Who am i?
A filthy casul at this game.
.
no, but seriously im probably one of the better players in this game.
I have all guns unlocked, tested all of them including some market weapons, i always carry my team.
gg?

ggez

Well this is just to show that im not some random player, im someone who gets results.

(dat enneakill doe *.* )

I think its self explanatory that i am GODTYR

I was kinda sweaty after this one lel.

Got many other kill streaks but octa and ennea kills were too common i just didnt even bother anymore.

*Sorry for the pro screenshot skills, i never really intended to use them for something like this. :c
Things that will make you a better player than 69% of the playerbase.
1- If you have a skill-sync ability always use it at Tier 2 only. This allows 3 others from your team to benefit from your skill.

2- Watch your map. This is the main reason your team or the enemy team will lose. Its because one or more smart players end up flanking the team from behind and getting a free octakill.

3- Dont block teammates / dont bunch up in 1 location. If your teammate is firing around a corner hes definitly going to need to move back into cover. You blocking him doesnt help.
Dont bunch together as bullets in this game can penetrate so dont think crouching directly behind a teammate will save you from getting penetrated.
A smart player will also use grenades or arm launchers to easily clear players grouped tightly together around cover, The arm launcher is especially dangerous.

4- Press default "e" when someone has their skillsync on. They saved the Points just for you and others to use it. dont let them down. It also gives them exp, but really they just like sharing :3

5- If you are cornered by a nano-gel armor user it is usually better to get out your knife and rush him. Not even his/her enhanced armor+hp can withstand the Overpowered knife. Recommended for close - medium range only.

6- If you are playing Togusa dont spawn drones when the enemies are across the map from you, drones have a limited travel distance and will self destruct if it doesnt reach an enemy in time.
Characters / Operatives
You can unlock new characters with operative licences which can be acquired from level up rewards or bought from the market at 249750 credits or 9990 Nexon coins each
You get a free operative licence at lvl 3 and lvl 5.

Okay now lets move on to the characters.
You have a choice of 8 characters to choose from (as of early access) each with their unique skills.

*Skill syncing shares the Tier 1 version of the ability with your teammates, only the player syncing will receive the tier 2 effects.

[Saito] - Heatsensor/Skillsync
Gives the player/team the ability to see enemies through walls in short bursts. Tier 2 will make the scan last longer for the player only while giving the tier 1 effect to friendlies. Dying disables this skill.

[Togusa] - Seeker drone
Launches 1 small drone at Tier 1 and 2 drones at Tier 2. Each drone targets the closest enemy/ies and explodes at their feet. At tier 2 it also gains the scrambler effect which stuns the target if the initial blast was not enough to kill.

[Kusanagi Motoko] - Therm-optic camo/Skillsync
Turns Yourself/team invisble for a short duration. you will appear as a blur to the enemy team. shooting/ getting hit/ throwing grenades will disable the cloak until the action is completed. Staying still will cause the camo to try and blend in with your surroundings making you even harder to detect. Moving will cancel the blending.

[Batou] - Arm launcher
Fires 1 rocket at Tier 1 / 2 rockets at Tier 2, in the direction youre aiming at. You cannot sprint while the arm launcher is active.

[Ishikawa] - Cyber Sentry
Deploys a armored turret to guard over a area, at tier 2 the turret's cone of fire gets upgraded to 180 degrees and it gets a health boost.

[Paz] - Hyper Sprint/Skillsync
Gives the player/team a melee range, sprint and jump boost. Your melee range, sprint and jump is enhanced for a short duration

[Borma]- Nano-gel armor/Skillsync
Gives the player/team increased maximum armor + health and armor + health regen for a short duration. The regen speed increases the longer the skill is in use.

[Maven] - Therm-Optic Barrier
Places a thermal barrier that renders all friendlies behind it invisible, the barrier works in both directions. enemies shooting through the barrier will disrupt it causing the players behind it to become visible. The barrier can be destroyed by shooting its plate on the ground. The barrier also slows bullets down so you will take slightly less damage. Tier 2 increases the barriers size.

