Tobacco for Kuzmich
Pete and Chapaev are in the Pete's house. We play as Pete. Select Use command and drink water from the Aquarium.



After the small cutscene you will see a Key on the floor. Look into the Closet so that Pete would open the Door. Select Take command and pick up the Key. Also, take the Cuckoo from the Clock and find Rubber Mattress in the Closet.

Go to another room. Then choose Chapaev icon in the Inventory to take the Horseshoe that is hanging above the door. We should also get a hint from him about opening a Chest in the room with a Key you found. It turned out to hold the Machine Gun Assembling Manual.

Now go out of the house and watch Chapaev treating Pete with a cigar! Then pick a road to the right to get to Anka's house.



Select Action command and apply it to the Door to visit Anka. If you switch to Take command now, you can pick up Bellows from the floor. Also, take machine gun Spare Parts from the Table. Now you can combine Manual and Spare Parts in the Inventory, and Pete will assemble a Meat-grinder! Use Talk command to speak to Anka. Select every variant. You should get a new task: kick the Anarchists away from the Sauna so that Anka could go there with Pete and Chapaev.

Leave Anka's house and pick the path to the right. You will get to the field, then to the forest and finally see the Sign where you meet young communists. Select Talk command and speak to one of them. You will learn that he has some suspicious green bottle. However, he won't part with it easily and asks for an army flask in exchange.

We are at the crossways. Go to the left to get to the defector sailor which can't frighten away even the ordinary Crow! Here you can combine Bellows and Rubber Mattress in the Inventory to get Girlfriend. Use it on the Crow. The feathered beast will start laughing as your invention isn't scary at all and then pierce the blow-up doll with its beak. Obviously, after that the annoying bird will finally get lost. The cutscene will start, where you'll see the pierced blow-up doll falling into the Chimney near the Well. The relieved Defector decidesto take a nap thinking that we will watch after tobacco for him. Select Take command and grab a bunch of tobacco. All you need now is to grind it. Move to any other location – it will make Tobacco in your Inventory dry. Then take the Dry Tobacco and drag it onto the Meat-grinder.

Spirit for Kuzmich
Return to the crossroad and go down the road to meet Reds. You can go into the lecture room where you'll watch another cutscene. Talk to two Red Army Soldiers to the right. After that you will get a gun to take your turn in the shooting game. Your target is going to be a lamp. Then you get to the street and find out that your gun is unloaded.

Leave the Club and go to the right. You will get to the location with a spider jumping over the window. If you go to the upper right, you will get to Pete's house. So choose the path that leads to the Shop. Talk to the Drunk. As soon as Chapaev says that a new batch of alcohol just arrived at the commissary, all soldiers and the Drunk will rush there. You still have nothing to open Barn's lock with, so go to the Shop.


Talk to the Clerk and get "Capital" Book and Palm Seeds from her. Open Inventory and apply Use command to the Book. Pete will find Empty Syringe there.

Leave the shop and go down the road. You will get to the pumpkin patch. Here you can plant the Palm seeds in the ground at the seedbed to see the sprout instantly appearing!

Return to the seedbed with a palm sprout and go to the right to get to the Apiary. Talk to Kuzmich. You will learn a "tale" about aliens and realize who the person waiting for the tobacco is. Combine Cuckoo and Horseshoe in the Inventory to get Magnet. Also, since you already opened your Inventory, combine Oars and Axe to get some nice Firewood! Give the shag tobacco to the Bekeeper to silence him at last. However, he will still refuse to give you some of his bees and demands you to find alcohol for him. So Pete and Chapaev, being the kind-hearted persons, went to find some vodka for Kuzmich.

From the Apiary you can get to the Junkyard. However, there will be nothing of interest there at that moment, so you have to go further to get to the Dead End. Select Use command to pull all three Transformer levers down with Pete. Switch to Chapaev and use wires lying on the ground. Our fearless Commander dares to connect the wires so we will get a funny cutscene.
The Junkyard holds all garbage accumulated by the village. On its right side you will see two protruding wires. Attach the Magnet made from the Horseshoe and Cuckoo to them. Now all that's left is to energize the wires. Return to the Transformer. Command Pete to pull all three levers down. Switch to Chapaev and use wires lying on the ground. Watch the new cutscene about Magnet drawing various metal objects to itself, including the Bullet from the rails. Go to the Junkyard and pick up the Bullet. Combine Bullet and Revolver in the Inventory to get the Loaded Revolver.

