector it will cost you a total of 2750cr.
If each temperate sectors needs is at least 51 units, it will cost you 8000cr, but using this "HUB" strategy, only 4400cr, for the next price threshold the difference would've been even higher.
Temperate Regions
Temperate Sectors will be your source of income. Viridian coves in my opnion is the best to have your main city due to its large area to build. Cape Ambar and Walbruck basin are the best to have your industry. Walbruck Basin have the Hydroeletric Powerplants a great boost in energy for your factories.

Viridian Coves
Sector Project: Second Wave Monument (Cosmetic)
Allow you to choose 3 different types of fireworks.

Cape Ambar
Sector Project: Sunken Ark (Rare Materials: Graphene)
Gives you an old ark from 2070 that generates graphene until the cap of 250.

Walbruck Basin
Sector Project: Hydroeletric Powerplant (Energy)
Build 3 hydroeletric powerplants which generates energy.
  • 1st gives 1000 energy
  • 2nd 2000 energy
  • 3rd 3000 energy

Wildwater Bay
Mountain Sites: 16
Coastal Sites: 26

Madrigal Islands
Mountain Sites: 21
Coastal Sites: 35

Greentide Archipelago
Mountain Sites: 17
Coastal Sites: 25

Layouts:
  • Vitamin Drinks/Fruits

  • Intelliwear/Flax Fibers or Intelliwear/Microchips

  • Synthcells/Rejuvenators

Arctic Region
Arctic Sectors are supposed to have negative income if you really want a big city with a huge income. So dont get scared if you see many digits in negative. Dont forget to use the Drone modules in your factories to leave more room to build production chains instead of placing houses.

Ikkuma Glacier
Mountain Sites: 15
Coastal Sites: 25
Sector Project: Oil Rigs (Rare Materials: Petrochemicals)
Gives you 3 different Oil Rigs that keeps generating petrochemicals until the 75 cap each oil rig.

Kinngait Protectorate

Good guide! I am not seeing anything for Space Station and Tundra. Was this not completed or is my Steam being weird?

Hi, as of 5-29-2024
the world market and voting is offline, I think the creators turned off a server it needs to work....so your tip for the world market will no longer work.

Thanks , nice guide !
i didn't know some sector gives you project for Rare Materials.
it is shame i selected each of worst sectors for 50 hrs play...
1. Energy Sector in Temperate 2. Logistic Sector in Arctic, 3.Workforce Sector in Lunar.
grrr...

Actually, its more useful (for me) to buy Rejuvenators from world market, than moon stuff, because moon stuff cost alot more to buy and price can get up really quick. My production is near perfect and i only need like 20 antigrav from market and it cost alot more than adding a new factory.

At level 255 on veteran, i use only one moon sector (and another for mines only for now) to produce goods, with 4m synths that consume a lot. And all those factory build also intelliwar so its neat.

But i did removed my rejuvenator production, because its cheaper to buy it from world market, than having all theses factorys everywhere in my temperate sectors, because i want to have 3-4 sectors full of population and the rest producing goods. So its better for me having my workers on androids factory, than all of theses rejuvenator factory.

In the end, 500 rejuvenators cost me 60k from world market, 500 androids or antigrave, cost like 250k or more.

Viridian is definitely the best region to stick your big moneymaking city into. Lots of room, only one Warehouse to setup.