My recommended characters to pick for a beginner are as follows.

Togusa - Not many are ever prepared for a drone coming right at them, especially while under fire. Using this can almost get you 2 free kills every single time you activate it. It also helps out as a scouting tool as they target the closest enemy player. Do note they can be shot at so placing them in a open area is not advised. Indoors or narrow alleys make ideal spawn points.

Borma - Not much to explain here. Just simple max health boost + armor regen (AP) + health regen (HP) to yourself or to your team. This is one of the skills you can use at Tier 1 to keep yourself alive ofcourse, but if you find yourself doing bad and not contributing to your team then its better to use it at Tier2 so your team might make better use of it. As the skill nears its end dont be afraid to do a full frontal assault as the regeneration speeds up dramatically.

Paz - If you like diving into the enemy lines then this is the perfect skill. It can easily change the game from a losing to a winning one. Run straight in and surprise them upfront or use the speed to flank the enemy from behind. You can also jump to unexpected places. Equip a knife to get a really cheesy rightclick kill. (if you skillsync and all players synced use knives then prepare for flame from the enemy team)

Maven - She is a very good support character using her Barrier to deceive enemies while providing your team with cover you can place it near chokepoints or high traffic areas and remain completely invisible so long as the barrier is not disrupted. Very effective at long ranges as snipers behind cover can reduce their profile even further while being able to lock down an area with sniper fire.
Implant sockets
Each Operative will have their own levels which if you play enough will unlock more sockets for you to attach implants on.

Implants consist of cyberbrain, physical and ability implants and can be acquired from the end of match hacking node rewards.

Attaching implants will give you bonuses that will give you a small advantage over other un-upgraded players, however you are only limited to 5 implants at a time so choose wisely.

Implants have their own durability that will deplete after every battle, there will be a display during game which will have a list of upgrades attached on your operative. When the implant lights up it is active.

Premium shop, outfits and skins
Premium shop

You can purchase NX coins via the main menu ingame.
These premium currencies currently can only be used to purchase cosmetic skins, outfits and operative licences.

Most weapons and characters will have alternate skins, these are purely cosmetic and give no benefit whatsoever.

Weapon stat guide
Damage = How many hitpoints a target loses when shot within the weapons range.
Accuracy = How far/often the bullet will deviate from the center of your aiming reticule.
Stability = The recoil of a weapon. (higher the better)
Fire rate = How fast a weapon fires.
Range = effective range of a weapon, firing past this range will lower the damage your weapon does.
Ammo = you still reading?

Weapons
Probably what everyone is looking for.

For this ill review every gun and recommend those i find are really, really good, it works for me really well, maybe not for you, but top kek.

Im assuming you know how to use weapon classes properly i.e shotguns are for close range and not sniping.
kk?
k ez

*market bought weapons have no unlock features, so if you want mods youre going to have to buy them from the market, which are more expensive than the unlocked mods.
**Most of the market weapons i used only have 1-3 mods attached. (mainly scopes) so stats shouldnt be very different from the base.
***Market mods are superior to unlocked mods.
****Only for certain guns i will recommend mods, The rest can be unlocked or have no options to choose from.
*****Pistols do not have any attachments

[Pistols]

Seburo M5 - Default
A very good starting sidearm can make short work of unsuspecting players or just outright finish off weakened enemies.

93-SE - Market weapon
This is the current king of pistols. Has a 3 shot burst and only needs 2 bursts to kill, this gun is perfect for finishing an enemy and is viable to use instead of your primary.

[Smgs]

MP5-V5A - Default
The starting MP5-V5A is an amazing smg, probably the best in the game.
upgrade it and start reking. you can easily get pentakills with this gun. (best smg)

MP5K-S3 - Unlock weapon
The MP5K-S3 is almost identical to the Mp5-V5A with a slight overall stat boost.

KRIS-SV - Market weapon
Has the fastest fire rate ingame, tied with the Deathstalker EVO. A noticeable 28 clip size compared to the standard 30. Good for the ocasional 1v1/1v2 skirmish but forget about trying to go 1v4+.

