Crackadalion's English Achievement Guide
By The Crackadalion Death <3
This is going to be a guide that I make for a large portion of achievements as I progress through the game, and eventually 100% Valley. This will be the first one I have made, and I am expecting this to take awhile so I can make it in depth. I hope that everyone can follow it well, or it is atleast a good guide. Comment below or add and message me if i have incorrect information, or it is hard to follow, and I will make changes ASAP.

Arborcide/Tree Hugger

Arborcide: Kill 50 trees
Tree Hugger: Revive 100 trees

Find yourself a beautiful tree, a tree so beautifully dead or alive that you just sit there for awhile looking at your friend. Now walk close to it, and spam the hell out of your left and right mouse button until you have killed your friend and revived him enough times for this achievement to pop.
Carnivore

You can do this one of two ways. For the achievement to pop, you need only kill 20 animals. As I said, there are two ways one can go about this.

1) Murder every animal you see, whether it be bird, green floating daemon, doe, or rabbit in this valley even after you have killed 20 for the achievement because you are a heartless murderer, or
2) Succumb a doe to an eternity of agony from 20 constant deaths and 19 revivals, and save all other animals and daemons alike from the cold clutches but forever loving embrace of death
HeadHunter
This achievement calls for killing 25 dark creatures. Right now I feel like these guys are protecting their land, and we are probably killing innocent souls defending their homelands. However, we continue to kill them en mass for this achievement, and suck away their life force to be used by our LEAF suit.

Who's the real monster? The answer is obvious: the dark creatures. End their existence.

Oh and this can be done in one sitting at the Soma Facility, you find alot there.
Like an Eagle
For this achievement, you need to spend 20 minutes in the air total, not all at once it is accumulated. I did this just after finishing my first playthrough, but a good area to do this is the place with all of the rails, where you get the upgrade to go sanic speedz.
Her Darkest Hour
In Camp Heneday, you will evetually pass through a corridor with some jail cells on the right side.
Walk up the first set of stairs to the second floor, also with jail cells on your right, and turn around. The radio can be found on the floor near the bed in the farthest jail cell to your left.
Archaeologist
You will need 30 medallions to open up the pyramid door. I had 57 by the time i got to it so you should be fine. There is a second door, which you need 40 medallions to enter... time to grind cause i dont have that many yet.
This. Is. VALLEY.
In the proving grounds, there is a pit in the ground behind the ruin door you wil be required to open. In the area are several dark creatures. Murder their meaningless existence forever, or until you reload the area, and jump into that pit like it is the last thing you would ever do in this specific timeline... which it is. Because death.
Final Form
This achievement can be finished by playing through the campaign, except for the 2 final optional upgrades. In order to get both of these, you will need a total of 70 medallions in order to access both doors in the pyramid in Smoke Lake.

I am unsure whether the Raptor suit counts for this achievement or not, so i will show how to find it in here just in case.
Location: Wendigo Lake
Requirements: water skipper

Remember the area where you have to double jump onto the small ledge? (Look at Full Power: Wendigo Lake) Well there are two small islands in the lake behind that.
You will need to water skip onto the first one to the left, and then go to the one on the right further into the lake.

Continue forward through the cave entrance and you will see the raptor suit crate, as well as a crate with a medallion in it.
Full Power: Explanation
This part of the guide will cover where to find the large crates with the energy upgrade for an entire energy bar, not the small ones that are 1/4th of a bar upgrade. There is another guide that explains this in detail, and I decided to give picture explanations on how to find the larger upgrades.
In other words, this is not a full guide for the Full Power achievement as the smaller crates are not included.
Full Power: Wendigo Lake
You are going to need the double jump upgrade for this energy upgrade, as well as 16 acorns.

The beginning of the semi-confusing directions to this upgrade start at the area where you first find the blue orbs of energy, after you acquire the L.E.A.F. suit and have revived (or left to eternal agony) the doe on the ground. Immediately after you have made the second jump over water (past the dead doe), you will see a small cliff to the left, as well as a large boulder.

