What to do!
  • You are going to want to navigate to wherever you installed the Steam folder on your PC. Once you have found the Steam folder, go to steamapps, then common, then find DEADBOLT.
For example, my path looked like: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\DEADBOLT.
Here you will find the link to deadbolt_map_editor.

    OR

You can right click on DEADBOLT in Steam and go to properties. After clicking on properties, navigate to the Local Files tab up top and then go to Browse Local Files, which will automatically take you to the DEADBOLT folder we found above.

  • Double click deadbolt_map_editor.

  • Check your Steam application, it should give you a install notification that summarizes the file size, the location where it will be stored, etc. Just like when you have installed any other game/software through Steam.

  • Last but not least, navigate to the Library tab at the top of Steam and go to Tools. This is where the Deadbolt Level Editor will be accessible. Double click and have fun creating !
