Intro
This guide will attempt to help you become a better demoman, it MAY cover mvm as well, i may have already done this intro in the description, but oh well. I hope you guys and gals find this guide helpful, tell me in the comments. Also after some reccomendations i will put a small lvl guide...thing like this:
4 clip size
Slow reload speed
1 part of clip per reload animation
Or ill just ctrl c, ctrl v it, if it is not melee or stock
Section 1: The grenade launcher
This mighty weapon is very useful as it better be, i mean it is your primary weapon, and best defence, it is used for spamming the enemy, which is the main strategy for a demoman, spam like you have to make a lot of sandviches for the heavy and he will kill you if you don't make enough, but strange phrase aside there is nothing more to say about this weapon besides it's:
4 clip size
Medium reload speed
1 Grenade for the clip per reload animation

This is the loch n load, a weapon witht the following stats:
+20% damage vs buildings
+25% projectile speed
-25% clip size
-25% explosion radius
Launched bombs shatter on surfaces
Now the loch n load is for players who can aim, as you need precision to hit someone, now i think it is a teensy bit underpowered (i don't want -25% explosion radius) in the right hands it can be EXTREMELY useful, now before the "Gun Mettle" update, people said it was overpowered, with the +20% damage to buildings being +20% damage, now i think it is more of a "anti sentry" grenade launcher, so i barely use it, as my demomen are about fun and explosions, not helping the team, well i do help the team, i just use different grenades.

This pair of snow crunchers has a counterpart/reskin called the bootlegger/ 1 foot is boot, 1 is peg leg. Now these boots add the following stats:
+200% increase in turning control while charging
+25 max health on wearer
Melee kills refill 25% of your charge meter.
+10% faster move speed on wearer
But it replaces your grenades (bizarly), but the health is really "health-ful" bad puns aside, these boots are really useful, but take away a portion of the spamming that makes demo what he is, so only to be used if you are: A: a demonight, or B: Confident that your stickies can spam enough, and you just need health/speed, as charging takes out stickies, but i will cover that later.
(Also you cannot use these with cosmetics that are boots eg: Two-fort toothkicker.)

This is a really fun grenade launcher/cannon, as even though you have to put time in, it is useful and powerful, it is just basically fun, and (again) powerful in the right hands, as the double donks do a hell of a lot of damage, oh i almost forgot:

Cannonballs have a fuse time of 1 second; fuses can be primed to explode earlier by holding down the fire key.
+20% projectile speed
Cannonballs push players back on impact
Cannonballs do not explode on impact

Double Donk! Bomb explosions after a cannon ball impact will deal mini-crits to impact victims
It is complicated, but it works, if you master it, it's amazing to use...that is basically it, medium difficulty to use, hard to master.

The B.A.S.E jumper is a parachute...that was it, you fly slower and no fall damage when deployed, but you cannot grenade so only use it for sticky jumper loadout

This is the last grenade launcher, it's stats are:
Grenades have very little bounce and roll
-15% explosion radius
It is a more controlable, but it has that small explosion radius, so is less useful if an enemy is moving and more for a revved up heavy/stunned player/ one that can't move far
Section 2: Sticky bomb launchers and shields
The stickybomb launcher is a great all rounder for spamming and trapping, it has a small arm time of 0.7 seconds, so it cannot be insta exploded, for this one anyway...

This is the first shield, it has a heavy defence against: explosives and fire, and you can charge, but no bonuses there, while other shields have them

This is the scottish resistence the "thinking stickybomb launcher", it has:
+25% faster firing speed
+50% max secondary ammo on wearer
+6 max pipebombs out
Detonates stickybombs near the crosshair and directly under your feet
Able to destroy enemy stickybombs
0.8 sec slower bomb arm time
so it is more of a trap sticky launcher, not a spammer but a trapper, so you have to think where to put it, and where/when to set it off, but there is a stat that is not listed here: you can see the stickies are, and blow up some instead of all of them, so yeah more thinking less spamming

This is the sticky jumper, a weapon that does no damage, but lets you fly around the map better, that is it, he can not take damage, but not hurt anyone else, better with parachute, you can only have 2 stickies out at a time

This is the splendid screen, a shield with the abilities of:
+20% fire damage resistance on wearer
+20% explosive damage resistance on wearer
+70% increase in charge impact damage
+50% increase in charge recharge rate
It is a lot more "charge oriented" so you can charge more, but less resistences

This is the tide turner, it's stats are:
+15% fire damage resistance on wearer
+15% explosive damage resistance on wearer
Full turning control while charging
Melee kills refill 75% of your charge meter.
Taking damage while shield charging reduces remaining charge time
It has less resistances but you are able to turn more, so it is a half-demonight shield, but when taking damage you have less, so it is more for the sneaky demonight, who can get behind, kill a target then loop round, or a different strategy, idk.

