This is a very basic guide which only covers what's absolutely essential to complete the game and get all achievements. You can do a lot more in this game, including talking to people on a variety of topics, reading books, examining objects, and trying out fun stuff.

As soon as you start the game, talk to Chucker next to the fountain [Achievement: Chucked It In].

Now leave the village and explore the country.

Get Wilted Flower at the pond.

Talk to Red Pixie at the pixie tree.

Get Royal Mushroom at the mushroom glade, give it to the shopkeeper at the general store, get Empty Jar in exchange.

Encounter the gnome at the river ford and learn "Stairway to Another World" song from the two girls.

Visit eastern border and see the high priest leaving the faerie kingdom [Achievement: High Priest].

Give Gold Coin to the ferryman at the jetty; he will row you to the Isle of the Honored. Get cloak, read all stones at the memorial [Achievement: Honors Student], and ask the ferryman to row you back. Once back, play "Stairway to Another World" for the ferryman, and he will return your Gold Coin.

Get Bamboo at the fishing spot. Talk to fisherman Ted to learn "The Fisherman's Love Song".

Play "The Ode to Peace" at the bees tree, then cover the beehive in your Cloak to get it.

Combine Beehive with Bamboo.

Encounter the gnome again at the old tree, and again at the bear glade. Give Beehive to the bear to free the gnome. Now return to the old tree and reach into the hole in the tree to get Treasure and [Achievement: He is Gnomor'].

Give Treasure to the troll at troll bridge [Achievement: Paid the Troll Toll].

Proceed to rose glade and get Rose, give it to Glenda at the potion store, and play "The
Fisherman's Love Song" to her [Achievement: Perfect Match].

Talk to Faolan at the tavern [Achievement: Faolan's Story].

Talk to Turtle at the fishing spot to learn "Song of the Turtle". Enter the swamp, play "Song of the Turtle" to calm down the raptor. Get deeper into swamp until you get attacked by the Sloths. Return to the village and ask Librarian at the library for help. Get Chicken Soup at the general store, give it to the raptor at the swamp, and make it follow you to the Sloths. Once the way is clear, dive into water to get to the inner swamp.

Now go W, N, capture spider with your Empty Jar, N, W, S, W to get Pixie Harp [Achievement: Swamped].

Now go E, N, N to get to the seer [Achievement: A Knight to Remember].

Talk to Yamma Uba, throw blue vial, yellow vial, and red vial into the cauldron [Achievement: Seered to Perfection].

Get Veli Juice from the chest in the seer's hut. Talk to the seer again to unlock the shortcut to the pixie tree. Give Pixie Harp to Red Pixie. Use Spider Jar on red Pixie to get your Songbook back.

Get Watermelon at the picnic glade. Give Watermelon and Veli Juice to Glenda at the potion store, get Restoration Potion in exchange. Use Restoration Potion on any crystals (the nearest crystals are just west of the village, near the road). Use energized Restoration Potion on Wilted Flower. Plant the flower in the mound of dirt in front of the angry tree. Now you can get Firienne Berries from the bush [Achievement: Drops of Juniper].

Give Firienne Berries to the seer. Ask Brother Kunchen at the monastery about music to learn "Blessings of Mead".

Now is a good time to switch your lute to hard mode and play all seven songs manually for [Achievement: Musical Genius].

Play "Blessings of Mead" at the bear glade.

During the ceremony, play "The Shield of Cosiant" [Achievement: A Worthy Challenger].

That's it, you've completed the game and unlocked all 13 achievements. Now to wait for "Fortress of Fire"...