On the picture to the left, my cursor is over the rock you will go to.
You will need to run up this rock and double jump onto the cliff, above the water, where I am in the picture on the right.

After this, continue forward until you reach a fork in the road, then turn right up the hill and immediately turn left. Continue forward until you have passed your third pillar. You should pass one on the right, then on the left, and stop at the third one, which will be on the right.

Turn left at the third pillar in between these large rocks, and jump down into the area below. If you turn right, you should see a clearing of trees. In there is a crate with a medalion. For the energy upgrade, turn to your left. Soon you will pass through some crumbled ruins, and find some stairs.
Pass these stairs by continuing forward to the right, and you will find the acorn door.

Inside you will find the energy upgrade.
Full Power: Susurrus Valley

The Double Jump upgrade will be found through story progression and is necessary for both. Once found...

->>>>>Energy Capacity Upgrade: (refer to Susurrus Valley "The 8 Pages" to reach the area with that slendermen page to get to this point)
In the same area as the slendermen page, continue down the slope towards the lake. Optionally, wait until you have the water walking upgrade and simply go over the water behind the first obelisk to the far right in Susurrus Valley, from the giant tree

Continue along the shoreline until you see an area open up (should take maybe a couple of seconds to see it to your left). In that area, you have to jump onto a small ledge with a cave opening. In the following image i am in front of it and the cursor is on the cave entrance.

Continue through the cave to the end (a straight shot) until you see a crate and an upgrade crate.

.

->>>>>Energy Capacity Upgrade:
Upon encountering your first Amrita swarm, walk to the ramp on the left and go up it. Follow along it and keep going up until you reach the metal platform above the Amrita Swarm.

so jump here and go through the hole in the wall

Jump up the ledge and walk up these

You will find yourself up here in this area, you'll need to get a running start and double jump into the walkway, where you will find an energy capacity upgrade. This also happens to be the way out of the level.

Full Power: Titan Rock
>>>>>Energy Capacity Upgrade

It is very hard to miss this one. You can find this soon after receiving the Viper Coil Upgrade. Once you get to this location, you will see the closed door with an acorn symbol on top of it. I think you will need about 12 acorns to open up the door. On the inside is the crate with the upgrade.
Full Power: Soma Facility

After you jump over this small corridor of water, turn to your right before continuing down. There, you will see an acorn door.
You will need 26 acorns I believe, and inside is another energy upgrade crate.
Full Power: Smoke Lake

This acorn door is really hard to miss, and as always i keep forgetting the exact number of acorns neeed. I think it was 14. But when you get to the tree surrounded by bugs, turn left and you will see the door. Inside is another energu upgrade.
Pathfinder Training
Refer to the Spelunker: Susurrus Valley portion of the guide

Requirements: magnetic core
Spelunker
This section will exclude acorn doors that contain one of the 8 pages or a door from the Full Power section of this guide

>>>>>Susurrus Valley
You will need the magnetic core upgrade

When you get to the area in the ruins with the gigantic tree, go forward to the left and exit the area, and then make a hard left outside,

Go up the metal platforms on the side of the rock and you will find a camp with several crates.
To the right is an acorn door, which will cost 21 acorns to open. Inside are some medallions and a small energy upgrade ( not the full bar one).

At the same time, you will unlock the Pathfinder Training Achievement.

>>>>>Susurrus Valley Pt. 2

You do not need any upgrades for this door, only 13 acorns. When you get out of the ruins and are standing in front of the Titan tree, go out the left side and continue along until you get to the ruins with the far left obelisk.
There is an acorn door here, but that is essential to the story. The one we want for this part is farther in. Pass the ruins and go towards the lake, turning to the left. You should see more or less a long trail passing along the shoreline.

Continue along this until you get near the end.
On the right side of the mountain will be an acorn door, requiring 13 acorns to open. Inside are some smaller energy upgrades.

>>>>>Proving Grounds

For this door, you will want to stay to the left after you get to the area shown below... the proving grounds.
Take the viper coil to the left, and continue on past the second one you see.
When you come upon this third one, on the left, swing on it onto the ledge and you will see an acorn door, which will take 24 acorns to open.

