BloodRayne uncensored patch

If you weren't aware, the PC version of this game has been completely censored. The Nazi imagery like the banners with swastikas were replaced in the game. If you would like to make the PC version look more consistent with the console versions of the game I suggest you grab this uncensored patch.

All versions released outside of Germany were uncut in terms of violence. However, all PC versions (even the US ones), as well as the PAL version for the Xbox, lack swastikas which have been replaced by triskelions (the sign of the GGG). The gameplay video, which is played after a while in the starting screen, does not show any scenes in which swastikas appear. Only the PS2, GameCube and the US Xbox version are uncut. Unfortunately the censorship was done badly. There are two videos, in the manual, in the menu and ingame which show swastikas. SS runes remained untouched. Hitler can be seen on several pictures and he also does the Hitler greeting. Even some sentences from his speech can be heard. Out of this reasons the game has never been released in Germany.

Installing this mod

First you will need to grab the file for the mod.

To install you will need to install the UNCUT.POD from the archive you downloaded to the game directory located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BloodRayne" and then you will need to edit the PC.POD.INI file with notepad and add the lines below.

NOTE: My location was provided as reference but on your PC depending on your steam location this might be different.

You are going to need to change the number from 6 to 7 and add the line for the UNCUT.POD so it looks exactly like this.

Now you can save the file from within notepad and that is it! Now you can play the game the way the developers originally intended!

@Vraz I just downloaded the missing ocx's and put them in the proper folders and registered them using regedit but you don't even need to use raynegun for skins. Just put the .POD files in the installation folder and add them to PCPOD.ini. Make sure the number matches the number of entries in the .ini file and make sure you're using only 1 rayne skin mod at a time. Just for precaution. I assume the game would crash or something if you had 2 different skin mods at the same time.

cant get it to work or any of the skin mods
trying to boot up raynegun gives me a missing tabctl32.ocx or one of its dependancies missing error despite it being in there