Then return to the pumpkin patch and go right until you get to Furmanov's house. In the Courtyard Pete will gladly borrow Axe (apply Take command). Select Action command and apply it to the Well's crank so that Pete would pull the Bucket with Water from it. Now apply "Chapaev" command to the Bucket. The Commander will get the Bucket and quench his thirst along the way. Use the Axe to hack the rope. After that you will be able to grab the Bucket (apply Take command).


Now you can finally enter the house. Talk to Furmanov. Apply Take command to pick up Oars from the corner. You will also see the "Did you enlist in the Red Army?" poster inside. Below it you can tear off (Take command) the coupon allowing you to get a Can of "Sprite" for free!
Get back to the Shop and exchange Coupon to Can of "Sprite" at Clerk. Someone was dreaming of this green can, right? Exactly! It was Pavlik the young communist which you met at the crossroad. Exchange the Can of "Sprite" to Spirit at him.

Go to location with Stump and Twig which sticks out from it. Use Axe to get it. After that, get to the location with Hay. Do you remember seeing somebody's heels sticking out of it? Now tickle them with Twig.


Watch the cutscene with the nude couple. When it ends, you can grab the Hay with Take command.

Then you have to return to the Stove location. There, apply "Chapaev" command on the Stove to get the Wig from it. Then return your find to natural color. Get to the Bridge location with Whites and dip Wig into the can with paint near the "White Scum" sign.
Freeing Sauna for Anka
Go to Apiary and give "Spirit" to Kuzmich. However, he will refuse to give you his bees again. At first he will demand for some anecdotes and then will even fall asleep. Apply Use command on the unconscious Beekeeper. In his pocket Pete will find Code. Apply Syringe on the Hive with Bees to get Syringe with Bees.



Then get to the Junkyard since there is a Safe there. To open it, select a piece of paper with a Code on it from you Inventory and apply it to Vasily Ivanovich. After that, select Talk command and apply it to Safe. When you do it, Chapaev will unlock the safe. There will be a Key there!

This Key opens a lock on the Barn in front of the Shop, where you will find a cow. First of all, treat it with Hay. Now it's time for milking! But Pete considers it to be women's work. However, Vasily Ivanovich is willing to do anything, so milking a cow isn't a problem for him (Note: you won't be able to get milk without the Bucket from Furmanov's well).



Unfortunately, Chapaev overdid it a little. You will still get Bucket with Milk, and Pete will also be able to pick up Cow Hide.

Go to the Seedbed location. Shower the palm sprout with milk from the Bucket. It will make the sprout grow a little. After that you will have to move to any other location and then get back to the palm. Oh, that's quite another thing! Now it has Coconuts and there is even a parrot there! However, it's not easy to harvest those fruits. Not a problem for Pete, though – since he has a loaded gun and a dead eye. Shoot the Coconuts – that way you will also frighten the parrot away. Now you can pick up Coconuts.



All the rest is a piece of cake! Return to Sauna and let Pete empty Syringe with Bees through the keyhole. A new cutscene will be triggered. When it ends, the Sauna will be free.
Anka's Clothes
Go to Sauna. Open the Small Door with Use command to get access to Furnace. Throw Firewood from your Inventory there. Now select "Chapaev" command and apply it to Furnace to set the Firewood on fire.



Go to Anka and watch a new cutscene.

Return to Sauna and talk to Chapaev. Let Pete say that Vasily Ivanovich forgot to turn off the gas in the kitchen. This will trigger another cutscene after which you will get Anka's clothes.

Go to the Bridge with Whites. Select Go command and apply it to Bush. Pete will hide there. Then switch to Use command and apply it to same Bush. Pete will disguise himself in Anka's clothes, while Chapaev will pretend he is a cow.

What Are We Doing Here?
When the cutscene ends, we will see Pete and Chapaev sneaking into the Whites' camp. Select the "Wrist Builder" command and apply it to Rainwater Pipe. Watch the cutscene.

Getting And Cashing a Check
Now we play as Anka. Enter the Toilet to take Powder from the floor.



