Starter-Platform-Base-v1

Description
This starter base is the very first thing I always build on survival (even hard) mode or multiplayer (MP) games and has served me really well so far. Very cheap platform (Level 1), which can be used as the stepping stone to build upon as you get materials. The platform was made of concrete and it is easy placeable in any flat (-ish) surface. It was designed to be as cheap as possible (few ingots from your shuttle + dirt), with enough space to even land comfortably your first CV on it (fits perfectly the cheap CV_Prefab_Tier1).

-----
Features:
- Unlock Level: 1 (starter, no XP required)
- Size Class: 1 (WxHxD): 35x1x20
- Dimensions: 70x40 (WxD) @ 280t
- Devices: 1 (core)

- 1400 Rock Dust
- 20 Copper Ingot
- 20 Silicon Ingot
- 20 Cobalt Ingot
- 10 Iron Ingot

My usual plan of survival is:

MP survival server:
After a quick look around, if no ore deposits are found (or are camped - usually) and don't seem to be able to find any meteorites soon, I start digging dirt and have my starter constructor making rock dust around the place I plan to build the platform. Not bothered about location (usually close by to some water for oxygen), as further along when enough ore is gathered more advanced structures can be build. Aim is to progress up-to a working turret (cannon) fast enough for protection against wildlife and nasty enemies (small ammo box, generator and fuel tank).

Single player survival:
This base has served me well on vanilla survival modes starting on Akua and Omicron, especially when night falls and you are low on ammo (run, jump on platform and no monster can touch you). On Masperon, pending on seed, sometimes you have to travel quite a bit to find a suitable surface to place the platform due to its size. Often I build it half and half on water and land and go exploring from there.

On hard mode, you have no starting mats from your pod, so you do need to explore to gather the basic ore required for the base core by which time you probably have gained enough experience to consider an cheap alternative more compact base, such as my Starter-Platform-Base-v2 or the excellent Driftwood house base.

Note that my version 2 of this platform has on it all the initial goodies you need to make life easier at min Level 3. Please leave your feedback about this base to let me know what you think and Happy New Year everyone!

In the real space, yes, but in the game i am not sure at all. It's really funny because i just discover that you probably point a sort of big bug or incongruity. In fact, in the game, if i go out of a SV in space and push it, it should go away and don't stop no ? But, let's try this and i am probably sure that it will not move more (if it moves !) than several meters. I am going to verify it but if i remember correctly it will not move away indefinitivly as it should or would do in real space. So neither the platform...if it can be built in space.

Not 100% certain but I believe any structure in space needs to be anchored, for example an asteroid, otherwise anything that touches it would push it out of placement.

I really love this landing pad.Very cheap and easy to add to as you go along. Its also ideal for building or repairing your ships and HVs.

I'd like to thank you for the hard work you put into it and for sharing it with us.
