Set Resolution to 4:3 / Prevent Stretching

NVIDIA

1. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel
2. Click "Adjust desktop size and position" under the 'Display' section
3. Use the following scaling settings:

Check off "Aspect Ratio"
Perform scaling on: GPU
Check off "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs

4. Click "Apply"

AMD

May contain errors

1. Open the AMD Catalyst Control Center
2. Go to "Properties (Digital Flat-Panel)" under "My Digital Flat-Panels"
3. Use the following image scaling preferences:

Check off "Enable GPU up-scaling"
Check off "Maintain aspect ratio" under "Preferred Scaling Mode"

4. Click "Apply"

Fix Dialog Cut-off / Enable Vertical Sync

NVIDIA

This requires downloading a third-party, open source program. The vertical sync setting found within the NVIDIA Control Panel has not worked for me.

1. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel; go to "Manage 3D Settings" under "3D Settings"
2. Click the "Program Settings" tab and select "Game.exe (game.exe) from the drop-down menu. Add if it doesn't appear.
Hint: Look for the icon with a white background and a mammoth in the middle
3. Download NVIDIA Profile Inspector[www.guru3d.com] and run "nvidiaProfileInspector.exe"

4. In NVIDIA Profile Inspector, click the small house icon on top of the toolbar and select "game.exe"
5. Find "Frame Rate Limiter" under the section "2 - Sync and Refresh" and select "[~] 60.7 fps"
6. Click "Apply changes"

AMD

This may contain errors as I don't have an AMD card to test this with.

1. Open the AMD Catalyst Control Center; go to "Frame Rate" under "Performance"
2. Check off "Maximum Frame Rate" and set the slider to 60 fps.
3. Click "Apply"
ALTERNATIVE
1. Download and install MSI Afterburner[www.msi.com]

2. Enable OSD (On-screen display)
3. Set a keyboard for OSD
4. Restart MSI Afterburner
5. While running OSD, an app called "RivaTuner" will appear in your system tray. It looks like the afterburner icon but with a purple "60"
6. Open RivaTuner, go to options (click the wrench icon) and enable the frame rate limiter at 60 fps.

Haven't tested on AMD, but I think this is a much more simple and probably universal solution:

1) Download github/ThirteenAG/d3d8-wrapper/releases/download/d3d8-wrapper-v1.38/d3d8.zip
2) Unpack DLL and INI file to the game folder
3) Edit INI file with Notepad and set FPS limit to 60

Thanks PabloAntonioVG THIS WORKS: Rivatuner Statistics Server [www.guru3d.com] [ www.guru3d.com ]. Set the Framerate limiter to 58 and make sure it's running when you launch Syberia 2.

The second game that doesn't work. The dialog is cut-off. It looks like the game runs too quick. Unfortenately the pictures above are too small to read. Trying to enlarge them gives an error message: Invalid URL.

Dialog fix for me was not working, but I found the fix somewhere else. Just download latest release of this dll a copy it to the folder with the game: https://github.com/crosire/d3d8to9

Solved using "Eviction Notice" infos.
You have to download d3d8 and its config.

Rivatuner Statistics Server worked for me aswell, thanks a lot..playing through the syberia series 1-3 before the new game comes out on the 10th December :)
