Just a small quick guide for collectibles and M-COMs, I'll try to just get straight to the point. No fuss, no muss :)

Warning: This guide is writen in the order of weapons > M-COMs, this doesn't mean that in-game you'll always find every weapon before you get to find any M-COM; M-COM numerical order is safe to follow however... take that as you will.

This guide is just a "filtered" version of http://www.ign.com/faqs/2010/battlefield-bad-company-2-weapons-m-com-guide-1075563 all credits to simalcrum and anyone who helped them.

No actual collectibles/M-Coms for the levels Operation Aurora and Force Multiplier but you can start unlocking weapons since Cold War.

Cold War
XM8 S -- Preston Marlowe's (your character) default weapon.

AN94R -- From the first patrol of Russians.

TOZ194 -- Also from the first patrol of Russians.

T88 LMG -- The Russian officers near the bus barricade in town.
Heart of Darkness
(unique) Spas 12 -- First village, after clearing it you can roam freely until boarding the boat, check each of the dockhouses along the rickety wooden pier. One of the boathouses has a weapons tin with the Spas on top.

AEK 971 -- The SoAm paramilitaries use this weapon.

M2CG -- Found in a weapon tin to take out the PBL riverboat, can be found later in-game as well.

T88 SR -- This is a precision rifle near the ammunition drop from Flynn/Ghost
Rider; you know, the one atop the pyramid.

T88 LMG R -- In the second village (after descending the pyramid), dropped from enemies, has red-dot sight.

TOZ194 S -- On a weapons tin in the second village. (slug ammo)

M-COM 1 -- After getting off the boat in the river, you will be ambushed by paramilitaries
rising out from the ground using Ghillie cover. About here, you will have a
fork in the river; right takes you under a rope bridge to the lumber yard,
and left leads you out of the water to a dark corner of the map. Take the left
path and you should find it.

M-COM 2 -- At the top of the pyramid near the weapons locker (the weapon locker with the parachute), you will find the M-COM humming noisily nearby. Since your movements are now so restricted, keep your eyes peeled for tricky details and likely hiding spots.
Upriver
AEK 971 R -- The paramilitaries have it.

T88 S -- The scoped version of the T 88 is awarded free after the sniping sequence.

SPAS 12 S -- Enough of the enemies drop this that you should find it if
you're looting bodies.

MP443 -- This handgun is unlocked after the hostage sequence.

M-COM 1 -- After the sniping sequence, Marlowe rejoins Bad Company in the village. Loiter
at the village for a bit. Locate two blue boats under a green tarp. From there,
go up a short flight of stairs on the pier, turn 90 degrees left and start
walking. At the first torch, turn right. There should be an M-COM in the
dockhouse you're looking at.

M-COM 2 -- At the second village (it is now daytime and you spotted the village from the
cliffside), pacify the area and explore the village. There should be one main
dirt road running through this hovel. As you leave the village (on the road)
towards the surveil point, you should see a building (to your right) with a
preset T88 LMG resting next to it. Check that building for the M-COM.
Crack the Sky
(unique) SCAR-L -- Identify and locate the two back-to-back emplaced weapons overlooking the level's escape vehicle (the off-road buggy). While standing between the two emplacements, position the buggy behind Marlowe. To Preston's right will be an ammunition crate; go there and you'll be near the edge of the map. Turn left and you'll spot a short flight of stairs. At the top of those stairs will be a weapons tin with the basic SCAR-L (Mk.17). If you pick-up the SCAR-L in a later mission, it will satisfy this stage's weapons unlockable condition. For the purpose of the achievement/trophy, this weapon is considered a submachinegun.

USAS-12 S -- Before heading up the stairs towards the emplaced machinegun/pillbox, there is an open cargo container (large steel box about one story high) at the foot of the stairs; an ammunition supply crate is nearby. Check this cargo container for a weapons tin with this weapon.

M85 -- After passing the machinegun nest on the stairs, don't head for the
satellite control room yet. There is another pillbox overlooking the base, with
an enemy marksman using a T88 S. Check the walkway the marksman is on for this
weapon.

SCAR-L S -- Sweetwater will have hacked the satellite. After clearing the area
near the buggy (tip: press D-PAD up to use third person while driving), there
is a green weapons tin near the stairs with this scoped version of the SCAR-L
(it is not the weapon unlockable for this stage).

M-COM 1 -- At the M85 pick-up, check the storehouse of the nearby watchtower.

M-COM 2 -- To the buggy's left, there's a building with an M-COM. Make sure to do everything you have to before getting in the buggy or you'll regret it.
Snowblind
(unique) USAS12 -- After defending the satellite, one is lying right next to
the weapons locker. Additionally, there are one or two in the cabins throughout
this second area of the map.

M-COM 1 -- The western portion of the second map (after defending the satellite, and you are in the midst of a blizzard) is an upside down U. On the northern curve in this particular part of the map, there is a toolshed next to a heated cabin. The M-COM is in there.

