Introduction

So you get a blackscreen on startup, but still hear the background noises? The reason behind this bug is the resolution. Revelations 2 is a console port, and thus is a bit picky when it comes to PC setups and settings.

So how do I fix it?

It's fairly simple, follow these steps:

1. Make sure you can see hidden files and folders.

Don't know what that means? Check this guide[www.howtogeek.com], it's very simple.

2. Go to to the following path: *WindowsUsername*/AppData/Local/Capcom/RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS2

Open the config.ini file using the editor or notepad.

3. Edit the resolution:

Scroll down until you see "Resolution=*numbers*x*numbers*

Edit the numbers to Your respective monitor resolution.
Example: If You use 1024x768, You'll have to edit the line to the following: Resolution=1024x768

4. !Save your changes!

That's it! Startup the game and enjoy it!

You did it! You should now be able to play the game. Keep in mind that this ONLY applies to people that hear the background noises during the blackscreen! If you still get a blackscreen then there must be a different cause of the problem.

is work ty only 1 problem left .....not work in fullscreen too so 1600x900 res left ....