UMP-45S1 - Market weapon
More of a assault rifle than a smg, has higher damage, accuracy and stabilty than other smgs but with a fire rate and range to match assault rifles. Good if youre looking to use a decent medium ranged weapon without sacrificing your movement speed. The 25 magazine size ensures that rushing with this will leave you empty in a matter of seconds.

Deathstalker Evo - Market weapon
This is what the Kris-SV failed to be, range, damage, accuracy and mag size makes this a upgrade from the Kris. High fire rate and damage makes this a excellent rushing weapon however it has the lowest stabilty of all smgs so proper recoil management is needed.

[Assault rifles]
M4A1 - Default
All around average stats, easy to use good at everything best at nothing.

SC-AR 45 - Unlock weapon
Very accurate gun with high damage and range, the recoil is manageable, can outgun everybody at long range with short burst fire. (Best assault rifle ive used so far and my current main assault rifle)

S25-R - Market weapon
Decent accuracy and damage with high stability and fire rate. Plays like an smg so close/medium range is the best with this gun.

ACR1-G2 - Market weapon
Very accurate gun with low recoil, use this gun only if you absolutely suck at aiming, has low damage but its the easiest gun for people starting the FPS genre.

AK47 - Market weapon
The legendary weapon in all counterstrike rip-offs is not exempt from this game too. High damage, high accuracy, high recoil, high range. This gun in the right hands can dominate the field with precision shots.

K22 - Market weapon
A complete upgrade from the M4A1 and a lite version of the SC-AR45, deals less damage than the scar but also more accurate and stable. A very stable assault rifle and is suited for those who want a balance of precision and power.

[Sniper rifles]

L118A-S1B - Default
Bolt action, reliable 1 shot but sometimes requires 2 shots even with the market barrel equipped, more of a fun gun to use especially for those awper fanbois.

SA50 - Unlock weapon
Broken m*ther f*ker, 1 shot semi-auto heaven with the market barrel equipped, rarely ever requires 2 shots. The best sniper in the game.

[recommended mods]
-Get the Seburo HD25/ACS scope or 4x32 PS in unlock or market
-Purchase the 2511-LB barrel in market

[Shotguns] **** I wouldnt recommend adding mods to shotguns as it will lower their movement speed, movespeed is important for them close range manouveres yknow?

870-ICS - Unlock weapon
Pump action, High damage more range and ammo compared to the USS-12 this shotgun is good and suits CQB players. reload is slow for this so rushing isnt as effective. slow fire rate since its a pump action allows you to get rushed before you can fire another shot.

USS-12 - Market weapon
Semi automatic, good enough damage to be a 1 shot at point blank very good for rushers. Can clear an entire team if they were weakened in a firefight. reload speed is very good. fire rate is good, can easily 1v5

[Machine gun]

M249-G4 - Unlock weapon
Terrible accuracy and recoil, the extreme range and damage makes up for this though. Used more for defending a position or for destroying Think-tanks. Its more of a fun gun to just show everyone you actually bothered to unlock it or if you wanna be rambo.
Maps to avoid
Dubbing site

Absolute spawn camp fest, worst map for newbies and noobs.
best map for pros huehueuheuheuh :3

Port

Due to its small size it is not a newb friendly map as more experienced players will take advantage of postions to camp spawn areas.
Cheap tactics :3
A win is a win right?

So lets begin with some cheap tactics ive observed through my entire time of playing.

1- Hyper sprint knife frenzy
Just as the name implies, 1 or 2 players skill sync up their hyper sprints, team then proceeds to rush and rightclick the enemy to death. All dem finishers doe...

2- Nano-gel army
The name kinda explains it all, Entire sausagefest of Bormas and his pesky nano-gel armor. Just bulldoze through the enemy team. Add 1 therm-optic camo sync to double the fun.
GP farming guide
To rack up GP quickly i suggest playing demolition mode you get around 2k+ for a fast game (8 rounds) to 3k+ for a long game (12+ rounds)

If you are having difficulty in finding a demolition game try search or create a room in the custom match option.
It would be wise to use GP boosters.