M-COM 2 -- The center portion of the second map (again, in the blizzard) is the southern
most part -- and it runs east-west. In the middle of this section (before going
north then east towards the exfil point), there are some cabins around a diesel
generator. These cabins will be in range of enemy grenadiers (using
emplacements) so some may have holes in the walls as you arrive. Atop one of
these cabins is the M-COM. This means you have to go upstairs with a full heat
(or T-ENG) bar, place the charge, and get the hell back down before you die
from hypothermia.
Heavy Metal
(unique) MG3 -- After calling in the airstrikes, Bad Company heads into town to locate the HVT. After crossing the river, follow the wrecked main street until you spot the wreckage of a red car. Directly across the street of the wreck is a weapons tin with the basic MG3. If you cannot find this weapon, a later pick-up (in the next stage) will satisfy this stage unlockable.

M-COM 1 -- After destroying the first nest of TOW soldiers, Marlowe dismounts from the
tank to operate the UAV. Use this time to locate a guard tower in the distance
(past the nearby big windmill). The M-COM is there. You can get it after you
use the airstrikes on the second TOW strongpoint (although it is on helluva
long walk).

M-COM 2 -- After dismounting the tank (the second time) and entering the town, Bad Company will be ambushed by a .50 Caliber Emplaced gun. Stay on the road and walk towards the gun; on your left should be a red house kinda in the corner. The M-COM should be inside.
High Value Target
XM8 -- The standard version of Marlowe's default rifle is available from the
dead marines.

M-COM 1 -- After dismounting the vehicle, locate the weapons locker. Place it to your right and follow the road. While walking towards the next objective point, there will be a red building to your right. Turn right 90 degrees at the red building and check the rubble beyond for this M-COM.

M-COM 2 -- At the streamlet where the drainage tunnel entrance is. It's generally to your left as you approach the the water.
Sangre Del Toro
(unique) F2000 -- The eastern intel point (after you get three locations to investigate). It's near the M-COM and the laptop Marlowe and his buddies hack. In fact, the tin its on is under the same tent.

(unique) M60 -- The center intel point (after you get three locations to investigate). Check the fountain courtyard where you had to battle the Russians who rappelled from two troop choppers.

AN94 S -- Soldiers at the center intel checkpoint had this weapon.

M60 S -- The western and easter intel points have this weapon on tins. At the eastern point, check the walkway around the lighthouse. At the western point, there is one near the intel laptop.

M-COM 1 -- The western intel point. Visit this location first, since there are a lot of enemies and choppers fighting you. The M-COM is on the round parapet near the TOW tubes and the other expendable rocket launchers.

M-COM 2 -- The center intel point (the one at the big castle). From the supply drop, drop off the balcony and walk towards the stone archway. Once you pass under the archway, turn around (there are stairs on the side) and get up to the secret room at the top. The M-COM is inside.

M-COM 3 -- The eastern intel point. Hop past the wreckage on road and follow it (you may want to clear this area of snipers first). While walking on the road, there are two palm trees on your left side; turn left once you pass them, and there should be a shack/garage with an M-COM next to a humming diesel generator.

M-COM 4 -- The eastern intel point has a second M-COM at the light house. It's near the
intels laptop (same tent) about 10 steps from the F2000.
No One Left Behind
M85 S -- Some paramilitary marksmen you encounter in the second village after neutralizing the light armor (with Sweetwater) has this weapon. Their shack is the one with the M-COM.

F2000 R -- Once you regroup with Sarge and Haggard, Bad Company assaults a
prison camp. Past the second BRMD (light armor, wheeled), there is an ammo
crate and a weapons tin to your right. The weapon is there.

M-COM 1 -- As Marlowe nears the first village, there are two wood ramshackle bungalows;
check past the left one for the M-COM.

M-COM 2 -- As you approach the second village (after destroying the light armor with
Sweetwater), there is a building to your right with enemy snipers. The M-COM is
inside that building.

M-COM 3 -- At the prison camp (raining, all four morons are together, but no Flynn/Ghost Rider yet) you encounter a second BRMD. Go past it a bit and you should notice a wooden pedestrian path to your right. This wooden path leads to a table (with a radio) in the middle of five cabins/Quonset huts. Check the two huts to your left (one of them has the M-COM).

M-COM 4 -- Rescue Flynn/Ghost Rider at the old hangar, but don't leave after the cut-scene. Directly opposite the hangar's front door is a square wood shack with the M-COM.
Zero Dark Thirty
M-COM 1 -- When the jungle ends and the favela/ghetto starts, there are two shacks on the left. Check to the left shack's left for the M-COM.

M-COM 2 -- After the town is destroyed by mortars (and Bad Company is in the canals), check the canal's right wall when you start that section. The M-COM should be in the shaded zone.

M-COM 3 -- In the canal, after you pass through the first underpass, there's an M-COM on the canal's right wall, just past the next Russian patrol.

M-COM 4 -- After crossing over a very short (but narrow) bridge in an underground water channel (it's a deathpit), you will be on the other side of the canal. As soon as you come out, turn left 90 degrees and check the deadend for an M-COM. If you are at the weapons locker, you went past it.
Airborne
AKS-74U R -- The first Russian guard in the cargo hold has this weapon. For the purpose of the achievement/trophy, this weapon is considered a submachinegun.

AKS-74U -- The next set of Russians has this weapon.

In Heart of Darkness mission, TOZ194 S is not in second village. You can find it after lumber camp.

Usually you can get weps from early maps in the later maps from enemies, not all of them are like that tho

SPAS 12 S can be picked up from a box in next village after 2nd M-COM. Not from enemies' bodies
