CREATING A GALAXY 1/3/16 (Outdated)

Just spawn in the galaxy and edit it lmao, either way I wrote it in 2016 so hey 3 years this existed.

2023 Update: People are still talking in this guide for some reason, it's interesting to see people commenting even after... 6 years almost, holy sh*t, man-

Commenting to talk about how intricate and helpful this guide was for me. I was trying to make galaxies, but to no avail, none of them were stable enough to keep composure for more than a minute or so.
That's where this guide came in.
I had been using objects smaller and duller than that of Sagittarius. After implementing the ideas of the author, I can say that this guide has done it's job. Not only for me, but for the others out there that may have had a similar or even the same issue.

I am leaving this comment purely for the sake of commenting. Anyway, a simple yet effective guide... I imagine. Current game version looks (relatively) completely different. But I'm not sure if I get things right... do we end up with 2 rings of water and 1 ring of hydrogen?

I don't know what value (if any) I'll add to the discussion but I want to go with it anyway: ninth day of February, 2024. Besides, haven't proper galaxies been added to the game already? I recall playing around with them, so it's most likely outdated (which the guide explicitly states by the way). And I don't mind a guide being outdated if it's explicitly stated that the guide is outdated.