Then return to the corridor and go right until you get to the room with a "Photo Lab" sign on it. Grab the Cylinder neat the entrance and then take Nose with Moustache from the Camera. On the clothes hanger to the right you will find Wig and Sailor's Cap. Then you can go to the Hall.

Talk to all characters you meet there to get some info on the Red Banner. Don't forget to grab the Quill from the brothel mistress' Desk. Then take the main entrance to get into the Lobby. On the right you will find the Restaurant. There you will see First lieutenant Bodybuildersky sitting at the table nearest to you. Talk to him until he offers you to accompany him upstairs. Watch the sadie-maisie cutscene. Now Anka has to find his money!



Bodybuildersky's clothes is at the bed – apply Use command to it, and Anka will find Blank Check in his pocket. Use same command to open the First Aid Kit. There you will find Sleeping Potion and Patch. Combine Blank Check and Quill in the Inventory to get the Filled-in Check.

Go to the corridor. You are in brothel's right wing. There are plenty rooms there, but all of them will be locked, so return to the Bar to get to the main entrance which leads to the first floor. Go down to get back to the Restaurant again. Talk to everyone. If you ask the Bartender about a game of Darts, he will put the equipment on the bar counter, and you can take it. Also you can unscrew Valve from the barrel which is behind the priest. If you get to Captain Rastorguev's table, Anka can grab some Sugar from the Sugar Bowl at it.

Then go to the street. First talk to Hippie – he will gladly exchange his Machine Gun to Chapaev's Head. After that, visit Arms Shop and Post Office. Also, there is a Bank to the left.

Return to Chapaev and Pete. Right at the entrance you can pick up Make-up Bag. Inside, you will find Make-up Set. To get it, apply Use command to Make-up Bag in the Inventory.

Go to the Bank and use Sugar on the Bank Device. It will be invaded by the ants, and after this incident Anka can safely handle Filled-in Check to the Bank Clerk who will give her money.
General Is in the Suite Room
Visit Arms Shop one more time. Give money to the clerk and take Net from the counter.



Go to the Fountain at the street. Apply Net to the Head in the Fountain. Combine Head and Make-up Set in the Inventory to get Made-up Head. Adding Nose with Moustache to it will give you Chapaev's head without Papakha.

Go to the Bartender and give him money to receive Cocktail. Madeleine will manage to take a sip of it. Talk to her one more time. She will babble something about seeing the Red Banner at General's. After that you can take the Glass from the Bar Counter. Combine Glass and Sleeping Potion in the Inventory to get Killer Cocktail. Offer it to Madeleine, and she will expectably fall asleep right at the Counter! Then you will have to tell the mistress sitting at the upper left corner that her favorite girl is drunk.
Getting Past the Chinese in the Basement
Get access to Suite Room in brothel's right wing. Go there and talk Stepan the lackey. He will give you the keys from the brothel basement. There you can also attach Valve to the water tap and then apply Use command to it to fill the swimming-pool.



Go down to the lobby and unlock basement using the keys. However, some Chinese is demanding entry permit from you. Try to enter one more time and arrange passing without the permit. Chinese needs some heroin. He will even give Anka Bill to get his Package from the Post Office.

Go there and exchange Bill to Package. Return to Chinese to discover that Package is empty! Postmen stole all its contents, while it is you who will get a whole bunch of undeserved threats! So now you have to find both the heroin and 3 million as a compensation for Chinese. Pour Powder in the Empty Package in the Inventory and voila! Now you have Heroin Package! Return to the formidable son of Celestial Empire. He will taste Powder and immediately forget about the money you owe him.



Find General in the room for opium smoking. Talk to him and ask about the Red Banner. He will tell you that it is most likely in the HQ. However, to learn the location of HQ, you will have to show him the photo of Tzar.
Chapaev Is a Tzar
Go to the Suite Room. There is a Hippo stuck in the bath! Use Darts to pierce and exsufflate it. Now you can grab Pierced Inflatable Hippo. Combine Patch and Pierced Hippo in the Inventory to get Exsufflated Hippo.



Apply Use command to it, and you will get Hippo ready for some photo shooting!

