Introduction
Since there are currently no achievement guides for this game, here's one for all you achievement hunters out there. I don't consider this guide a walkthrough but you may find some helpful hints if you're stuck. Please feel free to leave comments & suggestions! This is my first guide so be gentle ;) I'd be happy to keep this guide updated with extra info and anything I might have missed.

I wrote this guide on my second playthrough after getting all of the achievements myself, so it's very possible I'm unaware of other possible methods to get some of these. Also keep in mind that certain achievements may need updated as the game itself is so if anything changes do let me know. Thanks for reading! Have fun and I hope you enjoy the game and it's easter eggs as much as I did! ^^
Story Related Achievements
These 14 achievements are story related and can't be missed. Simply play through the story and you will get them in this order! Check the spoilers for more detailed information or if you're stuck and looking for hints.

I can do a thing or two
Calibrate the plasma cutter - complete the puzzle to calibrate your plasma cutter for the construction robot. it is on the table in the kitchen next to your tools.

Quick charge
Use the dock-station - once you get a warning that your battery is low, simply walk over to the dock-station next to your bed and use it. you will need to complete another puzzle in order to power it first. look for the power panel near the front door.

Buckle up
Witness the shuttle crash - you will get this automatically after the cutscene showing the shuttle rudely crashing in your yard

Now you know
Discover humans - find the wires in the maintenance closet aboard the ship, the actuator in the corner near the pilot and resuscitate him to get (most of) the door code to the hold. you will need to enter this in the pilot's console and then enter the hold to trigger the cutscene.

Hands up!
Find yourself in a vulnerable position - you'll get this one from the cutscene of you leaving the ship and being surrounded by the police

Short circuit
Pass out because of an EMP-grenade explosion - this one is directly after the previous achievement as the cutscene ends and you black out

Sysadmin
Start the server - in the hospital, Nick will ask for your help to start the server in the basement to provide internet to the group. naturally it's not going to be that simple, so you'll need to finish a series of tasks and puzzles to do this. it will require a little bit of running back and forth between floors picking up items. the handle for the switches will be right outside the server room and the large fuse and missing chip will be found on the 1st floor.

There is another way
Enter the informer's apartment - since the apartment door is inaccessable, you will need to find an alternative method of entering. go outside to inspect the fire escape ladder, back inside to inspect the pipe on the wall, outside again to collect the small brick to break it off, and then use the large cement block and pipe to pull down the ladder. similar to how most animals lack opposable thumbs, you are evidently a robot who lacks the ability to jump. so much for being superior.

Hacker
Crack a safe - get this by cracking the safe in the informer's apartment. the information to locate it can be found in an email on the computer. after contacting the others and completing the puzzle you can open the safe.

Ace
Survive a pursuit - while on your way to disable the jammers, an armed police drone will chase you through the forest. survive long enough until it explodes Star Wars style into a tree.

Found it!
Calculate the location of the lab - acquired after disabling both jammers and contacting Nick.

Not what it seems
Discover the entrance to the lab - once you reach the location where the lab can be found, you will find a terminal in the mountains that opens the lab's hidden entrance. the keycard can be found on the dead human up against a tree outside.

Goody
Use the decontamination chamber - given in one of the two decontamination chambers in the hidden lab. one is skippable but the other will force you to wait until it is complete.

That's much better!
Start generators - find the generator room in the hidden lab and start it by completing a puzzle on the nearby computer
Missable Achievements
This section covers the 18 missable achievements that can be found in the game. You'll be able to get these by inspecting certain items and/or performing certain actions at different points throughout the game.

Meticulous
Read all notes - read all 6 notes found throughout the game (I don't believe tablets count, but if so I will gladly add their locations):

Note 1: Located in your house at the beginning of the game. It is on the floor in front of the couch.



Note 2: Found on the wall in the hospital basement's server room, between the chips and the console.



Note 3: In the informer's apartment, on the window sill between the computer console and the dock-station.



Note 4: Once you enter the basement of the bar, this note can be found in the left corner of the room near some children's toys and pallets.



Note 5: At the 2nd jammer in the tower, you will find this note on the bed along with some Firewatch references.



Note 6: Found in the sleeping quarters in the hidden lab, on a bench next to a crowbar on the left side of the room.



Note 7: Near Note 6 in the sleeping quarters in the hidden lab, on the floor on the right side of the room.



If you managed to get them all, you will get this achievement as the final cutscene starts.

Lucky dog
Die not even once - acquired by completing the game without dying. you can die by refusing to help the renegade robots, being shot down by the police drone in your aero-car or by being shot by the turrets in the hidden lab. trying to escape from the robot in the bar's basement may also get you killed, but I have not tested this. I also have not tested if returning to the menu and continuing your game from the last checkpoint if you have died will still allow you to get this achievement, but I imagine it does. Lastly, I found that keeping the crashed ship pilot's memory card until getting to the hidden lab and using it on the main console helped a lot. He will automatically disable the turrets during dialogue, so you will be able to leave the main console room safely. I was unable to get this option during my first playthrough without him but I may have simply asked the wrong questions with the default lab's AI. If you managed to survive every encounter, you will get this achievement when the final cutscene starts.

Curious
Check the contents of the data disk - you can find the data disk between the dock-station and the closet doors on top of a pile of crates where a tool box is sitting. pick it up and use it to interact with your computer console to inspect the files.

