Wiimote as a Lightgun
YOU NEED
-Nintendo Wii Remote with Nunchuck (used <5$)
-USB Powered or Wireless Sensor Bar (new <5$)
- A Bluetooth dongle (new <5$) or the Mayflash DolphinBar (~20$) http://www.mayflash.com/products/nintendowiigc/w010.html
- Windows 7 or later (please someone confirm Win7 thx)
- The Touchmote tool from http://touchmote.net/ (free)
- Optional a nice WiiZapper for the right grip (<10$)

NOTICE
New Wiimotes (S/N ending with Z-C4, Z-C6 or C-C4) will not work with Microsoft Bluetooth Stack.You need Wiimote manufactured before November 2011. To get the newer Wiimotes to work you have to use the Mayflash DolphinBar or similar, alternatively you might try to install the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack.

1. Download and Install Touchmote

2. Plug in your Bluetooth dongle and Sensorbar or just the DolphinBar

3. Open Touchmote and Click "Pair Wiimote" to pair one or more Wiimotes to your computer. Press the buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously on the Wiimote to connect it to the computer. If you want the Wiimote to remember the connection, use the SYNC button in the battery compartment instead.

4. Go to settings, controller config, click the + symbol under the Layouts and name it House of the Dead, click to check the two options under the name and link to HOTD_NG.exe

5. Touchmote can not import premade profiles. You will need to drag the outputs from the right into the middle part to make up a profile on your own.

Pointer = Mouse Cursor (Aim)
A = Mouse Right (Grenades)
B = Mouse Left (Shoot)
C = R (Reload)
Z = TAB (Gun Swap)

6. You can now Hold the Home button on the Wiimote for 3 seconds to switch the profiles with the Dpad and the A button.

I was thinking about doing this too. Glad I know it works.