Give Hippo to the Photographer to get Flash in return. Go to the Photographer's room in the left wing. Attach Flash to the Camera and return to Chapaev and Pete. Watch the cutscene with Vasily Ivanovich and Pete going to the photo shoot and get a picture of Chapaev as a Tzar.



Take the photo to General in brothel basement to learn the plans of Whites and location of their HQ. Time to report to Chapaev. You will get a new task: acquiring a weapon.
Acquiring the Machine Gun
At the brothel's left wing exit you will see a Girl with Oar.



Apply Use command to her, and Anka will take it. Go to the Cactus in the Restaurant and get Sombrero and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hat using Oar. Give ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hat to Vasily Ivanovich and get Papakha in return. Combine Papakha and the Head without the headwear in the Inventory to get Chapaev's Head made of plaster.



Give Chapaev's Head to Hippie at the Arms Shop and get your honestly earned Machine Gun. Pass Machine Gun to Pete and Chapaev and watch the cutscene.
3. ESCAPING THE TOWN

Escape from the Whites' Town
Pete and Chapaev ran away from town. By that time you will have Plaster Oar and Machine Gun in your Inventory. You will see a heap of bottles, and Pete will be itching for some shooting practice. So, take the Machine Gun and shoot the bottles. Don't forget to pick up the undamaged Bottle Neck from the ground. Go up the road.



Get into the Barn. Pick up Corkscrew and Bucket (near the Grand piano). Use Corkscrew to take the Plug out of Barrel.



The Kerosene will start leaking from it. Put the Bucket under the stream of fluid to get Bucket with Kerosene. Leave the Barn and go up to get to the Airplane.

Select Use command so that Pete could open the Valve. Firstly put the Bottle Neck into the inlet of the opened fuel tank and then fill it using Bucket with Kerosene.



Watch the cutscene.
4. OUTSIDE THE TOWN

The Angry Priest
Usinthe the Airplane, Pete and Chapaev manage to shake off the Whites that pursue them, but crash down later. After the cutscene ends, you can go to the right. Thus you will get to the Railroad station. On its platform you will find Sack of Sugar. Selecting and applying Use command, you can talk to the Cashier through the Ticket desk window. However, she won't give you any useful information.


So, return to the Airplane and go in the opposite direction. You will get to Church. Go inside, if you want. Also, you can visit the Cemetery and go down the road until you find yourself at the railroad. If you go down, you will see a way down to the Tunnel. There will be some man with the Oar there. Talk to him. Doing it, will notice that the Tunnel is gradually collapsing and there are Bricks seen here and there. Chapaev can pull out one of these in the front left corner if Pete asks him to.



Then you can get back to the road and go down to the river. There you will see a boat loaded with sugar. Throw your own Sack of Sugar in it, too, and watch the cutscene with the sinking boat. Sugar will soon dissolve in water and you will see the empty boat emerging.

After that, return to the Church. There, to the left of the Curtain, you will find a Hole. Put the Brick inside, and you will get a makeshift button. Select Use command and apply it to Brick in the Hole. That will trigger a cutscene showing the entrance to the Crypt on the Cemetery behind the Church opening.



Inside the Crypt you will find a tunnel. Getting there, you will see another cutscene with Pete getting a thump on the head from the Priest and Chapaev showing the latter who's the boss there. Near the Priest Pete can find Sword.



Talk to Priest. Then you can get back to the riverbank where the boat is waiting for you and cut the rope with your Sword.
The Second Oar
Return to Church; pay attention to the satanist pentagram on the floor. There you will find scary Jaws which Pete can pierce with his sword. Watch the cutscene. Go to Cemetery. There you will see Devastated Grave with Skeleton and Rosary, which the former owner doesn't seem to need anymore.



Get to the Tunnel location and exchange Rosary to the Second Oar. After that you can go to the boat which you couldn't use without oars. Then Pete and Vasily Ivanovich will get to the opposite bank.


The Whites' HQ
When you find yourself on another bank, rush to the house to capture Whites' HQ! Watch the cutscene with aliens. On the fireplace you will see a Lamp; Chapaev can move it in the opposite direction. Pete, in his turn, can pull the lever to the right of the fireplace three times. That will bring up three identical icons and open a secret passage in the fireplace. Go through it.



