(NVIDIA only) How to enable Arcade Resolution with no scaling
By thoma5nator
BBCP's sprite art is nice, but its sprites aren't meant for 1080p, instead opting for 768p. Selecting anything else than the native resolution causes ugly scaling. Selecting windowed mode constantly presents you with your desktop, and selecting fullscreen scales it up to your display. Time to change that, eh?

The full sauce
Begin by right clicking on your desktop and selecting 'NVIDIA Control Panel' from the menu.

A menu will appear.

On the left hand side are some options, select the option you see in the image:

Here, attempt to set the options as follows. The 1280x768 does not matter, as long as the rest of the options are similar. For best results, try to set the 'Perform Scaling on:' drop down box to GPU. It might reset if you're connecting a second monitor via Intel Graphics.

To recap text basedly:

Scaling mode: No Scaling

Perform scaling on: GPU (Though display may select itself)

In BBCPEX, launch the game, scroll across to Settings, and select Video Settings. In here, check the game is running in fullscreen mode, then highlight the 'Resolution' option, and scroll across until it says '1280x768'. The resolution will also be white.

This also works for other sprite based titles that are lousy with scaling, such as BBCT/CE

@bronzekey07 I've recently switched to AMD so this is useful for me.

Thanks for the guide! This works for AMD too btw. In AMD Adrenaline go to settings -> display -> set scaling to preserve aspect ratio, then apply the 1280x768 in-game.

If you want the graphical edge you have to buy a 16:10 768p monitor heh