This is the quickiebomb launcher, a good weapon with the following stats:
-0.2 sec faster bomb arm time
Max charge time decreased by 50%
Up to +25% damage based on charge
Able to destroy enemy stickybombs
-25% clip size
-15% damage penalty
Stickybombs fizzle 4 seconds after landing
It is the diametric opposite of the scottish resistence, as it is more for spamming than trpping, but you need to hold it, so less firing speed, more damage for spam, (insert sandvich and spam metaphore here)
Section 3: Melee
Demoman, believe it or not, actually became the "melee class" of tf2, So he can counter the vaccinator (covered in a later guide probably) and kill any enemy with his melee, he can even counter a pyro,if he uses the chargin' targe, if other shields he can survive better then no shield, but not as well as the chargin' targe. Anyway, onto the melees

This is the stock demoman melee weapon, it is just like most other classes melee weapons (except scout who does less damage but faster swing speed) There is not much else to say about it

This is the eyelander, a sword for the patient surviving demoman, as the stats are:
This weapon has a large melee range and deploys and holsters slower
No random critical hits
-25 max health on wearer
Gives increased speed and health with every head you take.
This means the eyelander takes 25 health away, and lets you decapitate your enemies to take it back and then get more, up to 210 health you can get, excluding overheal, and it does increase your speed as well, but i only reccommend to a demonight, of at least booties or shield.

This is the pain train, it's stats are:
+1 capture rate on wearer
10% bullet damage vulnerability on wearer
It makes you more of a capture demoman, but crap against heavies, somehow it still does the same damage as a bottle/sword, but i guess the nail brings it up, imagine being hit by the pain train, that would not be good, anyway onto the next melee(little fact: it was originally for the pyro)

This piece of metal is the scotsman skullcutter, it's stats are:
This weapon has a large melee range and deploys and holsters slower
When weapon is active:
+20% damage bonus
15% slower move speed on wearer
It again is more of a "im not having less health" demoknight weapon, who will sacrifise the booties speed and 5% of their regular amount to get extra damage.

This is the ullapool caber, one of valve's most hated weapon, it is so hard to use now, unless you are a demonight for it, it is just useless i mean low damage to enemy, damage to self, etc well these stats killed it (gun mettle update why...he was so young)
20% slower firing speed
This weapon deploys 100% slower
No random critical hits
High-yield Scottish face removal.
A sober person would throw it...
The first hit will cause an explosion
This basically means that if you are a sticky jumper demo, pull it out in air if you can see a target that you can get. If not, then it is hard to use in battle.

This is the clhamendor? No one can say/spell it's name, but anyway...another weapon killed by an update, this time the tough break update, it used to let you charge longer, now it is useless/a worse half-zatoichi (next part) Current stats?:
This weapon has a large melee range and deploys and holsters slower
When weapon is active:
+25 health restored on kill
Melee kills refill 25% of your charge meter.
15% damage vulnerability on wearer
No random critical hits

(Phew second to last one) This is the half zatoichi, a melee weapon for soldier and demoman, it's stats are perfect for a demoknight:
This weapon has a large melee range and deploys and holsters slower
Gain 50% of base health on kill
No random critical hits
Honorbound: Once drawn sheathing deals 50 damage to yourself unless it kills.
Soldiers and Demos
Can duel with katanas
For a one-hit kill
As a demonight cannotswitch weapons it has only 1 downside, no random crits, but if you are a demoknight then most weapons have that, so yeah, not much else to say...

This is the persian persuader a melee weapon mainly for a demoknight, as it's stats are:
This weapon has a large melee range and deploys and holsters slower
Ammo boxes collected give Charge
Melee hits refill 20% of your charge meter.
-80% max primary ammo on wearer
-80% max secondary ammo on wearer
No random critical hits
With demoknight, the downsides are severly reduced, but it doesn't feel powerful enough, i mean maybe if it gave more damage then people would use it more, but alas it sucks mostly, a few sound ideas, covered by a misuse.
Conclusion
This is sadly the end of this small little guide, remember to like and fav if you liked it or it helped, and i will see you all in the next guide, i'll say we have an...interesting idea...

Yup
Tf2 isnt about tryhards, trolling or even playing the game, but the beauty of memories, the beauty of watching someone flail about tryiong to quickscope, you can snigger, you can LOL, but as long as you try to help, or do something they can enjoy with you, for example urnotjustin and thompson, where they got him to his first kill, it just shows the real tf2, and what makes it better in many ways that the thin layers of the annual CoD games

we all find those who fire at glass, those who walk off cliffs way too often, those who squeak in chat, and those who run as spy without disguising, and to help those/heal them is great, trying o help them become better players and supporting them...
That's what tf2s really about. Too true