Silent
Keep silent while talking to the customer - when the construction robot contacts you on your computer console after repairing the radio, simply choose the "stay silent" option for every dialogue choice. if you're worried about your dialogue choices you can always return to the menu and continue from the last checkpoint, it's only several minutes into the game after all. the construction robot is a condescending jerk though so you might as well.

Every little helps
Extract the memory ship from the pilot - after you resuscitate the damaged pilot in the shuttle, you will have the option to interact with him to remove his memory chip to decide what to do with later. you'll get the achievement right after removing it.

Uncertain
Express incredulity - after you wake up from being overloaded by the EMP grenade, you will speak with the medical robot. at the point where he explains that you must either join them or be disintegrated, you must respond with "I have to help" because you don't have a choice in the matter.

Everybody lies
Check an unknown item - you can find this one in the hospital room where Abigail and Nick are located. leaning against a table at the back of the room next to the medical tablet is a cane you can inspect.

The Walking Robot Among Us
Find two unusual objects - this one will probably need to be updated. i believe the first unusual object you can find is the ship in a bottle at the far room of the hospital where Gregory is located. it may also be the gas can or the taxi car outside of the building to the informer's apartment. this is where i got the achievement, so i'm not sure of what other objects count for this after. please comment if you know of others! i can only guess the others based on the character's reaction. the drum set in the bar as well as the teddy bear and trunk in the bar's basement may also count.

Trick or Treat?
Trick or Treat? - before entering the informer's apartment, there will be a door on the first floor of the building you can interact with, on the left at the end of the hall. knock on it twice to get this achievement

Annoying
Knock on the apartment door - knock on the same door a total of 4 times to get this one. we prefer the word persistent.

Not as clumsy or random
Check the revolver - in the informer's apartment you will find the antique revolver in the desk drawer where the computer console is. inspect it for a Star Wars reference and the achievement.

He is just a child
Break a bottle in the bar - at The Core bar, interact with the bottle on the bar counter and you will discover that you found a broken bottle on the floor. how strange.

Accurate
Pocket all balls at the pool - for this one you need to successfully complete the action sequence at the pool table in The Core by pressing the correct key at the right time. you'll need to complete all 3 but if you fail you can return to the main menu and continue to try again.

Please oh pleeease!
Please, releaste it already! - in the bar, the Core, inspect the middle poster on the far wall to get this Half-Life easter egg achievement. (may also require interaction with the crowbar in the hidden lab next to the note, also a Half-Life reference)

Hipster
Try on the hat - near the wardrobe at the far wall of the Core, there will be a hat located on a stand. you have no idea what this strange object is and cannot tell a hat apart from a jockstrap, so you'll have to inspect the poster on the wall depicting the man wearing the hat on his head first. then you will be able to interact with it and try it on. don't feel bad. you may not know what a jockstrap is but you're probably the only robot who knows how a hat works now.

Perfect hearing
Pick the audio code without a hint - in the Core, use the key to open the wardrobe and enter the audio key without getting a hint from the game. to find the correct key, you need to match the notes on the jukebox's 2nd song. the correct sequence is GCGF

Concrete painting
Admire the painting - in the basement of the Core, you will see some chalk drawings on the floor. admire it. (may be considered story related)

Blade Runner
Escape the fire from the turrets by yourself - for this one, you'll have to avoid being shot by the turrets guarding the main console room in the hidden lab by running past them without being detected and without the aid of the bot found on the left wall. with the right timing, you can run directly through the middle or try using the containers on the right side for cover.

Just a quick note, I got the "Lucky dog" achievement by pressing ALT+F4 whenever I died at the turrets !
I died like 4 times trying to get Blade Runner but by just quitting with ALT+F4 as soon as I got the static screen, it didn't count!

Got "Annoying" but "Trick or Treat" won't unlock, I even reset. Any ideas as to why that is?

You can get Lucky Dog if you keep reloading RIGHT when you die. Just got it.

Meticulous:

1. Starting House: A note on the floor next to the sofa in the main room of your home
2. Robot HQ: Tablet computer on a table in a room with two robots
3. Robot HQ: A note on the wall above the router in the server room.
4. Informant's home: The tablet computer is on the coffee table in the informant's room.
5. Informant's home: The note is on the windowsill in the informant's room.
6. Core bar: A note on a table under the three posters.
7. Core bar: A note next to a child's drawing in the basement.
8. Forester's tower: A note on the bed in the forester's tower.
9. Hideout in the cliff: Tablet computer on the table in the conference room.
10. Hideout in the cliff: The note is on a row of chairs in the living quarters of the lab.
11. Hideout in the cliff: The note is on the floor next to the beds in the living quarters of the lab.
12. Hideout in the cliff: A tablet computer is on one of the work tables in the room with the main laboratory terminal.

During the chase in forest I realized that I missed one document in the bar, I proceeded to power on the lab and replace my save with save provided by Sassy Snek. Continued story as normal, got shot by turrets (exited to main menu as soon as death screen was displayed, I did not died anywhere else before/after), I didn't use pilot memory in main terminal, I interacted with 2 notes and I believe one pad. Got the achievements Lucky dog and meticulous at first attempt. Thank you for providing save game:)
