1. Introduction
This short guide will show you how to change the controls for Wacky Wheels, something that can't be done within the game itself. The default controls can be a bit awkward for the present day gamer and can have the unfortunate side-effect of activating a hotkey that will rotate the entire screen. This guide will also show you how to rotate your screen back and how you can stop this from happening altogether.
2. Changing the controls
1. Navigate to the DOSBox folder in your Wacky Wheels directory. By default it will be something like Steam > steamapps > common > Wacky Wheels > Wacky Wheels > Dosbox. In this folder you will have multiple .exe files for DOSBox. You can use dosbox or dosbox_x64, it doesn't really matter for this guide.
2. Starting the .exe will start DOSBox. Click on the "Main" tab in the top-left and select "Quick Launch".
3. Navigate to a file called setup.exe in the previous folder and select it. It's in Steam > steamapps > common > Wacky Wheels > Wacky Wheels.

4. setup.exe will be launched. The very first option will be "Controls" which is what we want. You can navigate the menus with the arrow keys, enter and escape.
5. Once you are done configuring the controls, use the escape key or the "Leave menu..." option to return to the main screen and then select "Exit setup program" so your changes are saved.
6. That's it! Close DOSBox and just run Wacky Wheels like you did before.
3. How to stop your screen from rotating
The unfortunate side-effect of Wacky Wheels' default controls is that you might end up triggering a couple hotkeys of your system that you might not even have known about. The most common one will rotate your entire screen (not just the game) in a certain direction. This is caused by pressing control + alt + the arrow keys. You can probably reset your screen to it's default orientation by pressing control + alt + the upward arrow key at the same time.

For me this hotkey was part of the Intel Graphics Control Panel software, which you bring up by pressing control + alt + F12 at the same time. Under "Options" you change the hotkeys or disable them altogether. Depending on your system this might not work, in which case I hope a quick Google search will help you. Good luck!