Watch another cutscene where Chapaev and Pete come out of the basement in Furmanov's house and start chasing the alien which took cover in the Well near Pete's house.
5. VISITING THE ALIENS

Coming off the Ship
The Well will appear to conceal the secret underground passage which will lead Pete and Chapaev to the Spaceship hidden at the riverbed. Watch the cutscene with emergency evacuation. When it ends, you will find yourself in the alien shelter.

If you want, you can try to go out to see the crowd of aliens. Then go to the Cockpit. There, apply Use command to Buttons on the Control Panel to press them. When you do it, you will see a platform with a Small Hammer going down. Pick it up. Find a glass area to the left of the room's door. If you break it with Hammer, the inflatable escape slide for ship's crew will appear. Use it to come off the Ship and get to aliens' HQ.

The Alien Leader
There isn't a map there; developers didn't give names to locations either, so it will be more convenient just describing locations together with the ways of getting there and things to be done.

When the cutscene ends, you will find yourself in the "Elevator" location. It has three paths: up (this path is constantly full of aliens), left and right.

The "Corridor with Lanes" location. To get there, you have to pick the upper path at the "Elevator" location. "Corridor with Lanes" has four paths. The closest one (to the left) leads to the Alien Museum. There you can grab Furmanov's Head kept in the farther left corner of the room.



If you take the next passage, you will get to the Canteen. There you have to talk to the Bartender. If he selects the "spicy" channel, the Eye will appear to watch it. Take the Small Hammer and try to break it. At the first attempt Pete will miss.



Then Pete have to go and speak to the Bartender again to get the task of finding some Beetle Juice. After that you can take the Rag and Remote Control from the Bar Counter. Use Remote Control to switch to the strip show again. When you notice the Eye gets distracted, take the Hammer and try to hit it again. This time Pete is successful! Grab the Broken Eye and apply Use command to it in the Inventory to get the Battery.

Leave the Canteen and move along the corridor to find yourself at another intersection. Going up will get you to "Elevator" location, so choose the path to the right. The first door leads to the Alien Lab. You can take the Vial there, and then Fake Furmanov will capture you.

Escaping from Captivity
Talk to the Alien leader. Then take the Vial and apply it to Vasily Ivanovich. When the cutscene ends, you will realize that the situation turned around and you hold Furmanov captive.



He will tell you that you have to press one of the buttons. Watch the cutscene with our characters go to space followed later by an alien which looks exactly like Furmanov.
The Time Machine
Pick up Plastic Card from the floor. Then select Use command and apply it to the Elevator. You can go right and enter the Lab where Pete and Chapaev were recently captured. This time it will be empty. Pull the lever on the floor which looks like a car transmission shift lever (apply Use command). The Stand will appear. If you put Furmanov's Head on it, you will see the hologram capable of talking.

Furmanov will tell you that there is a Time Machine hidden somewhere on the Ship, and your task is to find it. Don't forget to take the first Bottle from the bath. Go the Bar and use Empty Bottle on the Strange Device. The Bottle will disappear with nothing else happening.
Return to Lab. Apply Use command to the Red Button on the Bath Tub. Before that, there was a jar with Brain in it, but now it is empty.

Use the Plastic Card on the Elevator's Remote. After that Pete and Chapaev will get to the upper floor where the Technician works.


Talk to him, putting more focus on the Time Machine. Finally the Technician will tell you that he needs Battery. Later he will need Rag. Then the Technician will ask you to go out for a while. Go down and immediately return. You will find out that the Technician left and his place was taken by the Programmer. However, the latter won't talk to you. At first you will have to bring him a bottle of water. Pick up the second Empty Bottle from the floor behind the Time Machine. Take it to the Canteen and throw inside the Strange Device, too. That will give you Filled Bottle which you have to give to the Programmer. Talk to him and get permission for a time travel. When the Programmer asks you about time and place, choose "Back to the Future" option.

The next step is easy: return to Furmanov's hologram which will tell you the exact day and time. He will even give you the exact instructions on saving the Galaxy. Then you will have to find the Programmer and talk to him again. He will send you to 1917.



Finding yourself in the train carriage, you will see two Signs: for blank and service ammunition. Select Chapaev and remove them. Now select Take command and swap the Signs. Watch the final cutscene.