*If youre very good at racking up kills sticking to TDM is probably a better choice, demolition is good in that it allows you to earn objective points aswell and games are relatively fast paced.

Happy farming!
Game mechanics
Think-tanks
Think-tanks appear exclusively in the Terminal Conquest game mode and only spawns to provide support when 1 team successfully captures a control point. It has high health and 2 weapons, its machine guns are not very accurate so dont be afraid to move out of cover to another position. Its main cannon however is more deadly and will 1 shot its targets.
High damage weapons and skills such as the SA50 or M249 and Arm launchers make short work of the Think-tank.
To make it easier to fight, it is possible for the opposing team to hack the Think-tank which, if successful will disable it for a short time rendering it vulnerable.

Node hacking
At the end of every round whether you win or lose you will be prompted to hack 3 nodes. These are purely random and all 3 nodes are the same. Rewards can differ from gp and exp boosts to implant modules.
Pray to rngesus
derp
However with luck you may be able to find a super rare! :O with much better rewards, such as this one.
Rngesus ritual
not bad eh?

End of round achievements
At the end of every game, if you did exceptionally well you will receive an achievement for your efforts which will reward you with bonus exp for each achievement.
List of achievements
Destroyer = Have the highest score in the game
Technician = Have the most skillsyncs in the game
Controller = Have the most objective points in the game
Pacifist = Have the lowest KDR in the game

Recoil pattern
This game has no predictable recoil pattern for its weapons unlike similar fps titles such as csgo and crossfire. The bullets will always deviate in a circle radius from the center of your reticule. Having a grip installed will make the recoil push your reticule in a right or left direction as indicated on the grip.

Pistol Accuracy
Contrary to popular belief crouching isnt always the best option to increase accuracy. Oddly enough crouching with pistols Slows down their aim time (the time it takes for the reticule to shrink) standing and ADS (Aiming down sights) negates this however.

Killstreaks / Public killstreaks - Are only shown to you via a small icon in the center of your screen, killstreaks will only occur if you kill 2+ players in quick succession.

Killstreaks - They begin at double (2 kills) and end at quadra on the 5th kill it will upgrade into a public killstreak which will be visible to the entire enemy team in chat. (kinda tells the enemy team to focus on you if they arent already trying lel)
Public Killstreaks - (Shown in Public chat) will only occur if you kill 5+ players in quick succession

List of killstreaks
1- lel
2- Double kill
3- Triple kill
4- Quadra kill
5- Pentakill - "X is on a rampage!"
6- Hexakill - "X is dominating the battlefield!"
7- Septakill - "X has the enemy on the run!"
8- Octakill - "X is making you all look bad!"
9- Enneakill - "X is ruling the field!"
10- Decakill - "X has this section on lockdown"
11+- Killstreak - "X has this section on lockdown"

** " quote auto announced in all chat "
*** X = player name

At least I know that the problem is your complete lack of sympathy and understanding, and not simply an incidental case of asshattery.

I wish you the very best of luck in filling that gaping chasm left by your parents' neglect during your childhood.
Cheungy  [author] 18 Jul, 2016 @ 9:23am
And you spend your time calling random people online, failures.
Wonder what's more sad tbh.
Also if "ez octakill" is enough to trigger a reaction from you I suggest you stick to singleplayer or Co-op games.

Wow, your life must be a complete and utter failure in order for you to say shlt like ''EZ OCTAKILL''.. some people just enjoy playing a game for the fun, and here you are being a dlck to them.

Very, very sad.

Hey man thank's 4 taking the time to give us these helpful tip's. The Weapon Stat's list helped me a ton so i know what not buy a crappy gun. I bought the $30 Elite pack and got GP: 500,000. Spent less than 200,000 Gp on Mp5 SMG. Decked that gun out Sight's and all. I have 367,000 Gp left. The gun has served me well. Made 50,000 Gp after becoming level: 2. Anyway hope we can be friend's and thanks for you Help. Hit me up when ever.