The 8 Pages
This section will be for the 8 pages you can find throuhout the game as an Easter Egg for Slenderman. Nice little addition by the Devs in my opinion. I am not sure how it adds progress to this achievement, so what I did was simply stand close in front of it until it said "unintelligle sketchings"
>>>>>Wendigo Lake

Once entering the ruins (After giving energy to the three trees with bugs) continue until you reach the main room.

If you go forward a couple steps and look right, you will see a ledge.

In order to jump up onto this, i had to use double jump, so you may need to return here when you obtain that upgrade unless you can figure out how to get there wiithout it. Once on the ledge, walk to the wall touching the left side of the stairs. Search around a bit until you find the page, which is at eye level.

>>>>>Susurrus Valley

Immediately after getting the double jump upgrade, you will be shot out of the ground to the miitary camp place. Once you land, walk to your right and in a small inlet, you can see the following:

Go down here and follow the path, using double jump to get over the water. Be careful as it is easy to miss your landing, or atleast it was for me. As you follow the path, you will go up a hill and enter this area:

See where the small cliff/ledge to the left ahead of you? It is possible to get up there with double jump. It is quite easy, but may take a couple tries ( go from the right side).
When you get on top, walk towards the back and you will see some trees. Behind one of these is another page.
Two down

>>>>>Titan Rock

Upon reaching the are in Titan Rock with a line of blue orbs and a ramp to jump off of, rather take a light jog to the ramp, and turn left. You will see another ramp going down to a row of rocks. Follow this to the end, and turn around.
Continue going along with the rocks and you will find a cave entrance. Inside, go forward and you will find an opening on the left. Inside there will be a "Help Me" slendermen note,as well as some crates.

>>>>>Soma Facility

This one is really easy to find and caught me by surprise, I had not expected itto be an easy find. But once you reach this room, the note is towards the back right column when standing in front of the statue and lookin at it.

>>>>>Soma Reactor
Wow. This place is... just wow. Fun is a word.
Once you have jumped over this gap, you will run into the following place below.
When you are here, stop and go onto the platform to your right.
Turn around, or to the right, and you will see this on the wall in the direction from where you just came from.

>>>>>Camp Henday

This one can be found after you have killed several of the floaty things that shoot orange at you. And once you get to this open area:
Towards the middle right of my picture, to the right of the green reticle, there is an open container.

Inside of it you can find another page.

>>>>>Proving Grounds
This one is very easy to find. When you get to the proving grounds with all the viper coil things, just drop to the floor and run all the way to the end. Watch out, as there are about 4 dark creatures waiting.

When you get to the tent with some crates around it, turn left and go to the wall with the tree close to it in the screenshot. On the back of that tree is another note.

>>>>>Smoke Lake
This will need the water skipping upgrade, which you will get before encoutering this page. You will find yourself to be skipping madly over water and enjoying youself as you skim like bugs and ducks do on water, the lucky bastards. Eventually, you will come upon an island with stairs. As soon as you get to the last stair, move diagnally to the forward right and you will come upon a camp filled with 4 dark creatures.

Kill them all, and you can find several crates. After scavenging, move forward to the shoreline and follow it forwads.

Soon you will see a brown tree a bit inland with a white note on it.

Thanks for the useful guide.

Can confirm the Raptor suit is not needed for Final Form, just the upgrades acquired from playing through normally plus the two in the pyramid.

You can actually get to the first page without any upgrades. There's a tall, bit tower like rock right next to that big black creepy image. if you jump just exactly on the top of it, you can actually stand on it. If you are not precise, you will slide off. If you manage to stand on it, you can jump up and just barely catch the edge and get your self up there with another jump. Tricky (took me a good 10 minutes) but doable.

The Crackadalion Death <3  [author] 21 Nov, 2017 @ 2:41pm
Ah, i forgot about that, my bad
Alcator 21 Nov, 2017 @ 2:26pm
Blackpot: It only means you have discovered all the energy powerups, suit upgrades etc. - but it does not confirm if you've discovered the "page" in that level.
